It is notable how "Power of SPAMTON" (which basically was the old Spamton NEO fight theme) references The World Revolving in a WAY more direct way, both Freedom and Don't Forget motifs, even using the same square arpeggio this song had at 6:43. Happy 9th Undertale anniversary everyone!

honestly, I really like Power of SPAMTON! I'd take Big Shot over it any day, of course, but it was a nice surprise to see what Big Shot would be if it was purely going off of Power of NEO in its concept. the original extended Power of NEO for the fight was pretty neat as well! wasn't what I fully expected for an extended Power of NEO, but that may just be because I've listened to so many interpretations from other people... for some other thoughts, the original Queen Battle theme sounds like something someone would make for a Deltaswap take... and today is the day I learnt that Rouxls Battle theme isn't fanmade. truly some great songs in here, and I loved looking through all the concepts and unfinished things in the newsletter.
Power of SPAMTON sounds like a Snowgrave/Weird route Spamton theme. Obviously I doubt Toby thought of the Weird route when he composed Power of SPAMTON but the way the song is composed really gives off final stance vibes (also probably cause Power of Neo is made for Genocide). Not to say I would like Power of SPAMTON! over Big Shot in Snowgrave as it's clearly unfinished and a bit messy at times, but if Toby does give Snowgrave Spamton a unique theme I can imagine him basing it off of Power of SPAMTON
Seeing the Queen concept art and some unused themes made me think about how cool a DeltaFell AU would go if done correctly, a Susie trying to show everyone that violence is not always the answer (and her textbox sprite being a white one instead of a red one), telling us "Our choices DO matter" at the start, the happy castle town used for a Victorian era style castle town, and Queen actually being the ruthless dictator that Jevil warned us of (and King post-chapter2), a fangame about deltafell with spritework similar to TS!Underswap would be really good
Hearing the Freedom AND Don’t Forget motifs in POWER OF SPAMTON made me so happy you have no idea. I loved The World Revolving back in middle school, so this just takes me back to simpler times.
I can see, or I guess hear, why Toby liked “Queen Battle” so much! Deltaswap AUs gonna be eating good with that one. Also, it’s amazing how natural the unfinished pieces feel, like you wouldn’t know they weren’t compete past a certain point had Toby not said anything! Honestly Big Shot seems even more seruous in comparison, like, Power of Spamton feels like it was made as just a spoof, and BIG SHOT is the REAL [Number 1 Rated Salesman 1997] THEME!
I think he mentioned about how more sentimental it feels. Big Shot feels like a intense battle against this insane salesman, while this one feels more like fighting a broken darkner who are taking their final chance to get their hands on their goal.

I think it’s cool to hear a full version of power of Neo and a beta version of big shot. Beta big shot is quite good! Think it’s interesting how its freedom part is way more like Jevil’s ending prt, including the don’t forget as well. Gonna assume he changed it so it didn’t overlap with Jevil as much. I mean it’s the same 2 motifs that end the song in the same way. Glad he did something more creative! It sounds good, but it was a good call.
