Cool, thanks for getting right to the point and not wasting our time. I just installed my Anti reflecting screen protector from Samsung and it's decent. It's a thin soft membrane and doesn't affect touch or Front camera either. However it has made my screen a tad but dimmer. I like it though because it was way to sharp and actually fixes the contrast on the screen imo.
Fantastic video. Flolab says their screen protector is anti-reflective. Can you do a test to see how well it works in comparison to the screen without a protector? No one on RUclips has done this comparison.
Flolab does make an anti-reflective screen protector for the S24 Ultra, but written reviews weren't so great. But have yet to see a comparison on video.
I actually got this two weeks ago. Was sceptical due to the price and mixed reviews, but it really is better than the tempered glass I had before, both in terms of visuals and also fingerprint and touch capabilities. Of course, the protection is worse, so I better not drop my phone now😉
Well, three months later, and I have some kind of strange spots under the plastic film. No idea how or why, but that's pretty much the shortest lives protective film I have ever had. I can still use it, but the spots are distracting and eventually I will have to exchange it...🤷♂️
Ok, hear me out. I have an S24 Plus. I installed a normal tempered glass screen protector. THEN a Samsung anti glare screen protector on top of the tempered glass. The result is the same anti-glare as S24 Ultra!! The only issue is that the screen is a bit grainy looking very close up and have to press harder for fingerprint. But it's totally worth it for the no glare screen.
Hi, I have applied same screen protector from Samsung for my S24U, then I compare the brightness under direct sun with IPhone 15 PM which has clear tempered glass on it. The 15 PM showed much brighter then S24U with this condition. S24U peak brightness of 2600 nits vs 2000 nits of 15 PM, 30% more peak brightness does not show the advantage in this case. So in my case the peak brightness seems lower than 2000 nits which decrease more than 30%. This is significant drop. Can u confirm on ur situation pls, how dim the brightness with vs without anti reflective screen protector from Samsung. I don't see any RUclipsr mentioning this. Thank you and good job with ur video, keep us informing with non mainstream test that other reviewer don't test it
When I was putting it on I also tested it and as you mentioned the brightness decreased measured by lux. I don't remember the exact number but it could be 100-200 lux.
i compared it with an iphone 13 and the brightness on the s24 ultra is dimmer than the iphone. i honestly dont understand where the 2600 nits are. whats going on????
@techmo2020 , thank you for the reply. I'm aware that anti reflective will decrease the brightness but not expected to decrease more than 30% of peak nits. So I just wonder it's just my unit that suffer this or it's normal thing.
One of the worst I've very tried. Ruined both just applying because with dust it draws in with the plastic. Even when it was applied I hated the feel swiping the screen afterwards with the edges.

Went with tempered because of this official not covering whole screen and being the foil. Will see how it goes as this is first time I'm using any screen protector.
Do Gorilla Glass protection standards really protect against scratches (of course by taking care of the device) after a few years of use without screen protection?
I have not used a screen protector or case on my s22 ultra since It came out. I work in construction and don't baby the phone. No cracks and just micro scratches that can only be seen with the phone screen off@@loic.0128
Just don't buy this! Bottom part always brokes and after that it's impossible to do anything with it. It's better to apply it yourself without aligner and remove the bubbles. The worst Samsung product ever.
@hannes6114 the anti glare works great but it dampens the vividness and also impossible to clean. Alcohol just smears everything. Now this might not be a problem for most but my job is particularly dirty so it's an issue for me
Dividing the S24 Ultra screen into three sections to show how different screen protectors reflect light is a genius move. Well done mate!
Yes
The best video on the S24U screen protector yet.

Great comparison and review of the antireflective screen protector 👍
My goodness. Samsung anti reflecting Screen protector is just that good. WOW!!!

Isn't Flolab iPhone-only?
Flolab does make an anti-reflective screen protector for the S24 Ultra, but written reviews weren't so great. But have yet to see a comparison on video.
Any chance of doing a similar comparison with glass anti glare screen protectors like flolab etc?

I've got one on mine and works well keeps most of the anti reflective properties
I want to ask, what is the Samsung screen protector made of, hydrogel or plastic?
Very smart setup video.
Got a really nice tempered protector done for cheap the day I got my phone. Just cracked it. So time to install the official Samsung one

Mine covers most of the screen and finger print reader works which it don't when you use Tempered glass

Why?
