Been using this screen protector for 3 weeks now, no bubbles when installing and have been traveling alot with no scratches on it yet, and the anti-reflective is great, may 90-95% as effective as the real screen.😊
@@Bluey656 So far so good with the scratches, but I'm also not one to put my phone in the same pocket as my keys so that may help a little, and I see no negative effects on the screen quality, which as Samsung product for a Samsung product is no surprise.
There was a vertical section that you did not use the sticky tape on, which left the dust particle under the protector. And as someone already stated, the bottom portion of the protector was not applied correctly.
I have never been able to apply one of these film screen protectors without having at least one piece of dust trapped underneath. Next time, I'm going to try applying it outdoors.
The best advice I can give is to take a shower or run a warm shower and then apply the screen portector in your bathroom. Putting one outside is a disaster with all the wind blowing lol
The crease in the center is a thing. You can't push the crease out with the squeegie or anything. Glad it was a free option. Like he said, there are 2 because they know you're going to mess it up the first time. It'll do for. now.
I followed the Samsung video in the qr code and I managed to apply it perfectly without any bubble! The protector works and does the job very well. I used to have an amazon tempered glass one but it was so reflective that I bought the Samsung one.
At around 07:55 you made a mistake when you tried to stick the bottom side of protector. You pulled the upper side a bit and the air came in. Otherwise I belive it should have been completely bubble free. Now considering the actual review, it would be actually beneficial for a review of screen protector tthat you explained if touching the screen and sliding the finger is different than without the protector. Also, a test if the protector scratches from the finger nail, since that one isnt glass but foil as I understand. Lastly, that protector isnt taking full screen width and leaves a bit space which for some users makes unpleasant feeling when using side gestures or s Pen. I think those points would complete your review. Thanks for the video. 👍
I appreciate you making this video, but you didn't do it the right way my friend. You pulled the other half of the protector peel to fast and too abrupt, and that's why you got all those bubbles in the middle of your screen. You should have used the card to push the peel off gradually starting from the middle. Instead, you just removed the peel and placed the protector on the screen leaving some air bubbles there. It had nothing to do with dust because there was no dust there. Maybe you should have done some practice first 😊
Im using a ZAGG anti reflection Glass protector. Not sure about the "anti reflective" part.... but its a great screen protector. And the finger print scanner works perfectly. Honestly i scanned my finger print after i put the screen protector and increase the touch sensitivity. Works perfectly
They did not include the alcohol wipe deliberately cuz cleaning the original screen with alcohol will diminish the anti glare finishing ,just use water...
Finally, an experience that is similar to mine. I used the "free" antireflective screen protectors from Samsung and had basically the same results. There was a distinct horizontal line where the two pieces of plastic met and it showed in the film once installed. There were also bubbles galore. I didn't have much luck working the bubbles out to the side and could not get rid of that horizontal line in the middle. I still see it on yours while you were using the bubble remover tool. The horizontal line is a first for me. I have never seen it on any protectors I have installed over the years, both film and tempered glass. I peeled off the protector and threw the entire package in the trash. I ordered a couple of tempered glass screen protectors from Amazon. The first one had a privacy screen and looked good but I couldn't get my fingerprints to register on them, even after deleting the previous set and trying to re-register them. The second one worked fine but I have to moisten my finger before it registers with the sensor. I'm willing to live with that since I usually unlock my phones with a pin. Tempered glass protectors typically don't work well with Samsung's ultrasonic sensor. I had the Motorola Thinkphone previously and the fingerprint scanner worked flawlessly. Motorola uses an optical scanner, which sees through the tempered glass just fine and the fingerprint sensor on the Thinkphone worked every time. Unfortunately, the optical sensor is apparently less secure but the ultrasonic sensor has trouble sensing through glass. I am never enthusiastic about the free credits offered by Samsung for pre-ordering the new phones. Most of the stuff from Samsung is just useless to me. I can find much better products elsewhere, even if I have to pay for them. Free just isn't free. They come with frustration and disappointment.
I succeeded the second time without bubbles. After 2 weeks I had to change it because it is prone to scratching, I do not recommend it. I used glass from FIXED Armor. This is only a temporary solution.
My only issue is that the protector is too narrow on sides and when you swipe from left or right, the edges of protector feel very sharp . I tried to lift it up but it broke like tin foil
I wouldn't recommend talking while doing screen protector installation, youre just introducing airflow and dust on the phone while installation. Thats why there are some protectors that come with installation box modules where you will pull the plastics while the device is fully enclosed to the box.
I am using tempard glass protector with my S24 Ultra and my fingerprint scanner work just fine. You need to re register fingerprint after application that's it!
I had Samsung do it since they are trained for it and it was installed perfectly. Thr good thing is the package has two total so I still have a spare one that I can use if needed.
got my s24u screen protector replaced 3 times, it was always forming bubbles somehow while applying. It was a professional who was applying it. I guess there is some issue with the samsung's anti-reflective screen guard itself. besides it doesnot cover the entire screen which look weird for a hefty price like that, i feel its a total rip off.
The middle bubbles will disappear within 24 hrs on own.. its still not worthy of the price though (2500/- INR is too much for this 😢😢) i wish they give it stock with the phone in future
That line across the middle sucked the excitement right out of me. for $25 this method of applying it on the phone is a L, Samsung. Now I'm really interested to see how Flolab's screen protector installation goes. This one by Samsung screams cheaply made. Like you said, it would be best if they installed it on the screen themselves since their stand alone screen protector turned out like this 😬
The instructions says (talking about the line in the middle) that the line will dissappear through time. Well, jus did it now, perfect, no bubbles but yes, the line in the middle. Just because we are on 2025, they are selling "cheap" all the accessories and costed me around 10 bucks. If I were paying 25, I'd be furious because I don't think that the line will dissappear like magic, only with time.
Very odd applicator by Samsung. The bottom of the screen protector needs to be wiped down and dust applicator used before putting onto the tray. Otherwise, the blue screen carries dust and puts it on the screen AFTER you have cleaned the phone screen. I had to use the second screen immediately after the first. Not intuitive and not nearly as good as “Z” screen protectors. Thanks for the video as it was very useful with such an odd installation method.

I’m glad it’s worked out for you!!!
Is it self healing?
@@Bluey656 No, its a hard plastic, it will chip if hit near the edge of the protector.
@@sawood1031 I see, what about scratches? And does it affect the screen quality in your experience?

Doubling down on anti glare! What a move by Samsung! May grab one for the S24+ if they make one for it. Solid video 😎

I applied the screenprotector (tempered glass) before installing the phone. Worked just fine and only 1 fingerprint installation 👍
for the bottom part it would have been better to remove the adapter and push down with squeegee and the middle part the lines disappear the next day.
7:50 why would you do that ?
Especially before you did perfect on top.
I didn't intend to 😭
Okey. There is defference beetween THIS screen protector and standart protector in usual shops???

Unfortunately You didn't remove dust from protective cover of screen protector before applying - this is a reason why You had some many bubbles.
My only issue is that the protector is too narrow on sides and when you swipe from left or right, the edges of protector feel very sharp . I tried to lift it up but it broke like tin foil
Exactly my experience
Yep I had same issue, I hated it. So I replaced it with tempered glass instead which is much better though it is a bit more reflective.
@@joesiah841 is the fingerprint working? What brand of glass did you get?

What about a liquid screen protector? I heard the regular screen protectors are ruining the anti glare.
I just got the liquid protector wasn't sure about it I'm still doing research
How is it @@camrooon4130
Alcohol wipe not given bcos if u rub alcohol over it the screen will lose its anti glare properties
The Flolab came with one.

So, Samsung doesn't make a glass screen protector that works with their fingerprint scanner?
They don't make a glass one period to my knowledge
Solid video, my man
After doing the top part, you should remove the attachment before doing the bottom part.
You didn't use the squeegee for the lower part of the screen, resulting in some air bubbles in the middle.
I installed 4 of these, 2 on S24 2 on S24 Ultra. All 4 had bubbles, dust and or creases.
4 of them!!! That's insane man I am sorry you had to deal with that!

What about impact resistance?? Is it better after the screen protector?
Not in my testing. I've actually removed it for the Whitestone dome.
@@TechKingMike for any specific reason we should know?

I thought the 25 Ultra had a flat display for a true glass protector.
Really like it on mine but the install was a bit of a pain
As I'm sure the video proves me too lol
Most bubbles on screen protectors disappear in about a day, including Samsung's.
Zagg has the best screen protector for s24 ultra. It’s expensive but very good.
It works perfect 👌

These protector are so thin and doesn't come with solution. So it's very difficult to have a perfect installation without any bubbles.
Couldn’t make it work. Ended up going with Spigen Easy Fit.
