I kinda like how the other secret bosses had moving stages and stuff but this guy? This guy doesn’t, he literally is the most animated seemingly for now yet has the most lifeless environment of all.

Jevil and Spamton both had carnival ride gimmicks in their fights, a merry-go-round and a rollercoaster. A cowboy could be a bull ride machine. Jevil and Spamton were also both based on toys, being bobble heads and puppets respectively. A toy cowboy doll with a drawstring speech box (like something based on Woody) would be a good fit. The speech box would be an interesting parallel to Kris, where neither of them can always choose what they say. Toby had a weird phase of posting Toy Story shitposts on his Tumblr in 2012, when he started getting ideas for Deltarune. As a writer, whenever I get a random idea for my story that reminds me of something else, I immediately take to shitposting. I see those random memes and I see a mind reeling. An old black and white western that got canceled would fall in line with the theme of secret bosses being ‘discarded’ items, the joker card and spam emails. Toby literally referenced westerns getting cancelled in one of the newsletters. I’m losing my fucking mind.

Purple should be the next soul color up, where in Undertale we were caught in a spider web. A cowboy could use a similar gimmick with a lasso.
Jevil and Spamton both had carnival ride gimmicks in their fights, a merry-go-round and a rollercoaster. A cowboy could be a bull ride machine.
Jevil and Spamton were also both based on toys, being bobble heads and puppets respectively. A toy cowboy doll with a drawstring speech box (like something based on Woody) would be a good fit.
The speech box would be an interesting parallel to Kris, where neither of them can always choose what they say.
Toby had a weird phase of posting Toy Story shitposts on his Tumblr in 2012, when he started getting ideas for Deltarune. As a writer, whenever I get a random idea for my story that reminds me of something else, I immediately take to shitposting. I see those random memes and I see a mind reeling.
An old black and white western that got canceled would fall in line with the theme of secret bosses being ‘discarded’ items, the joker card and spam emails.
Toby literally referenced westerns getting cancelled in one of the newsletters.
