It's crazy it's almost as if the fingerprint sensor only works when you actually put your thumb ON the sensor
Go my S24 ultra at verizon and the screen protector offered was ZAG. between clear and privacy. Got privacy and it installed so smoothly and it's literally amazing. I also love the more.. smooth matte(sp?) Feel of it. Seriously best screen protector I've had on any of my samsung flagships
Does it have any glare?
@@Rotvic17 nope! It eats the light. You can tell a light is there but no glaring. I love it.
@@kristinjirik2235 thank you. I'm gonna order one today. I just got my s24 ultra this morning
@@Rotvic17 it has already lowered the screen quality by making it matt blurry which kills the beauty of the screen. Instead use Samsung official anti glare screen protector. This zagg sheets are as useless as they are expensive.
@@yabrgon thank you for the input. I'll check that one out. I did see the prices are crazy even at the mall.
3 things.
My plastic guide did not line the screen protector perfectly. It leans to the right.
Also, this protector will make your colour's more dull. Even with the vivid enabled.
It will also make fingerprint harder to read.
Mine leaned to the right as well. Did you end up keeping it by the way?
Both of you guys can increase touch sensitivity in settings!@@ferfeenix
I wish you would've done a drop test on the XTR3. The Pixel 8 Pro only surviving a 3ft drop but the iPhone 15 Pro Max surviving up to 7ft has me very confused as to how durable it is on the S24U.
Maybe comparing it to ZAGG's InvisibleShield Glass Elite would make for a good video?
The XTR3 being one of the only anti-reflective screen protectors so I don't lose the anti-reflective properties of the S24U screen is a big selling feature. I've only seen it and the Samsung official film.
Those sucka's are high dollar.
I'm liking the amFilm Glass Protector
$8 per 2pk & perfect alignment with no bubbles.
Can afford a 1500 phone. Can't afford premium screen protector XD
@@maximusgladi8or 🤣
59$ god damn too high
You're also paying for the warranty if you're going to own your phone for the next 3 or 4 years they replace it at no charge. Also I'm not saying you have to pay for retail for exact screen protector but there is a difference between the very cheap protectors and the zags
Wrong they charged me $10. For shipping@thetechlibrarian
@@thetechlibrarian zagg is a rip off. I just logged in to my account today and all my registered products were gone.
Yea I also want a $10 screen protector protecting my thousand dollar phone......
@@maximusgladi8orA $10 one made out of glass rather than this oversized flimsy plastic. 😂😂😂
I would appreciate if you tried scraching film screen protectors with your nails as well.
Juggernaut has a screen protector that not tempered glass and it claims to be 9h hardeness. I think they're FOS.
@hightechcheck do you have a video of the ZAGG tempered glass protector for the S24 ultra?
how come i did mine and it's nothing. I think i did it wrong
I'm aggravated that my carrier told me that the screen protector was tempered glass
They did the same thing to me.
I purchased the non privacy screen protector. With in 3 days I cant tell what it is but it looks like lint or the screen protector is bubbling up this happend to me 3 times already I had 3 replacements. Same results. Its either lint or its bubbling up after 3 days of installation
I had the same thing happen, but I don't think it's bubbling up. I think it's just a surface defect. Either way, it sucks
The price for only one! film screen protector is extremely high😮
Lifetime replacement is included. That's why.
It's worth it
Hello, can you tell me what brand is best for screen privacy? Thanks
Man I thought about picking up the privacy screen for my s24 plus at a local Best Buy. Good thing I watched your video first! Very disappointed on the quality for the price. Guess I will look for a cheap one on Amazon. Overall thanks for this video bro!
I hate the zag privacy screen protected. It matted the screen & makes everything look dull & hard to see smh. The only reason why I got it was I purchased the phone unlocked from best buy and needed a case and screen protector asap and went to tmobile. They had a deal buy 3 get 25% off. This protector is trash smh
Film protector are not worth either go tempered glass or no protection at all
Nice protector gonna get this for the s25 ultra when I upgrade.
I have the Fusion XTR3 on my S24 Ultra and it's the best screen protector I've ever had. Easy to install and does not affect how anti glare/reflective the screen is. For a $1,300 phone having great protection is a no brainer.
It's literally impossible for a glass screen protector to not affect the anti glare of the actual screen. Why lie, though? Are you trying to convince yourself?
That screen protector is plastic, not glass
Bot
The best screen protector is ultra glass, even though it is not antiglare. Nice video 📹 as always.
They have a glass anti reflective for the S24U. Thats the one im using. Pretty much what you see on the film but with glass... or at least it feels like glass
Btw, great video. You got a new subscriber here
XTR3 is what's on the video, and that's the only one Zagg has that has anti-reflective. So what you're using is XTR3.
😮 What's the best 4 way privacy screen protector galaxy s24 ultra 😅
ive seen reviews on amazon that the bubbles come back and it peels up after a couple of weeks, can you verify?
@mlwz1082 had mine for 2 weeks, no signs of bubbles or peel up. If any issues come up, it does have a lifetime warranty.
I can, i had 3 peel off after a couple of weeks or within the week, no scratches but it was peeling from the inside. I just moved away from it and started using FloLab.
Patiently waiting on the S24U best and worst case video
Tomorrow morning 😁 it’s gonna be BIG
Awful screen protector, after a few weeks it looks constantly hazy and covered with marks that dont come off.
Same!!!! I thought it was just because I dropped it face down once, but I got a new one, and the same thing started happening, but worse!
I just ended up getting the insignia 2 pack. Hopefully that'll be better
The fingerprint sensor is not from the screen protector it's the phone itself The fingerprint sensor was horrible before the first update and it's still not the greatest after the update unfortunately the s24 does not seem to be a better phone than the s23 ultra purely from functional standpoints
Nice but way to expensive for just a screen protector.
Why des anyone make a glass screen protector just like an iPhone
Nice review and installation experience tho 👍
I would rather go with no protection then hazy privacy film 😅😅😅😅😅
Very informative video bro but the product is useless and too much expensive. Thank for letting us know about this product.
Cant use my finger prints after installing this protector
Did you try re-registering them?
Great content. Those zag screen protectors for those prices zag can keep them. I'll stick with the Whitestone dome film screen protector that uses a UV light to cure the screen just like the glass ones. Works fantastic. And you get a pack for $24.99.
I fail to understand why a screen protector is actually needed for a S24 Ultra that basically has the toughest glass ever made.
The glass is tougher than any screen protector can ever be.
🤣
Antireflective screen protector isnt to protect the screen but to have a better antireflective screen. The privacy one with the "blue light filter" isnt to protect the screen either.
If you were to put a screen protector to actually protect the phone, it would be to avoid having scratches when the screen comes into contact with sharp things like keys or a razor. If you watched some durability videos the screen is fairly resistant, but wouldnt be nice to change the screen just because you keep your phone in the same pocket as the keys. It is resistant but not indestructible, plus tenacity isnt the same as toughness (i think thats the translation of the words i wanna say)
It can still get scratched by dirt and sand particles. If I rocked an S24 Ultra naked and it got scratched, would you by me a new one? Exactly!! No one would. The phone is very expensive and should still be used with a screen protector.
Don't buy these
Overpriced plastic
Can't believe this company is still in the market. Piece of shit overpriced crap 😂. There's a lot better alternatives out there. I've used amfilm and dome glass tempered glass screen protector and never once had an issue with both.
I agree with that whole statement, I’m pretty disappointed with zagg.
Hey @@HighTechCheck , Could you do a review of the best privacy screen protector for the S24 Ultra?? Like which has the best clarity/offers the best privacy and then your usual scratch, drop and install test. Another thing to check would be selfie with flash. I have the WSKEN privacy screen protector and I get a halo/light ring around selfies when I use the flash which is very annoying. Thanks for the great content!
Ive had a zagg soft anti glare protector on my note 9 since 2018. Screen is like new except two cracks from 2 drops. Dont understand the hate. Just ordered the s24 ultra.
What a shit screen protector and for the price I’ll stick with tempered glass
Over-priced garbage
