- A fellow forum member asked for a little more information about my home made check maker. So here is my answer. For an added bonus, I will give away 500 .30 caliber gas checks to someone that comments " I am in" in the comment section bellow.

I am in Extreme NEED of a .30 cal and a .223 gas check maker ! I am Physically Disabled now so a Extremely limited income. And the Prices that I have seen online are out of my price range unfortunately from companies that I have checked so far ! I would be Extremely interrested in Purchasing check makers for those sizes and once I can I would be ordering Other sizes !
Hi. Sorry to hear about your circumstances. Unfortunately I am not a machinist. Nor do I generally build stuff to sell. I am a tinkerer with a cheap chinese lathe that I beat into submission to do my bidding. If my skills and tools were of higher quality I would have no issue building you one. Regards

Hello, may I ask how thick is the copper tape used for punching bullet casings? If it is too thin, how to process the bottom edge of the tail?
These are not bullet casings. They are gas checks. Material is about .361mm thick

im interested to buy 1000 gas cheks for my 270 cast bullets
I make 6.5mm gas checks but haven't in a while. Betwen work, upgrades to the house and projects at the remote cabin I don't think there is any time left to do stuff for others. Sorry
