    I have the PPQ M2 with the original 21 pellet belt. I had a problem with the slide blowing off at the rear travel which I fixed by upgrading the recoil spring. I contacted Umarex on this problem, so I hope they fixed it with the Glock and the two new Q models. It’s definitely fun to shoot and Umarex do mention the lubrication of the belt. Mine does around three full magazines, 63 shots which is good, and it is accurate for a plinker. Like your Glock it has plenty of grunt, hitting cans out to 20 Metres, once you master the trigger. Excellent review JC. Take care.🇺🇸🇬🇧👍

    Hi JC, great review and fantastic performance. Glad to see you shooting so well with those co2 replicas. That model around here is marketed in a cardboard box. I like this model, very realistic and well built. Too bad the heavy trigger. But that silicone oil tip you suggest makes all the difference. Have a good weekend Buddy.Happy Shooting!

    Thanks again for another really informative and enjoyable review, I have got the 17 Gen 4 and very nice it is too. The 17 Gen 4 T4E is also a very nice gun with an exceptional build quality according to the reviews that I have seen, I have actually got the Walther PPQ M2 T4E which is really well built.
    Thanks again for the reviews, I know there is a lot of hard work involved in producing these.

    Stiff trigger or not that is good off hand shooting on small objects at ten yards. I have the Umarex Walther PPQ M2, which has the same magazine belt system. I put lubricant on the belt and it does improve the trigger. Thanks

    Hey JC did U carry a Glock on duty??? I carried a 19 since 1992. We were one of the first depts. to go to Glock. Of-course that was a retirement ago. How bout a review o the Umarex Notos?? Just got mine and It may not best the best PCP that I own, but the quietest. Very impressed.

    • @AirgunDetectives
      @AirgunDetectives  Год назад +2

      The Notos review is already uploaded and coming soon. As far as duty weapons, I carried a Sig 226 for many, many years until we were approved for 45 cal, then I carried a Para Ordinance 14/45. I went to investigations for the last 15 years and carried a Para Carry 45. I also occasionally carried my Springfield XDX .45 cal. I could go on since I have a variety of off-duty CCW guns, or shall I say retirement carry. My favorite thus far is the Sig 365. Ironically, I only owned one Glock in .40 cal and sold it 10 plus years ago. I think they are fantastic pistols. I just have too many guns as it is🤣👍🏻

    good review, would it be decent for very small game as in shooting bullfrogs?

    • @Phantom12309
      @Phantom12309 2 месяца назад

      I would say based on quality and ease of use don’t get a Glock like this for that, for killing small game like bullfrogs if you want a really good quality pellet gun get a beretta 92fs for about $200 but if you don’t want something that expensive get a sig p226 for $120, when going and shooting small fast game like that get that because of the amazing co2 system for fast co2 replacement but definitely get extra magazines for when you run out of pellets

  • @SWJarek
    @SWJarek Год назад +2

    I would love to if we increase the group to 10 shots. Because you don't see much of a difference between the guns when shoot 5 times. But maybe 5 is enough, just wondering. Based on your experience, if you increase the number of shots to 10, there would be a bigger difference in gruoping between those airguns guns? Considering co2 powered ones.
    The plinking session completes this test quite well and there are always more than 5 shots which i like :) Lucky you're a good shooter, so we can rely on it :)
    By the way, your reviews are great!

    • @AirgunDetectives
      @AirgunDetectives  Год назад +3

      Thank you for watching! There are a few reasons for 5 shots. Most guns I test don't have the capacity to shoot 10 rounds. It also takes twice as long to film shoot more rounds, so time is an issue in editing the overall video. Also, in Co2 guns, after each shot, the gun cools, and the fps decreases. So you show the best accuracy with 5 shots. I appreciate your comments 👍🏻😉

    This surely ain't a bad pellet blowback pistol.. But, I personally want the Walther PPQ Q5 Match instead for myself -'or the Q4. Just preferring the Walthers myself, while knowing I can't afford buying all airguns that I'd really just would like to own.😂
    But this surely was another great episode of Airgun Detectives, as usual.

    • @AirgunDetectives
      @AirgunDetectives  Год назад +2

      Actually, it is classified as "3/4" blowback. It's very crisp and solid and resets the trigger. You also get much higher velocity out of the "3/4" blowback. Happy Shooting 😉👍🏻

    Im noticing the upper rear of the magazine being nearly identical to the .43 t4e Glock 17.these are shown to be modified with a simple installation of a lighter tension spring in the valve chamber, Thus, Alot More Velocity..ill be looking into doing the mod in the coming weeks and eventual chronographing of the shots..id say the alloy pellets will be pushing well over 500 fps with the modification and bb's also..wonder why no one has mentioned the possibility of doing this? Me, id prefer much higher velocity and less shots per co2...

    Thing about guns they are also beautiful works art. I never really liked the boxy basic look of a Glock. I look at a 1911 and I think artful beauty. I look at a glock and think boring & ugly.

      I also find the boxy look if Glocks incredibly ugly - but a lot of people like the Glock style! And a pellet replica with this kind of acuracy is a real nice thing! However, I'm hardly going to shoot as well as our Airgun Detective does.
      But I like to know when I'm at fault not hitting, compared to most replicas, that scatter like a shotgun. There is a versin with rotary magazines as well. I wonder if the triiger is equaly heavy?
      The best BB gun I have is the Umarex Race Gun, which has really decent accuracy. Way better than anything else I've tried, especially if you use the supplied dot sight. Because it doesn't mount on the slide (corect term in English?), instead it actually technically mounts to the frame. And the barrel is supported at the front.
      The soft air version is used for airsoft IPSC competitions (a big thing in Asia), so it's actually strictly speaking not a replica.it has the look of a custom 1911.
      Also it is a very affordable model - a bit surprising.

    Hey great review as always. I'm considering purchasing this over the previous gen4 pellet for the belt magazine. I haven't seen anyone mention it in any other reviews but is that rear sight removable? As in it can be slid out to the side like the real steel one so you can put the mounting plate and a red dot on it? I know you can get sight mounts that wrap over from the picatinny under barrel mount but that restricts holsters. Just curious if you would take a look at if the rear site slides out to the side? I have seen that it does on the gen5 paintball version umarex makes so I'm hoping their tooling is consistent.
