NONE of these videos are helping. I’m looking to find how you mirror from iPhone to an rca tv. You guys always have to go out and buy another device just to watch a show. I don’t understand the extra steps on having to make it so. You guys kept saying we don’t have to be connected to wifi or whatever but continue to connect to the wifi either way.
No it doesnt.I don't know why they don't mention it right at the beginning of the video. For example, in Europe, a large number of smart TVs do not have ariplay, and therefore this is not possible.
@@faithfilledsight3 I have an LG & it worked PERFECTLY... The ONLY thing to do on the TV is just hook up to your home internet... NO OTHER connection needed! Hope this helps!
And the fact iCloud is required, wifi doesn’t cut it, your tv needs to be connected to cable, you need to have apple home downloaded and set up in order to cast your device…literally too much

I wish Apple would get around to actually fixing this and have a full screen for say, the home screen. I would love to use my new iPhone 14 Pro Max that mirrors in landscape to totality of my huge 4K tv. But then they probably don't allow this since they sell their monitors and people would probably stop buying which is a huge no no for Apple. Samsung has no issue and can do this so what's Apples reasoning again?

But upon reading comments, many people said this is a joke because you have the ability already built into your phone. So that’s how I ended up here. Thanks for the great video.
Hello, checked and it seems that for smart TV Philips europe model 2021 it not working… could not find airplay setting or could not fine any app on store to connect with the phone….maybe another solution? Thanks😊

Apparently the smart tv needs to have an “airplay” function for you to be able to cast your iPhone to it and not all smart tvs have that. I have a smart tv at home too and it doesn’t have it so i can’t cast my iphone to the tv.
I’m having more issues than anyone has ever had. 95% of the time when I click on “Apple AirPlay and HomeKit”, it brings me directly back to the Home Screen. And on the slight chance I do get in, AirPlay is on and it will NEVER show up on iPhone 13 under screen mirroring. Any ideas? I seem to be the only person on earth with this issue. Roku Express 4k+ by the way. Everything is completely up to date.

I have 2 devices. A iPhone 12 Pro Max and a iPad 12.9 pro max and (4) Roku tv’s and neither device will mirror to any of the tv’s. I have iOS 16.5 on both devices and all TV’s updated, they all share the same home internet. Airplay is turned on, on all devices also for automatic start. They don’t work for me! Nothing works. I have to constantly turn airplay on the tv off then back on just so the phone will recognize Roku tv then it just goes into thinking mode and say unable to connect. I have watched every vid and have done everything. I don’t know why but it does not work on a single thing I own!

You fail to mention that the tv must support Airplay that’s a key part you left out knowing not all smart tvs has Airplay
