Never thought I needed an antireflective phone screen until I had one. I have an Iphone 14 pro as a work phone and the difference is crazy. Especially when the phone is on my window mount on a sunny day or in a brightly lit room/office. Makes such a huge difference.

Flolab's NanoArmour ONETIME PRO tempered glass has anti-reflective capabilities as they advertise, can you compare it to the Samsung Anti-reflective film?
I wish Samsung produces official Glass version instead film. The film too much fingerprints
My opinion is that Samsung needs to stick with electronics and leave accessories to professionals. Samsung can't make accessories as good as 3rd party and as cheap.

The film is to preserve the anti-reflection properties. I had a glass screen protector installed, and it chipped very quickly. It was the amFilm version, so I just use the film I have. I have Samsung Care+, so if I damage my screen, I can repair it.

@solomonkane408 fingerprint and everything is much better on a film. But if you drop it on a weird angle, boom there goes that 1300$ down the drain. So I'll def stick to my glass protector from Spigen. Actually the fingerprint sensor gets better over time
I have been using the Samsung Film for the last 3 phones. It has worked flawlessly and on a couple of occasions protected phone screen from potential serious damage. The film is remarkably durable in my experience. This years anti-reflective film seems to be improved in quality. I definitely dont want to miss out on the anti-reflection screen on this S24 Ultra. It's a feature I love, not seeing reflections. Looking forward to your follow up review!
Thanks for doing this video. I just got an S24+ and have never used a screen protector and was wondering about the pros & cons of the different types. I've never broken a screen (knock on wood!) but as the price of phones keep going up, a screen protector is something I've been looking into and this video was very helpful! I'm looking forward to your follow-up video on the Samsung anti-reflective film.
*Edited to add: I think part of the reason I've avoided a broken screen all these years is the type of case I've been using for 3 phones now... over 10 years. It is the Encased version with a belt clip (a MUST HAVE for me) with the mating back cover that slides into the other side with the belt clip. Instead of putting my phone in a pocket where it can bounce/fall out it stays very securely clipped to my belt for freedom of movement, and the moment I want my phone it quickly and easily slips up out of the belt-clipped side of the case.
Even when not on my belt (carrying in-hand, in a pocket) the screen is fully protected so even if an accidental drop, etc happens... I have nothing to worry about... full phone protection. I'm surprised more people don't seem to use Encased but then again there are zillion different cases out there so that could be part of it. If the ability to very securely carry your phone on your belt is a priority, this is the best case I've found.
I have had a glass screen protector on my S24U for about two weeks and did not like the glare, and I sometimes had to wet my finger in order to get the fingerprint working. You know, i wanted to make a snapshot, and by the time I unlocked the phone, that moment was gone. I ordered the Samsung Anti-Reflective Film and love it! I do not have a single unlock issue anymore, and the anti-reflective film looks great.
Interesting and informative video but it begs the question; why don't the phone manufacturers fit these screens as standard during the manufacturing process. OK, it will increase the price a bit but so what.
If they can fit film to a folding phone screen then why not all phones.
How was the fortress protector with the fingerprint sensor? Whatever I have fitted (can't remember the brand) has made it a bit hit or miss!

How about applying Samsung Protective Film on Fortress Tempered Glass rather than on the phone screen?
It'll probably be way too thick and wouldn't be able to read your fingerprint. But....... How about a Tempered Glass Screen Protector with the anti-reflective properties now that would be great.

Hello Jimmy! I noticed that a Good Lock app does not allow notifications. Allow notifications are greyed out. It won't turn on. Instead, it shows the message "All notifications from this app are blocked." Do you have any idea why this is happening? I would appreciate it if you could shed some light on this matter. How about putting the glass on first and then the antibreflective film? May impede fingerprint reader

How about applying the film on a tempered glass protector? You get best of both, except that the finger print scanner may not work.
I have the InstaProtek liquid glass. They put it on with a machine in the store. Supposedly should replace after a year. But no scratches, no prints, no issues with scanning of prints. Can't tell that anything is on the phone. Works for me.
all screen protector producers need to start mass produce these anti reflective screen protectors so that we get the best of both world

I would personally to for the film, i an using the official film for the S22 Ultra, ive seen no deep scratches, it seems to be self repairing because of the way it made (and you can "bend" it if it were to be installed slightly wrong). Also the film would *absorb* shocks better than glas, not saying that it would be better, because i dont know if it would. But I don't notice any issues with resistance.
Since I bought the S24 ultra I have been using it without a screen protector to enjoy the anti reflecting feature. I dropped the phone with a case head chest high and the first day I got it and it survived the dropped( luckly for me) after I decided to purchase samsung care+ just in case. Today I dropped my phone it went flying from my hand and landed again face flat! Two take aways: the screen is pretty solid against drops if you have a case and a second is that I. Have use many devices and this is the first one that after a bit more than a month of use without any screen protector the screen has no scratches. I have a busy work and move around the whole day using my phone constantly and it is still looks incredible yet my other devices in the past have gotten scratches really quick with the same use. So yes the screen has improved in terms of scratch resistance and drops. I got the insurance just in case😅.

I have had my phone less than a month and the Samsung protector is already scratched. It has minor scratches all over it from wiping it off. I use a clean (new) micro fiber and glass cleaner to clean it (spray away). I love the anti reflective properties but really, really hate scratches!
is it worth enabling touch sensitivity does it help while having screen protector?
If your using the finger sprint reader to unlock your phone than yes you should turn on touch sensitivity. If your just using face, pin, or a pattern to unlock than no you don't need to. My S24U doesn't read my finger when using a screen protector if touch sensitivity is off.
I got the Samsung screen protector free with my S24 Ultra. I had to take it off after 2 days as it didn't go to the edge of the screen, so when I swiped from the edge, my finger would catch on the film. It was super annoying.
What do you think of Whitestone glass products
I've used Whitestone dome glass for years. Loved them, but so much work to install back in the day
I use a tempered glass screen protector on my Samsung S23+ and my ultrasonic Fingerprint detector works 100%.
Cant you just put the film ontop of your fortress tempered glass, ( im guessing itll be too thick for that ? )
I hate to say it, but when it comes to tempered glass I go with Dome Glass. They are way too expensive and a b!tch to install for beginners (I'm a professional now lol) but they are great screen protectors. I'm surprised the tempered glass screen protector you have worked with the fingerprint sensor. I tried 3 different tempered glass screen protectors with my S22U and ended up going with Dome Glass because the fingerprint sensor wouldn't work with the others. I experienced the same problem when I had my N20U. It looks like Samsung finally fixed that issue with the S24U.
I took off my film cuz it doesn't protect from drops. Totally not worth the amount of $ good thing it is was free. I prefer the tempered glass

I've explained this a few times in the video. If you want full protection, go for the tempered Glass, though Reflections come back. The film helps but doesn't fully protect.
Bestbuy have a glass screen protector by there brand insignia, also anti-reflective . The best 😊😊😊

Just use a wallet case I have for years never scratch my phone upgraded 24 ultra and got a new wallet case easy
I use anti reflective I like it
If we do not use Samsung's Official anti glare screen protector ( 2500 Rs on SAmsung official store ) and apply other brand tempered glass ( Spigen or ESR ) of any other brand then the anti glare screen will work properly….
( Means there will be no lighting or Relfectuon issue )

Dimensions of samsung's anti reflector protector are very poor, they are little short of covering whole display.
Would have appreciated if it covered whole display, it would have looked symmetrical.

Because Samsung doesn't specialize in making only accessories. Their main concern is the electronics. That's why 3rd party always does it better and cheaper... it's all they do.

I tried tempered glass, but after resetting the biometrics I couldn't get the fingerprints to work reliably. I did all of the reset options and then added the sensitivity. Back to film for me.
Which tempered Glass did you use that made it not work?
@@jimmyispromoI went to film not glass I couldn't get the Glass to work. The one that didn't work was Milomdoi Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus. The film I am using now is the AACL for Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus Screen Protector Film [Not Glass].
You have certainly used some cheap tempered glass.

Did you delete the prints and start over? You have to set it up AFTER the protector is on
