Thank you for watching...One of my favorites, I would like to see it designed with the opening in the slide for the ejection port. It would make it that much better of a replica. Thanks for watching!
I was one of the more unlucky ones. My P226 ASP had a loose outer barrel right from the start - as many other owners of this particular replica has had also. My P226 shot approx 7 inch sized random "groups" on paper from approx 18ft. But I fixed mine and nowadays shoots spot on. The power output was quite inconsistent on mine also as new - but it somehow sorted itself out by just shooting it in over time. The pellet bores in the mag seemed to vary a bit I guess - but Crosman pellets seem to sit a bit tighter and they do not tend to fall out from the mag (as some of my RWSs did). I do like my P226 nowadays. Probably the only a bit ittitating with this Sig for me must be the clanky sound of the slide. The slide probably is a bit on the heavier side - but imo the slide's spring was not stiff enough (or at least on mine). I personally do like these 8+8 shot stickmags very much. Never had a pellet jam or feeding issue myself with pistols that uses these kind of magazines. The best thing with this one must be the hefty feel of it. And a working decocker is just sweet!😊👍
@@shaunsunderland7223 That is a tough one. I am a big fan of both Sig Sauer and HK. My P226 has held up well. Had just the loose barrel and low power valve issues to fix first. I love the VP9. Good ergonomics. The issue that may occur on an UX VP9 is that the lock open lever may wear against the slide and it may not always lock open to 100% at last shot (low gas as a reason excluded here, of course). But the overall performance of the VP9 is awesome imo - even rhough the trigger reset is long due to the firing mechanisms.
14:36 Unfortunately there is NO pellet pistol in existence that locks back after last round fired because hollow pellets can not be stacked vertically like BBs and bullets, which allows the mechanical follower to engage the slide lock when the magazine is empty. All pellet pistols rely on a rotary mechanism, like a revolver, which cannot be used to engage the slide lock.

I'm open to suggestions and much appreciated!
Recording this at 1080p @60 fps (instead of the 25 FPS used in this video) would allow a better view of the blowback action of the gun. Some of the movements of the slide are lost to in-between video frames.
I watched your video on the X-five ASP, this seems to shoot a little bit hotter but yes the temps were cooler when you made that video. The X-five gets an adjustable rear sight while this has a little more power. Do you think this one would be better than the X-five if we talk about the pellet loading mech? Since I've heard the chain mag on the x five suffers from jams. What's your take on this sir?
@@AirgunDetectives I highly prefer those adjustable sights as well. All the reports of jams had me double guessing the X-five. Thanks a lot for the confirmation, i really appreciate you taking the time out to answer my queries.
Have you shot pointed pellets in it and would you recommend this for dealing with aggressive birds dive bombing dogs just trying to do their business outside?
Actually the pellets do not make much of a difference in the lower velocity airgun as far as impact. What you want is the more accurate. If your objective is to scare the birds that may be successful. If your goal is pest control I would recommend something with higher FPS. Thank you for watching 👍
ya i was gonna mod it with a dremmel cutting blade to make the cut out and just leave that part alone. measurement wise would u say theyre very close in size and screw position? thx again!
How does the trigger compare to the real P226, after that really long reset? I love my P226RX Legion and this looks like fun, if the trigger is OK. And, it is too bad that they did not mill the slide for the Sig air gun red-dot, like the P320 version Cheers, Tony

But it was one of the first released models and I think I remember the original 500 FPS claim. Again thanks for watching 👍
P226 now has fps at 460. And I just bought one in Canada
Was your duty weapon on saftey when u got into self defence situsaion?
Would u prefer a glock today?
I have the new 43 cal glock gen 5 paintball marker and pretty cool because it doesnt have a saftey exexpt the hard trigger.
My local pawn has the coyote tan sig and after watching this I want it more.
I saw it new for 130 at adademy and what brought me here.
I wanted to see why he wants so much now I see y
He joking said I would get into trouble with this one and wouldnt go down on price
I bet its the weight and power y he said that we do live in the city and all karan neighbors.
The Sig 226 does not have a safety. It is double action on your first shot, then single action there forward. Happy Shooting 👍🏻
My favorite channel my boss seen me watching and he said he watches channel too
Hi, where do I found the P226 with velocity of 480? I found it in Canada 380 fps.
Recently ordered the Sig P226 and should be coming in soon. Also in route is a 1/2 UNF Silencer adapter for the Sig. Q - you know how I can get my hands on a Weihrauch 1/2 UNF Airgun Silencer? Or something comparable here in the states? I here the Weihrauch are second to none, but they are international and can't /haven't located an outlet stateside to purchase. I'm open to suggestions and much appreciated!
How long can u keep the co2 in the gun
Do u have a link to the red dot adapter for the bottom rail ?
Not off hand but look on Ebay, they are around $10.00-$15.00👍
i would love to see some more replicas of course. but the old ones as in the po8, mp40, m1 etc would be cool to see as well
Recording this at 1080p @60 fps (instead of the 25 FPS used in this video) would allow a better view of the blowback action of the gun. Some of the movements of the slide are lost to in-between video frames.
My Question is, will the P226 also shot 16 BB's using the same clip?
I have both. I like air guns but I don't like the CO2s . All my C02s Leaks. Single and mult pump are better 😊
Are you using a drop of silicone oil or pellgun oil on the tip of the Co2's every time you use it? That may help.
I like the adjustable sights on the X5. The key is using the right pellets and you will avoid the jams. Shoot around a 7 gr pellet. The RWS work well.
@@AirgunDetectives I highly prefer those adjustable sights as well. All the reports of jams had me double guessing the X-five. Thanks a lot for the confirmation, i really appreciate you taking the time out to answer my queries.
The only thing I don't like its that pick.that comes.out on the front
NICE!!!
Thank you for watching 👍
you glossed over the thread size on the barrel.
What is it?
1/2 x 28
thx for the vid, are the grips interchangeable by any chance with the real fire arm?? thx
Unfortunately, no. They are specific because of the Co2 loading system.
ya i was gonna mod it with a dremmel cutting blade to make the cut out and just leave that part alone. measurement wise would u say theyre very close in size and screw position? thx again!
Does it shoot steel bbs too???
This one is lead pellets only.
I find that the pellets sometimes fall out and jam the gun. Also, the slide has too much play and rattles around loosely.
How does the trigger compare to the real P226, after that really long reset? I love my P226RX Legion and this looks like fun, if the trigger is OK.
And, it is too bad that they did not mill the slide for the Sig air gun red-dot, like the P320 version
Cheers, Tony
Good trigger! Keep in mind there is only so much they will do to them and keep them affordable. I also wish they had a cut-out in the slide to give it a more realistic look. Happy Shooting 👍
Thanks.
Mine saids 380 fps on the box???
Where can I purchase the attachments?
Look on Ebay :)
Thank you for the review. There is a flat dark earth version that looks great.
As I have said before I appreciate your real world experience that you bring to your reviews.
This gun is on my wish list
Richard, thanks again for watching and appreciate your feedback 👍
