I dunno if it's just me.. but this song makes me feel like there's hope tomorrow... we need more songs like this in nigeria for our genenration... God bless you John ..
Nigerians won't recognise and promote stuffs like this.everything about this music is well packaged and delivered.yet, only 27k views.you expect a good change in Nigeria right? no way!.if this song is indirectly or directly preaching fraud or sex now,am sure the views would be over a million plus.kudos to you guy.bigger you I pray.

Jon is very talented and I hope he gets the breakthrough his talent deserves. He's in the class of the likes of Asa, Brymo, Bez, Timi Dakolo, Cobhams Asuquo, Waje, Omawumi, who give us meaningful song.
i'm a huge Johnny Drille fan but I named a few elites. If I added Johhny, I might as well have added Ric Hassani, Tjan etc...Besides, I even left out some top singers like Darey, Praiz so what are you talking about? You guys just like to show yourselves.

Great music , very motivating. The problem most of them face is the "Pop lifestyle and hype syndrome". As soon an they make it to the limelight, they loose it all and start singing jargons without a story lines.. then head to South Africa, start featurung clubs, drinking, half naked girls with a cup of fake wines, cars and trying to imitate African American lifestyle. Afrobeat can never streamline with Hihop. Afrobeat is like reggae, it's something true to the root and it's about a movement, a struggle and a story of a people. The only Nigerian music we still play till today are the ones that has the Afro rythm and tells our story. I hope this young man upholds unto this masterpiece. Wish him best.
Keep resting Suru bamgbose, I could remember how we suffered in command sec sch Jos from scavenging to going to class. We ex commandos miss u bur God loves u more
This is such a powerful song and perfectly matched with the right visuals and a great message. Good job Jon. Wow! I've heard and seen a lot from Naija artists and this is the best song with a positive message in a very long time. Beyond the glitz, glam and champagne life....this generation should learn the lesson of focus, drive, commitment, hard work and a positive spirit. God bless you Jon and I pray that your star continues to shine even brighter than you have ever imagined.
Daniel Ademinokan Boss! It is rare to see you comment and it is true,my generation needs to learn the virtues of hardwork, drive and patience. Regards to Aunty Stella

I’ve never heard this song before. I just heard a medley, and a rendition of it by Dee&ASTAR, and that brought me here. What a beautiful song. Nigerian media needs to promote such positive vibes
This video is a like a breath of fresh air.. from all the meaningless songs one hears these days and its so touching.... love eet!!!!! I hope he doesn't derail from this lovely beginning.
Them Uncles and Aunts... They are never there when you struggle it out but they wanna be there when you start reaping the harvest.... Jah bless our struggles!
Stay on this lane , carved your image , do not utter vulgar in your lyric , wait and see while progressing doors shall be open for you full of blessing . i like your song young man
It's such a beautiful song. Very meaningful,no obscenities. Simi, adekunle, tuface in one video, you don make am na.even if you get village follow up,you don make am o.
How am i just hearing this masterpiece after 6 years?? Such an underrated motivational song. 🤦 Getting on the grind like a beast, on a journey to become a big star. 💪 Not off to Surulere though. Am i the only one motivated to grind harder after listening to this?
Wow!!! All shades of good. Excellent. Inspiring song in visuals. Great Job Jon. Surely... every dream is possible with consistency. Just love the fact that the Tuface dream became a reality. Dekunle and Simi nailed it too! You didn't show us big chains and flashy cars but the lowest point of starting. Watching out for you Jon.
inspirational songs like this are rare in this generation. the youths are more interested in songs where the artists brag about furkin girls, showing bum bum, rubin banks and chache. songs are suposed to be what we listen to and feel energized and motivated to have passion in whatever we as the youths and the general pupulace are into. May God bles you #JonOga and etal
What ever positive thing you are into, this song is for you, no matter how tough it is right now, you've got to keep your head high you cant give up on that dream now..... you know.....? you've come along way to back out now. So great applaud is waiting for you after now so many misconception has been made about success in recent times but hard work is still the sure way to success Thanks Jon....the message s clear and simple few heads like you is enough to inspire the lads. For the 27 people that use the DISLIKE button maybe they were expecting u will smoke some weed or parade nude dancers am glad they were disappointed. KEEP DA SPIRIT BRO, HARD WORK STILL PAYS
So his dad or uncle who hide the food from him later jump&clap when he saw him on tv... Okay.. #BigLesson.. keep pushing hard, your enemies will celebrate you @ last
if uncle suru, had not chased him out... he wouldnt have had d opportunity to play where a big producer would locate him....... There is glory in every shame
Mex is a beautiful story teller...knew the video must have been shot by him before I even saw his name at the end Nice one Jon...beautiful song...Adekunle and Simi did justice to it as well
It's rare for me to come on RUclips specifically to search for a Nigerian song. I don't even watch Nigerian music competitions so I didn't know about this guy till I heard this song on the radio. Man, this is a good song!
The first time I listen to this song, honestly I was asleep but something just woke up, I couldn't sleep through out d night, that's when I realize I love this song, omo if I have my way I will just kidnap this guy so he can sing this song for me and my family, Jon oga, pls keep the fire burning, the world will realise very soon, we shall celebrate u all over the world, u will become that big star, well-done the Lord is ur strength

inspirational songs like this are rare in this generation. the youths are more interested in songs where the artists brag about furkin girls, showing bum bum, rubin banks and chache.
songs are suposed to be what we listen to and feel energized and motivated to have passion in whatever we as the youths and the general pupulace are into.
May God bles you #JonOga and etal
I believe in my perceptions one day is gonna come to reality and whole world will rejoice with me... Amen IJN
