I can feel it, 2024 is going to be a overhaul of the game, the way they are recapping on everything they did this year and all that just gives off this feeling that they are wanting to do even bigger then 2023.
I don’t know about an overhaul. They just announced their next game, so it seems like most of their devs are probably working on that one now. 🤷🏻♂️ It is possible though that things they add for the new game could make their way into NMS eventually so who knows?
It's interesting that they're offering Golden Vector as a reward for a different redux expedition. Cartographers was #3, and is fondly remembered because the starship upgrades you built in it were better than the standard hyperdrive, launch thrusters, etc. Golden Vector was the reward for #1, "The Pioneers". Cartographers also gave you the "Whispering Companion" reward, (the biological horror pet). Kind of cool that they're swapping out expedition rewards now. You could replay expedition 1 offline if you were on PC, but that was a long expedition, especially if you had to do it all by your lonesome. I completed it offline back in 2022 while we were waiting for Blighted to drop, but good god was it kind of a grind. Golden vector was nice to finally earn, but I'm not sure it was worth the struggle. "Peace out, Comrades" - Comradovich
Totally down with the redux. What I gathered from the interview with Sean left me with a very positive outlook. Releasing a new game AND continuing to make content for NMS is more rhan I'd ever ask. Great job HG, AAA studios have a lot to learn from you folks.

You can just use NMS editor and give your self all the rewards without any consequences. So stupid that NMS editor ever released, totally destroyed the game for me.

I was hoping NMS would reissue expeditions I've missed while screwing around with Space Engineers. I can only focus on one thing at a time.... 🤪

Would do expeditions if I could use my regular character. I only have one master save and I’m not making any more characters
Just use save editor to get all the rewards on your main save that's what I do
If you don't want more then one save you can delete the save after you get the rewards. I don't see what the problem is.

As of 8:30 pm CST, there hasn't been a Mac update. No new Expedition for my Mac Mini Pro. We'll see what, if anything, happens.
