Super cool I have the blue and the white one waiting on another blue one V2 And the new silver eagle appreciate you sharing
Thanks! They are so fun, we have a few more on the way too. So inexpensive and compact its hard to just have one!
Hi, are the files for the body clips available? I would like to flip my axels for a lower cg and more stability for a fpv setup
Hi sorry no they weren’t strong enough to move forward with. After that I designed a chassis and mounts that allowed for the portal flip instead.

Where did you buy the bearings to put back into the truck? or what brand name? Also same question for the shock oil? Thank you
Bearing kit from FMS. 15 weight silicone shock oil from my local shop.
@@crawlersncustoms thank you, those wheels and tires look amazing too
*Really want to make a mud truck out of this to use in our mud pit.
Why don't you sell the raised body mounts
We’re working on it 🤛🏼
Can I put these j concepts wheels on my max smasher with no modifications? They look sweet!
Yup. Straight bolt on. You don’t even need to glue the tires(at least with the stock motor). I’ll have the high speed in soon.
@@crawlersncustoms that high speed really ticked me off. I got the fms one and the brass pinion was too close to the case and it grinded the shit out of the mounting plate. Took it and put it in the trash and ordered another cheap brand from Aliexpress with a heat sink included
@@goldenmanuever1176 thanks for the heads up. I’ll look out for that and report back.
I bought that same motor off of Aliexpress I bet. It's super fast.
@@Captain_Tool_Vicariousis that the 40,000 RPM one?
How do you get the lights to work?
Press the bind button on the tx after you turn on the tx and truck.
Curious of what the benefits are of flipping the portals, is it just to lower the truck ? Great vid👍👍
Lower Cg for racing. Keeps it from flipping over in the corners compared to the stock height trucks.
@@crawlersncustoms got it, thanks!!!👍👍
With the V2 where were the bushings at?
In the axles.
@@crawlersncustoms thank you. So are bushings ok or should I change them to ball bearings? Would you happen to have the size on them? I don't need the entire FMS ball bearing kit.
@@jj78rcclub I’ve been running the bushings so far but haven’t opened the axles. I’ll do that video soon. The truck has been really good. I ran it hard last night against 12-14 other trucks on our MT track and won.
Looks like some of the changes that people were asking for.
FMS has been fairly receptive to input. Hard to beat the fun per dollar aspect of this truck too!
would you like to sell a couple of those spacers for the smasher
Are you going to sell those 3d printed body lifts
Yes. We pretty much did a no holds bared night of bashing and racing and they’ve held up well. So we’ll tweak the design and get it up on the site soon.
Super cool I’ll be interested in the body lifts
So where did you get the wheels and tires?
Jcon wheels and tires.
Just found you 👍 where can we get those yummy wheels 😋
Jcons 🤛🏼
UM Why did you Flip the Portals? Try the shock mod first
It’s a quick and drastic CG lowering. I’m working on two builds now.
@@crawlersncustoms I Don't think its worth it. Wanna Lower the CG? Pop off the tire, wrap 8 inches of solder around the rim, and glue the bead back.
Removing ground clearance Sound's silly to me.
But you got to do what you got to do racing i Guess.
@@kanedaadenak7088 adding weight to the wheels won’t help for racing. (Though, yes it will move the Cg down). It will add a huge strain to the driveline. For MT racing ground clearance isn’t as important as getting the truck low so it can corner, accelerate and brake quickly without ending upside down. The low Cg helps when landing large jumps as well. My smasher lands like a cat.
The lcg carbon chassis is going through revisions so it can be run with portal flip or standard axle set ups.
@@crawlersncustoms I Hear that all the time, about strain on the driveline, Ive been breaking RC Cars for over 37 years, and all i have to say, Is Your probably right about about minny MT not needing ground clearance. You also might be wrong about the extra unsprung weight in the wheels, Theres a reason the gears in the portals are metal. Honestly the flipped portals look a little more real. I still think a little weight in the wheels would do you better.
Unless its against the rules.
And 10 weight shock oil lol
And some that people wasnt
