Played the heck out of this game in middle school back in the 80s. One of the few games students were allowed to play on the old Apple computers because it was considered educational.
As a 24yr old enjoyer of all things tech. This is amazingly cool. I dont know if we had this in the Netherlands. But i love the vibe. Thx for making this beautiful video
Nice of you to show this classic. And Dwarf Fortress is only difficult if you do not know how to play. Just watch blind play on youtube, and I have no difficulty playing it either. You should also add retro games too to your list because like gog, you will run out of material, while there will always be people making retro game. Try Armoured Commander 2, it is a retro game made by one person I think and is quite low price for such an immersive game. You do need imagination to play the game. 😊
This reminds me of recent new game 'Dustland Delivery' (a little chinese gem) and the old game 'Mountain Man' (would you cover it?) Nice videos. Waitin for more...
World of Aden: Thunderscape. I stumbled over this game recently. I havent played it yet but it looks very interesting especially for the time it came out. Care to check it out?
I realise my comment about traveling to California despite the name of the game is ridiculous 😅
LoL 😂

Thank you
This has to be among the most fun of educational games. I had Meteor Math on the TI99/4A, and it was less fun than math homework.

Armoured Commander 2 is a fun game
Love the sound of the keyboard :)
Yeah sorry about that, I've moved my mic further back but didn't consider how close it was to the keyboard xD
@CopperPlaysRetro don't get me wrong. I do actually love it! Gimme more
@@CopperPlaysRetro I think near time stamp 30:00 I can hear the mic moved
@@davisray Rookie mistake having the mic arm attached to the same table as my keyboard 😅
@@CopperPlaysRetro You are doing great, keep posting
All I think about when this game is mentioned is dying of dysentery
A whole generation probably learned about dysentery because of this game :)
@@danieltemple4815 which is exactly why it was made ... mission accomplished I reckon 😊
Patrolling Mojave almost makes you wish for dying of dysentery.

Thank you! Do you know the year or name of the dev for Mountain Man?
@@CopperPlaysRetro Mountain Man: A New Beginning (2000) Multimedia Holding, LC.
Yeah! you made it to Oregon ... now you only have to survive on 100 pounds of food until the next harvest 😄.

I've found it in my library for DOS! I've added it to my list to cover, looks interesting!
Yes the first computer was the Mac
Never, ever caulk the wagon and float it! 😳
@@Vtarngpb sounded like a bad idea!
Mr. Copper was a great name as a carpenter, but as a doctor? People on the trail would have laughed at you.
