I've been playing Sims 3 since I was 12, and I've always loved building houses like hobby for relaxing after work, and now I turned 24 just yesterday, and playing again sims3, only now I learned that it is possible to do with stairs, omfg... I've done it manually all my life with the lowering tool....fck, thank you 😂
wow... the last time I played the sims 3 myself was probably like 6-7 years ago and at that time I never built any professional houses that got even close to your amazing houses... now I don't have the game anymore but I LOVE watching your videos because they're SO relaxing and entertaining^^ with this video I realized how damn complicated it actually is to build houses that are more interesting and real, like with walkout basements and all that 😅
Im so glad ye still be doing sims 3. this be just grand and na hard at all ta be understanding. Last night, I watched ye video on how ta do thee split level and freeze space.... that was nice as well. all other frig-gen faeries are jumping on ta sims 4. and that be ok but nay fer get about players still on sims 3.
can you do a video on how to add u-shaped stairs from the walkout basement up to the main level of the house and another leading upstairs to the second floor of the house?
I think it's because the foundation is too short. When I turned off constrain floor elevation I could place my walls, but the foundation pushed up with it. Try replacing your foundation higher and it might fix itself. Or you could just use constrain floor elevation to fix it like I did 🤷🏾♀️
Great tutorial! This method is much easier than using CFE.
This is way simpler than the method I normally use. Thanks!
Thank you, this is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm learning a lot from your other build-mode videos as well. Many thanks.

I am so happy this doesn't require cheats! I can't wait to try it out. 😊
Wow thanks i'm still playing Sims 3
Very helpful! Thanks! ^^

awesome tutorial
Thanks for the easy tutorial!
So I've got my basement level, but it won't let me connect a wall to a foundation. It keeps telling me that the area is covered by a floor tile.
Mine says the same thing

Try going down 4 stairs.
The re-leveling it, and then doing the stair again. It seems like sometimes the way it auto-levels the corner piece is off slightly.
Does anyone find they can’t dance to a stereo in the lower level of a house built this way?
what does the basement tool do tho? xD is it redundant?
what console or pc are you using? i dont have so many features in the bottom left
It won’t let me add more than 1 stairs
do u have any videos that would help building a castle over water LOL
Can this be done on a console?
yay! Did you not ever get into the sims 4?
A little to fast
