Here in MN it’s not very fun for me to decorate for spring at Easter time because we’re still buried in snow and cold! It just kills the vibe for me! 😂😂😂
I don’t decorate for Easter but I usually celebrate it with a family meal (my parents, all my sibs, their spouses and niblings) oh! And definitely by scooping up all the discounted chocolate eggs afterward 😂
What a fun video, Emily! I’m going to use the hankies idea tomorrow. I have that vintage gardening book too, although I only dream of gardening. I thought it would be fun to print off sheets of local things that grow here in Arizona. There’s a lot of people on IG who post lovely things about that. And then stick them in my binder in case that imaginary gardening Greenthumb comes to fruition.😂 By the way, since you have a lot of access to thrifting, I’m trying to figure out the name of some thing. Where I live now, it is hard to come by vintage good stuff for a good price! In the 70s my grandma made me something that was popular called a sugar egg. A tiny diorama. I still have it! I’m trying to find the kind of spring miniatures that would’ve been inside with no luck. Any idea what they might be called? Have you ever seen them? Just cute miniatures for any kind of assemblage art in general…
Hahahaha yeah I've got a bunch of stuff saved for my imaginary garden too... 🤣 So I don't know what they would be called but I'll give you a suggestion for what you could substitute. They look to be about the size of vintage cake toppers! I collect those and they're so cute to decorate with. Here's a link to some spring ones and if they have the little plastic stick that goes into the cake, you can just snip it off with scissors and put the figure in the sugar egg. rstyle.me/+vUzPwy_Y5QZ4p-NSfy7eJw
Fun Video! I just love your creativity! That watering can brought me right back to my childhood home (Rochester, MN) and the watering can I had. (It's long gone now) My daughters' nursery was Beatrix Potter. All you've shown is spring and not Easter so much. Bunnies, chicks and cute things like that can be up all summer long. The way it's going here I might see the grass by mid June! LOL Hugs from MN
A vintage watering can and beach pail are on my bucket list. I decorate with vintage planters, cards, paper machete eggs, and Easter baskets. I love your Gurly candles. The colors are so vibrant. They usually fade don’t they? By the way, the color top you are wearing is one of my favorite colors for spring!
I want a vintage beach pail too!!! I dream of owning one 🥹 I think I do have gurley candles that have faded but most of them, like my Santa ones, have stayed quite vibrant 😄 thanks for sharing what you like to decorate with ☺️🌸
Bunnies. I have bunnies all over the house. And chicken stuff because I have chickens and I love them.
Bless you, Buddy.
I crocheted colorful Easter eggs and my daughters and I all have baskets full.
I love California poppies. I am always on the hunt for vintage poppy items. ❤
Vintage plastic Easter candy containers from the 50s and 60s and vintage Easter postcards especially with chickens
Ooooh I have to look up the plastic Easter candy containers because I’m not sure what those look like… thanks for he tip 😄
I do have my crazy daisy pyrex displayed on my dining room hutch!
my sister loves beatrix potter! our dogs are named beatrix and potter💖
Omg no way 😭😭😭😭😭😭 How sweet!!!

Omg yes getting clearance candy is also the highlight of Easter for me 😂😂😂😂
I love everything you suggested and I especially love tin items with sweet bright lithographs ❤🌸
Omg I’m a sucker for those too!!! 🥹🥲
How do you like to decorate for spring? What are your favorite vintage items that you like to incorporate? 🍃🌻🌈
