I love when someone else also has to share their personal stories and all from the past, how they found a toy back in the days etc! Close to that i have allot of experiences with toys we bought and found years back with my family! The interesting part is when you say your folks bought a bulk of them to sell them, they saw ahead with characters like those that will sell pretty good in your regions! Thanks for sharing man i would love to have some of those!
A masterful presentation! Thank you so much for this video! And a great companion piece to the Toy-Ventures article. I can tell that you took a good deal of care to make this video something special.
@@seereadnhear Deeply appreciated sir, I got a few nasty comments today and this one came in at the right time and totally lifted my spirits. Thank you!
Ps: love your families company logo. That has to be your folks in the logo and yourself on the far right hand corner doing some in-depth product testing.
I really appreciate your "Talk toys, not others" motto. Recently a bunch of toy related RUclips channels that I am subscribed to started feuding with each other and it's quite obnoxious.
Once again, I learned so much about a toy line I never knew existed! They are so campy and fun! Perfect for the soon coming Halloween season! Please keep up the good work. Your the best!
Great video!! I really enjoyed this a lot, and have always really loved the look of the Lincoln Monsters. Someday, I’d like to own them. For some reason, my parents never got me the monsters in the 70s, though I remember begging for the Remco 8” and 3 3/4” ones quite regularly. Also, did you ever do a video on the World’s Greatest Mad Monsters series 2 from 2005? I think Emcee did those. I meant to snag them when they came out and never did. Look forward to checking out your other videos.
Those Monsters were done by Classic TV Toys, now called Figures Toy Co and I didn't buy them at the time, figuring I had lots of time. They're gone now.
Awesome job Brick, thanks for sharing your knowledge & love of these rarities with us yet again! And also thanks for highlighting some of the independent makers, that Creature of Destruction figure got my attention 😳
Really appreciate your kindness, glad you enjoyed it. That Creature of Destruction figure will be mine. I need it. I wish I could find better images of "Zontar: The Thing From Venus" so Aleksander could tackle it.
@@BrickMantooth A Zontar figure would be sweet, but yeah, good pix of him are few & far between 🤔 Would you settle for his predecessor, the cucumber monster from “It Conquered the World”? 😅
I’m not a horror fan but you can’t stop falling in love with these ghouls. Thanks for all the Lincoln company info. So informative and I would love to see a in-depth video of all their movie related copies over the decades. Just loved the James Bond and Starsky and Hutch photos. Many thanks Brian for all your beautiful productions. I’d consider some more dramatic upbeat scary organ horror tunes. Maybe consider bribing the local church organist to do a session for you and spike her tea with some brandy or a Red Bull 😉
Another fantastically researched and presented topic I knew nothing about - as always! Btw, I'm sure I'm not alone in my jealousy at your parents super cool toy buying business. What a dream come true for a young toy fanatic.
I have to say that I had a rather fantastic childhood when it came to my toys. That being said, I am envious of your childhood what with the parents constantly shopping for the toys that I loved. Kudos to you, my friend.
Brilliant video Brian, so interesting to hear about your own personal involvement and family history here. Oddly I really like that Lincoln Mummy figure, just love it! Certainly will be checking out the links you suggested. Great video, thanks!
Great video Brian. I had the Lincoln mummy as a kid in the 70’s… the bloody wrap was indeed cool but his face was fantastic & it sealed the deal. I am hesitant to go on eBay to see how much it’s going for these days…
Nice vid! I have all of Brents stuff and it’s the closest I’ll get to owning them. I do own an original Lincoln Dracula! I mentioned Aleksadar in my episode as well! Great minds ;) Happy Halloween!
I believe that Lincoln International missed their true calling. They needed to knock-off Lincoln Logs and sell them as International Logs. (Yes, that was a very bad Dad Joke. But, in my defense, I am a dad).
Very insightful video. I'd never heard of these toys until I came across an unopened Frankenstein in a charity shop (thrift store) here in the UK. Seems shame for it to sit here with me doing nothing when there does appear to be a lot of fans out there who could appreciate it more so will probably end up putting it on eBay. Great video.
That's the first time I've ever heard about New Zealand toys before, reminds me of Brazil's policy on video games having to be made domestically. I like them, too bad they are so rare and fragile.

That is the happiest wolf man I've ever seen.
He loves his work!
As Always...FANTASTIC!!! Thankx!!! :)
Thank you!
That monsters vs superheroes ad is amazing!
If I'd seen that as a kid, my brain would have exploded!
It really is something very special.
It’s that time of year again!

Thank you so much for saying that, I put my all in this one.
Amazing toys. It must have been awesome growing up around toys.
It was really cool. I miss it.

Wow,! I don’t remember seeing these pictures or the figures.
I'm like that with the AHI figures.
Wow love it but hard to find 😭
Most definitely!
Oh man. Hope you have those models in that picture as they are stupid valuable now
They were stupid expensive when I bought them ;)
