Upon installation, theres a middle line but after 3 days it disappeared. Its plastic but it looks like glass. Slightly retains the anti reflective properties unlike other tempered glass. Fingerprint works and and smooth spen operarion as well.
I was surprised with this screen protector. I got it as a freebie from Samsung with my s24 ultra. It installed flawlessly. What surprised me is how this feels. It feels like glass. So my Dome Whitestone became a back up. After a week I still don't have any scratches unlike some off brand film screen protectors. It still has a little bit of anti reflection. And it's oloephobic coating is excellent.
I tried other screen protectors for other phones in the s24 lineup, the ones that are often advertised. They failed horribly. Either imperfections in the glass or just random dust. When I’d lift the edge to get the little piece of dust, the corner would no longer adhere. I got this one for my ultra and while I was afraid to mess up the installation, I got it on the first try. I think the case will be enough to protect the screen.
You should slice off from middle of the screen protector before apply it. Either top part or bottom. Now half is actual screen and half is with this screen protector Now you can compare the anti reflective function of the actual screen and with this protector under same sun or same lighting conditions Would be a much better video and stands out from sea of same installation videos. My 2 cents
First of all the screen protector is anti glare, compare it directly with a non s24 ultra phone and you will see the difference, its not as anti reflective as having no screen protector on the s24 ultra though. As for install I don't have one single bubble or blemish. There was a line in the middle for a day, then it disappeared and never came back. You need to have a clean environment to install the screen protector, and when you clean the phone screen, dont do anything above the screen. When you are preparing the screen protector, dont do it above the phone like this video.
I received the anti-reflective protector with the vegan leather case. Both came free with the Samsung credit as part of the pre-order process. My experience with installing the protector is completely different from yours. I followed the instructions carefully but the results were a distinct horizontal line in the middle where the two pieces of plastic met and bubbles galore. These bubbles just would not disappear. As others have commented, the "free" Samsung protectors are garbage. I ordered a tempered glass protector from Amazon, peeled off the Samsung protector, and threw the package in the trash. The tempered glass went on perfectly and I worked the bubbles away. I've installed lots of protectors over the years, both film and tempered glass, and can honestly say Samsung's is the worse by far. I have never seen a horizontal line on any I have installed before so this is a first. I don't know what materials Samsung used but it is just trash compared to even the cheapest protectors from other manufacturers.
It works realy good, fingerprints are easily wiped off, feels almost like glass, however I managed to perfectly align it,but the edges don't stick to the screen because the screen protector is thick. The screen has a slight curve. Also when swipe from sides your finger catches the protector, very sharp. Not the best design but it is good quality. Fingerprint scaner works without the need to increase touch sensitivity in settings or to re-register your fingerprint
@CG-ql5rr at this time no, and I just spent the last week traveling, so lots of varied environments. I'm also using the clear Torras Pstand Magsafe case that has just a small enough of lip that when face down the screen doesn't touch.
I got this in the mail yesterday and tried installing it today and I ended up trashing it. First install resulted in a bubble that wouldnt go away. Second install the screen protector had visible scratches on it after install. Definitely wish i would have saved my money. Also to anyone really wanting a screen protector keep in mind basically whatever you go with is going to negate that awesome glare reduction you get on this phone.

Nice one, I've used a couple of tempered glass products but have had problems with the fp sensor, so this might just do the job for me. On a side note, you say you have one guide? and two screen protectors, how does the guide stick to fit the second protector? Just wondering 🤔😗 tnx for uploading 👍
Thank you I appreciate that so the screen is anti-reflective itself perfect I will definitely stop saying that cuz I have been seen that everywhere next time grab me and shake me
I know how everyone refers to the Gorilla Armor glass as the reason why it is antireflective but I'm 99% sure it is a surface coating that they added, not unlike the inside of driving sunglasses.
I ordered the Samsung vegan leather case with the anti-reflecting protectors as part of the free Samsung credit in the pre-order process. I installed one of them and carefully followed the instructions. Afterwards, I saw a distinct horizontal line in the film where the two plastic pieces met and bubbles galore. The bubbles and line would not go away no matter how I pressed on the film. I have installed numerous screen protectors over the years and confidently say I have never seen a worse one than Samsung's. The horizontal line is a first for me. I ordered a tempered glass protector from Amazon and trashed the one from Samsung. That one went on perfectly with no bubbles after a little bit of pressing. I suppose the "free" offer gave Samsung the go-ahead to send us garbage. Free is definitely not free from Samsung. It comes with disappointment and frustration.
Hated it. I use side screen gestures and now my fingers catch on the screen protector edges. Ruins the awesome new anti glare screen, its supposed to be more scratch resistant anyway so I ended up taking it off. Glad I didnt pay for it, was included with my phone order. Dont even think about installing a tempered glass screen protector, the screen becomes a mirror.
I agree I hated that I would hit the edge of the screen protector every time I finally took it off I also enjoyed the nose screen protector on this device like no other device because of the anti-relective coating is just the superb
Does this still makes sense in an Ultra? Ultra already has anti-reflection. It would make sense on S24/+. You can't tell because S24 Ultra already has it. A little bit of research goes a long way lol.
Cause if he use another screen protector it will reflect the light and you'll lose this advantage So you need an anti reflective screen protector too Unless you wanna use it without it.
The screen is so bright that glass doesn't have an effect unless the phone is off.. I put the amFilm Glass protector on my S24 Ultra & it perfectly lined up easily in seconds & 2pk cost $9 TPU Screen protectors are killa, though! They will help from scratches & I kept one on my S22 Ultra the whole time that I had it & I did drop it once Screen side down on rocks one morning! All I saw was a shattered display. Then I pulled that TPU away & that display was like brand new 🤟 Made me a believer, AVG TPU, but I don't think they make them for the S24 yet.
I got one for free with my S24 Ultra and I personally found it to be total trash. It made my device feel cheap like a piece of plastic and it left residue markings every time my s-pen slit across it. I also found installation cumbersome and unnecessarily difficult as no matter how hard you try you get a line that does somewhat disappear over time. Get a $5 fully adhesive tempered glass screen protector as flat screens are easier to adhere to.
@@androidstud No! But still worth the purchase! My screen is safe in the event of a drop on its face or it hits the corner of an edged item. I had a similar screen protector to what you're showing on my Note 20 Ultra, it hit and edged item and f*cked up the screen. Tempered glass is what im on these days, this phone cost to much not to go with security just because its not reflective!
honestly they all are gonna be reflective i wouldnt use a non glass one though because impact can still break the screen if you have glass on top of it instead of that film that glass will break the film anything can really cause impact to a film and still break the glass under it i just pick up cheap ass mr shield ones @@androidstud

Versus Glass Protectors, it does Anti-Reflecting better. I just wish there's a glass version of that and for the whole screen if possible.
That would be legit
