It does not work on LG TVs in the UK. In the UK you have to download a third-party app and subscribe to it so that you can then mirror your phone on the TV

My LG is three years old. I have a Screen Share option which will not connect to my Iphone or Tablet. There is no Home Button on the bar so I can't get to the Apple option. I found the air play mode they are connected when I pull down to mirror my LG TV appears as it's thinking for the code it comes up ever time saying Airplay can't connect 😢

I’m trying to mirror my screen to an LG tv model 43lm5700dua. However, it shows no updates are available even when connected to wifi. Is it possible this model TV is not compatible with the latest updates available on new TVs?

For some reason once i press Screen Mirror nothing seems to show up not even my TV and i made sure the wifi is the same and for the AirPlay to be on. I’ve also tried checking for updates on the TV but it’s already updated to the newest version.

Only works on newer lgs. Lg does not upgrade it webos on its prev year tv. My 2017 tv was obsolete in 2018 as far as smart features go.
In the future I will stick to tvs with google tv - at least the is can be upgraded.

When I get this far, I see my screen, but when I try to send a TV show, say on Peacock, the sound comes over to the LG, but the screen is black or shows my controls but not the actual movie. I am trying to watch Yellowstone on Peacock, without captions, and on my regular TV set I cant get rid of captions but I can tap on captions on my device. So the mirroring works perfectly but the image of the show does not come on. Same with my iPad.
