Some of the Group 4 transfers I didn't include, since they don't appear in actual Group B configuration in any of the games. Also I only focused on licensed appearances, so that's why art of rally for example is not mentioned or shown in the video, however I highly recommend checking it out, it features some Group B and S car recreations that were never seen in games before.

hi, when will u make JGTC/Super GT cars in Racing Games pls??? I hope it's after this video.
@@johnpaularibowo1636 No idea yet. I will put up a vote on my community tab soon about the next video, and it will be among the options.
The 222D was also teeeechnically in Wreckfest as well just not it's official name
Only officially licensed vehicles . Its been said already, it’s in the description , and if we 2 do unlicensed vehicles the list will be endless from all the gta , cheap arcade racers etc etc
@@ThaDutchDK1989 Oh I know, just felt like mentioning because I was super hyped at the time to see it in Wreckfest.
@@ThaDutchDK1989we already know about that bruh 😂
But still, it's insane that a group B car would participate in a banger racing
A tank (military) in a touring car game is more insane ( ToCa 1)
@@nicotinegaming2 Technically... Group S :D
I imagine how hard it is for game developers to reach out to get the license many of these cars that are often forgotten. Especially rally cars from the past for being so restrictively limited to get access to. Thats why I think art of rally does a better approach of not being actually licensed. Of all of the licensed Group B rally cars that appeared officially except for certain few ones. An exemple is the Group B Mazda RX-7. and only god knows how many others rally cars from different eras and regulations that weren't in a videogame before.
I'm actually very surprised to know the Celica TCT and even the Citroen BX 4TC appeared in a videogame officially. Excellent video btw!
Very surprised to see even *one* of the Group S prototypes in a rally game outside of Art of Rally, let alone three of them!
I do hope we see more Group B and S prototypes in future games, even unlicensed. The fact that no game has ever used the Group S Quattro is astounding, considering its mythical status.
Of course the first video we see you crash in is the one about Group B cars. How fitting!
Hey, at least there wasn't a crowd
3:36 bro casually did a stunt 💀
3:36 very epic distraction
3:37 nice barrel roll
Also, I completely understand why this wasn't included since its not "offical", but the Group B version of the Mazda RX-7 SA/FB is in Gran Turismo 2 thanks to a Racing Modification
The sound of the Metro 6R4 is just divine 5:46
DiRT Rally 2.0's sound design is god tier 👌
Keep up the good work. Looking out for the new videos of rare cars etc . Maybe a idea for the feature : rare real race tracks (so not the fantasy tracks ) (race driver grid 1 has some unique ones)
Thanks for the idea. Something like that would be cool to make, though it's probably something that I would get into at a later time.
I understand you have more projects and It takes quite a lot of time and research. That’s why I say in the future 😉
Wait, the Celica Twin-Cam was seriously only featured in ONE GAME?!?
Also sad to see the screaming RX-7 was mostly overlooked(although at first it was more a semi-works entry started by Achim Warmbold) , but he wasn't the only one not getting video game attention(like the Citroën Visa Mille Pistes, Talbot Samba Rally or the Ford Escort RS1700T).
The 308 GTB and GTM(especially the former) also haven't seen use in racing form, but the GTB did enjoy some success in rallies.
it's nice to see some Group S appearing, although the models of Audi, Mazda, Ford, Seat, Lada and the improved ECV II have yet to really feature somewhere. The ECV that exists(since 2010) is actually a replica since its original base was used to create the EVC II.
Great video, I really appreciate showing interior of cars
Many very interesting cars
At the next we can see Group A and so much Japanese cars... Celica, Evo, Impreza, Leone, Galant
I'm all 100% for that too hopefully. I find Group A touring/rally cars very interesting and yet they are quite bit overlooked.
We'll be here all day with the amount of the road cars that have been in games
I loved using (and learning about the existence of) the Manta in Dirt 3!
Atleast you do your homework right cause I taught he maybe gonna mis the manta in Forza motorsport 6 cause it’s a unicorn car ( one off special event to get it online)! I have all unicorns on 6 so I knew 👍😅
Nice Ultimate Video!!⭐⭐
Codemasters were just amazing with their Dirt and Grid games in tetms of soudn, feel and sensation of speed.
I really wish they made an open world racing game using same exact mechanics.
To rival modern, lame and stagnate nfs games or to replace criterion/ghost with doing their own take on it...
hello! maybe you can do a video in the future regarding race cars that never actually raced? (like the koenigsegg ccgt, ferrari f50 gt1 and even some of the cars from this video :D)
My favorite Group B rally cars in this video are the Lancia 037, the Lancia Delta S4, and the Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2. I hope that those cars will return to GT7. They are in the leaked datamine list after all.
3:14 was in Sebastian loeb rally evo
Only other game I remember it from
Fun fact, the 222d also was the base of a car in wreckfest
Honestly, BX4 TC is pretty underrated and civil model could be seen at least once in games - maybe it wasn't so successfull but it's very interesting car in both design and mechanic ways
Citroen in general seem to lack much time in the spotlight and when it does appear it tends to just be stuff like the DS3 or Xantia (which I think is quite cool in and of itself, I just wish they start putting in stuff like the CX/BX or XM)
No Peugeot Quasar is a shame, it was essentially a supercar made for group S, looks and all. Sebastian Loeb Rally Evo has one as part of the group S pack, and it’s a great car to drive
Except Quasar never intended to be a competition machine and simply a concept car. I know that most people thought it's for Group S because Sebastien Loeb Evo put it as such. In reality if Group S didn't get cancelled, Peugeot would develop 405 T16 and not Quasar.
@@ifanramadhana7833 that’s unfortunate, it certainly would’ve stood out from the rest of the Group S cars. At least Peugeot are still making crazy race cars, looking at the 9X8 mostly
You forgot NFS The Run for the Homologation Quattro :)
I also think it's appropriate to mention the Porsche 959 Dakar (FH4-5) and the 961 (PC2-3).
I didn't forget; the quattro in The Run is the 20v model, which is more so based on the standard quattro.
As for the 959 Dakar, I was actually debating with myself if I should include it or not, as it's essentially what the Group B version would've been like minus the rally raid changes, but I completely forgot about in the end lol.
@@VGCE alright.
And what about the 961? It's along the same kind of line as the 288 GTO Evoluzione
@@Mr.Goldbar Oh damn, that's an oversight from me. Didn't notice it was built on Group B regulations, only it's IMSA experimental classification stick to me.
Best
Its little shame any rally game had Polonez 2500 Racing
Earned nickname Stratopolonez because they insert Ferrari Dino/Lancia Stratos engine, but car are under Group B.
And that engine was very loud and many local residents called Milicia(Former name of Police in Poland) to quiet down that noise.
Hey VGCE, have ya ever heard of GT Pro Series? There's a couple cars I've seen on there I haven't see anywhere else.
Yep, I want to look into it soon.
Try Do F1 Cars In Racing Games.
Next : Stock Cars in Racing Games
I sometimes forget that the 959 we see often is a homologated version of a rally car that we never got to see in action.
It raced in the Paris-Dakar rally several times, and won it in 1986, it had a much higher ground clearance than the normal 959 road car, but in it`s final dakar version, it was a beast in the dunes as well.
It was also raced at Le Mans in 1986 in a track racing version, called the 961, where it finished 1st in class and 7th overall, so it had a decent motorsport record, but mostly the 959 served as a test bed for new tech for Porsche cars in the future, since when they were ready to launch the 959 as a Group B rally car in 1987, the class was closed down, at the end of 1986, following several fatal accidents in 1986.

4:25 Is Unicorn Cars? Toyota Celica Twin Cam Turbo
My favorite cars for GR.b is Audi Quattro gen 2❤❤
1:20
5:02
7:20
13:57
19:50
The brutalist rear ends of these cars are a masterpiece, I could stare all day
3:37 NO WAAAAYYYY
Rally cars in Gran Turismo behave like a woodchuck on ice.
What about Peugeot Quasar from Group S?
The Quasar was just a 205 T16 prototype with a radically different chassi. They already made a group S car. The 405 T16. It didn't had it's introduction in Group S but did compete on Pikes Peak and in Paris Dakar.
The sound of the Renault 5 maxi is just a joke what they did . Dirt rally did it much better realistic
I agree with it.Sounds cars on SLRE is very weak, what a pity becouse game have good physics and tracks.
10:20 and 27:00 I wonder why you always show Gran Turismo 7 in lower quality compared to other games. It feels like I'm watching in 480p but only with GT7 game. Why are you doing this on purpose? 😆
I noticed that too in previous videos
He's doing this because he's a Forza fanboi lmao
Stanb340 in the early episodes of unique cars he forgot a lot off Forza cars so he is more gt fanboy that Forza . I am more Forza fan so I knew
might be that the quality lowers a lot when porting the footage from a ps5 to a pc or something
@@epeli0035 Partly correct. I'm recording on a base PS4 with the built-in software, which only allows for 720p at 30 fps max. I plan to buy a capture card sometime in the future, and then it won't be an issue anymore.
@@ThaDutchDK1989A lot of the Forza rare cars was already appeared in "forgotten cars in modern games", doens't are nothing related to fanboyzism.
22:37 isn't it the Kadett?
It's a Vauxhall Astra in the UK. Fun fact in South America the Astra/Kadett was sold as a Chevrolet.
Although it existed a group S Opel Kadett but Vauxhall did as well.
@@b.1570, as far as i can remember, no, it was the last gen of the Kadett, the E i think, and then it came the Astra A.
Hi
Hi
@@VGCE just to meet you, hey are you evolution of cars in racing games?
@@theDriver637 One of my many names
hey i would love it if you want to play Burnout there are cars if you know what they are called is a racing game created in 2001
He only include licensed vehicles on the videos, Burnout never got licensed vehicles.
In Gran Turismo 4 is available, but car is 1982 Audi Quattro
That’s not a sport quattro (Swb, just a Quattro (lwb)
I'm genuinely curious, why did you include two Ferrari cars?
Check the fixed comment.
The 288 GTO was intended to be Ferraris Group B rally car for tarmac ( asphalt ) rallys, but the plans fell through, so instead it formed the basis for the legendary F40, the 288 GTO Evo is pretty much an F40 in the whole middle section, it was the final step before the F40 was launched.
The F40 had pretty good results in 1990:s sportscar racing, ( BPR Series back then ) although competing against the super fast Mclaren F1 was not easy, but it still put up a good fight, and was the Mclaren biggest rival untill the rules changed in the late 1990:s, and the GT1 beasts, like Mercedes CLK GTR took over the show.
But Burnout dont have realistic names on the cars those cars are destructible
He only include licensed vehicles on the videos, Burnout never got licensed vehicles.
@@Silva_GP well i have driven vehicles on burnout legends i say that the cars i used are based on real life
@@theDriver637 But we only used licensed cars, as in "real-life cars that also exist in real life". Cars "based on RL cars" are entirely fictional.
@@theDriver637 Based are not licensed, there is differences.
