If you now open the Discord app; you can rotate your phone 180° Degrees (UpsideDown); and when you go back to your homescreen it will remain that way, even if you open other vertical apps) You can now use your phone upside-down.
I find it odd that this only happens in Discord, as far as I can tell. Wonder if any other apps allow 180° rotation. Kinda wish you could do it anywhere; it's handy for when the phone's plugged in and you don't want the plug jutting out the bottom while using it.
Most "New" android features have been on Samsung phones like 1-2 years before Google releases those as new features. Buy one of those over prized phones and get those features.
There are tons of good cheap phones you can get. I got a Motorola g7 64gb phone for about $150 from Amazon and I saw one just now selling for $160. If you want to pay the extra 40 there's a $200 moto g7 plus. If you do get a new phone don't worry about the storage cause you can just get an SD card.

Yeah I'm glad I'm not only one that noticed
It was pretty ironic 😂
Just now just this moment watching this video I learned of this awesome shaking thing. Thanks Marques.
I miss the interesting names.
like Android 11.0 Lasagna?😂
I would like something like. Android lava or quartz or lightning
Ive been with mkbhd since the earlier days (the nokia era) and, still here and will be here in the future until youtube exists nevertheless. The best youtube channel so far for tech videos.

8:29 This just in, MKBHD speculates HTC phone might get Android 11 !!!!
Looking slow for that
he does not.
Wait htc is still making phones ????
@Dark Light *likely
@@ucarst ofcourse he does not mean that, probably I should have added a 😉 emoji to make myself clear
Watching the android 11 review on my tab a 2016 running android 12L
Who would have thought that android can change so much in just one year
1:22 Samsung Phones can already do that
Just make sure that this Feature is turned on in Home Screen settings
(P.S. If you now open the Discord app; you can rotate your phone 180° Degrees (UpsideDown); and when you go back to your homescreen it will remain that way, even if you open other vertical apps)
You can now use your phone upside-down.
Wow that's cool with the discord app
@Adam A-K I'm now typing this with my phone upside-down xD
I find it odd that this only happens in Discord, as far as I can tell. Wonder if any other apps allow 180° rotation. Kinda wish you could do it anywhere; it's handy for when the phone's plugged in and you don't want the plug jutting out the bottom while using it.
The current Pixel can do it too... I feel like they just didn't focus on it?
@@antwon97 Can confirm as I own a Pixel 3, it has been available at least since Android 10
Rotating your homescreen has been a thing for a while actually.
Really??? I never had it lol maybe some phones don't have it. Either way I'm never using it
Samsung's one UI has most of these already, that's why it feels familiar.
Ya from Android 9 version
I think he meant turning on auto-rotate without having to pull down the tool bar. No ?

Thanks for showing me some good voice commands. I was avoiding the update for fear of more bugs but so far no issues. 😀
@4:55 "Go Home"
Damn MKBHD, Cold as ice.

They have launched a new phone.
He may be testing it.

Most "New" android features have been on Samsung phones like 1-2 years before Google releases those as new features.
Buy one of those over prized phones and get those features.
@@0hjaa3.06 crying in Galaxy S10e
There are tons of good cheap phones you can get. I got a Motorola g7 64gb phone for about $150 from Amazon and I saw one just now selling for $160. If you want to pay the extra 40 there's a $200 moto g7 plus. If you do get a new phone don't worry about the storage cause you can just get an SD card.
SANDO22 that’s a good phone bru wish I had it
the new notification configuration & power button add features are my favourites so far!
That fancy screen on and off animation of the always on display has been there since the android 10 update on my MI A3. (Just wanted to share this info) Love your work bruh!

O.k., I am loving the new voice activation feature of the Android 11 update, it looks very cool, that one would be my favorite.
It's super useful if you are cooking or working on your car and your hands are occupied or dirty, except when you want to write "delete all text."
