Who is still watching in 2020....
Me
to those who disliked this video, life is difficult for the blind, this video is the best I've seen so far,it doesn't feature co artist nor nude girls .the video really interpreted the song. This guy and d whole YBNL are geniuses to bring about this, the feature of the art work is awesome n the babe is beautiful n lively
👏👏👏
tinca island thanks 4 d piece , hope you're relieved?
more than relieved,we are all working towards perfection.
i like your beautiful pics and your skin color.you are every mans dream to take home to mama.
best of luck anyways.
Yes I really enjoyed the music, graphics and the modesty of the cast. It really nice, plus the song was fully interpreted. Tom's up to Kunle.
Lmao! Life is difficult for the blind
Knowing that he wrote this for Simi makes this song even more special and beautiful.
Yeah...right😀👌
This was not for simi sorry , this was years before he met simi
@@darylkehmia8778 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@darylkehmia8778 he said it himself that he wrote it for simi
@@darylkehmia8778 lol do you even know when they met 🤣
Nice, we need more meaningful songs like this with substance, not all about drinking, smoking, etc
Yes o, you can say that again tho
+Omolade Taiwo true
Afrimedia An opinion is far from "Beef". But I hear u. I never said anything about new songs all being crap. I love Patoranking and the Wande coal song "My Woman". As long as the song has substance, of which only few new ones do.
Afrimedia well yours is equally an opinion to be noted, but not as fact.Good music is tasteful regardless, and crap is crap regardless Going into a hustle does not mean the elimination of substance. So in regards to the hustle, i get you on that, as no one is knocking anyones hustle..peace out
+yomi williams Well there are some fans for the smoking and drinking, they need catering for as well.
Lovely song and video. Shot in Osogbo and Olumirin Water Falls in Erin Ijesa , Osun State. Thank you for supporting Nigerian tourism. No need for South Africa !
+obafemi ilesanmi thank you for pointing that out. So beautiful; aaaaahhhhh, to travel Nigeria would be great. GOD give us peace.
+obafemi ilesanmi Can we make this top comment? ...Pinned comment, or smith like that lol

hahaha meeeeee

🖐🏽🖐🏽🖐🏽
Seriously
Me.
This is what we need more of,less westernised influences.
and less provocative images on the screen. Nigeria has it's own inspirations and talents, we should push for more music like this. Big ups!
+KenUbeleveit1 I agree, we should accept are own and just be ourselves. We have a rich culture and talent.
how about we just enjoy good music and the lovely difference in our short time on Earth of everywhere we blessed enough to
These kinds of statements I always have to disagree with. An artist is an artist, if they choose to explore other genres let them because what they are doing is expressing themselves with their art. This music is so refreshing, trust me I know... But there's a crowd and mood for every song,

Who is here 2021
Here again after 6 years☺️
Will drop by again in the next 6 years to come💯❤️
I'm an Igbo girl learning yoruba and suprisingly I knew everything he said
Bukem njoku lol, that's Interesting...
Bukem njoku good job
i dont know the language am Tanzanian but I feel the music
+Leonard Mallya The song talks about how his girl, referred to as ORENTE in the video, understands him and loves him for who he is and not what he has. despite the economic short comings, Orente is not complaining. And even when the "SUGAR DADDIES" come asking her out, she still chose not to be carried away by the apparent affluence of them Sugar daddies........SO SHOUT OUT TO OUR ORENTES
thanks much thanks a lot at least I can feel even try singing these language don't know Nigerian or wat
"Adeola l'Orente, Bolatito l'orente
Opeyemi l'orente
omo daada l'orente mi
Ebami ki orente
Iyawo mi l'orente"
Adekunle Gold finally marries the woman of his dreams... Bliss! Love is Beautiful.

I LOVE SOUTH AFRICA The video is shot in Nigeria. The girl is Nigerian. Home is what you make it. Good luck in South Africa.
She is from edo state, nigeria
Been rehearsing for some time now to sing to Her that very long awaited day (my beautiful wedding) coming up in less than 10weeks from now. Coupled with John Legend - All of Me and Ed Sheeran - Thinking out loud.
That is indeed gonna be a day She will never forget in her lifetime.
Wishing you best of luck. She must be very lucky.

It's good to see African culture appreciated and promoted in a beautiful light like this.
Shalla to my Nigerian brethren from Kenya.
Much love.
"shalla" 😂 Funny man
Am a Kenya too,and I enjoy the music so much
I love you my King ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ “ you’re my heart and you know it”
Where they are looks so green and lush. I hope Nigeria starts developing their tourism to make it more accessible for foreigners. It looks so beautiful there! Cha!
I was 16 when this song came out... I listen to it multiple times a year since it’s release. I am definitely playing it on my wedding day❤️
Wow such a life
Funny how I thought same. I hope I remember ✨✨😊
Beautiful video. Love that Adekunle Gold so far chooses to praise women or rather that special woman instead of sexually objectifying them.
Yes ❤
This was such a breath of fresh air! Beautiful, stunning scenery, really showing our culture in a beautiful light. This is the side of Africa that goes unseen in mainstream media. Beautiful.
+Zee Cee
It an awesome music. I got it in my mixtape on youtube. Subscribe to Dj Sure Boi
I'll be sure to check you out :-)
amazing- My Nigeria is just too perfect in terms of culture. if all that corruption and religious violence wasn't existent, would be PERFECT WORLD for me.
Aunty mi bee ni o! Yes! We should try to return and help it develop it somehow. I love our country and culture :)
GoldenAfrican hello beny
GoldenAfrican well spoken
The most killing Part was where the girl neglect the Guy in the Lexus SUV and the real MVP just come out on foot and carry her on his shoulder and she still smile and comfortable , It's called Contented!!!
Contentment*
Contented. Contentment. Wetin be your own. Message was passed period
His love for Ankara and Kampala is just Wow!!!! I keep noticing these in all his videos... Good Work Adekunle Gold
Hello! Is anyone in 2023 still reminiscing about this lovely and memorable song?
I'm i the only person who notice that our African women look elegant and sweet when the wear something decent their beauty tend to shine more when the cover their naked body from the public, my opinion tho. beautiful song and amazing video. repeat button is sick now
+uchman machine Your opinion is so valid I so concur!
good write up my brother. Our government need to stop some naked video musics in Nigeria. I am really concern for the new and coming generations. I love Adekunle Music so much. May God continue to bless him.
+uchman machine ever wondered why the precious stuffs are covered? Metals, minerals, oil... and beautiful nice n luvly women? They are all precious! Beauty is visible but a lot more is left to imagination!
I loved the colors, the dances, the landscape and the couple...another piece of art...
We are full of love and dances
❤❤❤ I love you Ade and Simi guys you're such blessing. I have all your song. I'm in South Africa.
This music makes me wanna kiss my wife and hug my children. Too bad I don't understand the words. Something beautiful about black love. It simply contagious.
Annoying people take a positive statement and turn it into a negative assumption.
+Ugochi Uche comprehension is key. all he is saying is that the song makes him happy enough to express his love by hugging and kissing his family. I get wat u were trying to say but please understand what he meant and leave it as that because even a child in elementary school would understand what he meant, don't burst his bubble.
yeah its official u have proven u are a moron.
+Kedisha R 😂😂😂
Ann Okedairo lol
I wish I could speak or understand Yoruba. I wish I could fall in Love with a Yoruba Girl 😘😘😘
Beautiful Tune, Awesome Language.
lol! THe way he carried her off the street when that guy in a car was trying to get unto her
Adekeye Ifedayo I laughed! How cute!
Adekeye Ifedayo haha, telling him she is his.
Who is watching in 2019
Cameroon
This is good vibe 2023 the rest na 😢
These are the kinds of songs that make my soul be at peace
Adekunle Gold is a breath of fresh air in an industry saturated with a lack of originality and substance. Yoruba boy winning
but do no adelekune number
No lie, he is best signed artist to any record label in Nigeria at the moment. Still amazed he got this talent all this while and he was busy photoshopping for social medias. I need to discover my hidden talent ooh. Powerful song, video gave it a concrete justice.
oladapo dapo absolutely on point
+oladapo dapo some talents have to be well nurtured and brut out at the right time.... else if premature could crash
2022. Still enjoying this
Who’s here with me 😏
I refused to believe that I am the only person enjoying this lovely song.
The nostalgia I get each time this song comes up is one I which to hold on to forever
The old adekunle was soo soulfull. I don't understand it but damnn. He is still a top tier artist tho.
I'm still here June 2023 ❤
I Love AG and his Baby 💯
Woow lovely video...Our language, customs and traditions will not go into extincton.... 🙏💯
+Ultra Violet yes amin o
+Ultra Violet its not only Yoruba people.there is not a Hausa family in existence that will not teach their children Hausa.
+Ultra Violet i did nt read ur comment properly before...I would say its nt good enough not to know your dialect...As for me have never experience such...I speak both english and ma dialect @ home to my parents and those around me...Now am in ukraine and i speak yoruba to ma countrymen....
+Ultra Violet yeah probably....All the best anyways...
+Ultra Violet you too..thnks
Love from Nepal 😍😍❤
yes oo, one love
Here again in 2024 🎉
Still vibing the song in 2024 😊
The only Nigerian male singer whose lyrics sends shivers down the spine because of the intense meanings it conveys.
Watching this video after realising that AG wrote this song for Simi, and having seen some of their clips on IG as a couple, all I see in this video is that the lady perfectly played out Simi's character 😃... It's soooo beautifullll and lovely.
I am finally happy that some guys are bringing us back to the real rythym of Africa culture/tadition. I really love this music.
AG Baby for life ❤
Love that the video was shoot in Nigeria tired of all the foreign settings
👌
Watching this beautiful cultured video in quarantine July 2020...I just watched Simi Duduke. Then I thought I should search for Orente... few years ago I was in Naija and this music all over the media ! So melodious and beautiful!
i don't really no what this dude is saying but am inlove with this song.
He talking about pure love
I can’t get over this song after so many years I pray I marry a Yoruba man or Igbo so help me God ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾
The scenes in this video are all so beautiful, the scene that sticks out though is when she waits for Adekunle and he carries her despite another man w/ a car
AG Baby 😩 am here for 2021
Oh you’re here cause you just remembered this song too right ? Me too ❤
My best AG single ever
For those asking "Orente" simply means "DAMSEL" ........You're welcome :D
+DanTemmy it's a really ancient Yoruba word isn't it? Cuz I'm here completely unable to break it down... Is it made up of any smaller words, or is it a whole term by itself that means 'damsel'/'girl'/'babe' lol
+FroMaestro is it really Yoruba? i have never heard that word like ever. i thought maybe it was a igbo name
+DanTemmy 'Orente' doesn't just mean "Damsel". That translation is too loose. Yoruba is a very rich language. 'Opeke', 'Omoge', 'Sisi', 'Orente' etc. are all synonyms for a young beautiful woman or damsel but they don't convey absolutely the same nuance. 'Orente' is used to describe a beautiful young lady that is SHORT or SMALLISH. You can't call a tall lady (no matter how beautiful) 'orente'. If you are in doubt about who to call 'orente'...look at his love interest in this video. She is the archetypal 'orente'.
Laykay thaaaaaank you. Finally, a translation that jives with how I've seen it used. Orente --> 'small and cute', 'short & sweet' etc.
Laykay wa gbayi
This song makes cry ever time.. Its just simply beautiful
Who still believes this song still burns in 2022/ 2023
Who is here because Adekunle Gold sang it for his wife?
Hi Adekunle if you get to ready this...your style of music is different and I like it. keep it up bro
Chaiii, 6years don go like this, throwback bug time... See as baba slim, baba don big now.. OmO, money good .. hustle ooooooooo😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
i don't know what the hell of its meaning but am in love with these bits.
what is wrong with Nigeria-Andrew young the African America documentary on Nigeria.you will shed tears if you watch
it.He asserted that if not for our clueless and corrupt leaders Nigeria should have
been a par with America.
The culture,beautiful people,The food,The music,The movie.Natural and human resources at our disposal.
The video just shows how great and beautiful Nigeria is.great and chilling song to listen to.
Naija land of black skin
capital of black nation.
Afrimedia your assertion is so apt especially on the music part whereby the artists dont need to lobby for posts from the state government.just do their own thing.
Afrimedia yes ooo.
we are getting der.
hello you two

Can we get more of the old Adekunle Gold. I miss his sounds
eye opener to other artist wasting money and doing free advertisement for other countries, shooting video abroad. Proud to be a #NIGERIAN
The pretty Lady Though; she's so natural and makes the video looks real...
Yea she is from nigeria
Waoh Ijesha waterfalls! Proud to say I ve been there. Its a magnificent natural beauty. For a fleeting moment, I actually forgot I was in the "Z--"

This song reminds me of campus 🇺🇬
This a lovely song with a lovely video that actually shows what true love means. One can play the video without the fear of the children listening or watching. Nice job
+Idowu Oyetade u r correct
+Idowu Oyetade very true. A lot of today's music is full of sexualised lyrics and images.
I like the clean, whole-some vids that also represent Nigeria well.
I only discovered him today... I am already in love with him!!! Love nigerian culture so much
Imagine sitting in a Lufthansa coming from Frankfurt to Africa....regards to Africa from Sweden...
