Not sure if this is something you'll ever see Richard but if you do, know I love you and I owe a lot of thanks to you for inspiring me to who I am. Thank you.
That was an interesting take on the Rocky Horror as an iteration of the fairy tales of Adam & Eve and Hansel & Gretel. There seem to be universal themes in folklore and mythology. The exile into a strange world, left to survive or perish is one of those themes. In my opinion, Richard O'Brien's explanation is right on the money.
I've been a fan of his since the age of ten, I'm forty now and he looks you ger than me and my friends. More power to Richard, you brought a lot of joy and and wonder to this world. I watched rocky horror live twice with my big sis, such a laugh with great performers and a fun audience.
The SONGS ARE GREAT! THE CHARACTERS AND THE MARVELOUS CAST THAT WAS BROUGHT TOGETHER, PERFECT! SO MUCH LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE! I've seen this (in the 1970's) 18 times! Every time its been fantastic!! Thank you Richard!
Ha ha ha. If anyone who thinks they know me had any idea as to how I felt about the rocky horror picture show and anything else they'd kill me (they believe in things I do not) Anyway I've seen to much of the real world so thank you Richard for not being a playable twat. Sorry my dad was from Bradford so I acquired some slang. I would love to know how it feels to have brought so much to the table. With all my heart thank you for being able to take me to somewhere else... Thank you. By the way, Dark City was so goddamn good I can't begin to make up words to complement you. Hey... Don't die you silly creative man. We need you now more than ever.
'The success of the movie has done me some good. It hasn't made me a terribly wealthy person; it's just given me more choices.' - R O'Brien.
great to see Richard looking so well :-)
luceatluxvestra1 I hope I look this good at his age
djpaul146 me to. I'm 37 at the moment.

Don't Dream it.....Be It
What a lovely person. The level of self-awareness is astounding. Riff raff you are awesome!
yup i want this but also it would maybe be a curse
That high quality behind the scenes footage is beautiful.
Yes, this parallel is correct: Adam & Eve = Hansel & Gretel = Brad & Janet. O'Brien is brilliant.
Richard you are a god/goddess sent from heaven.
The music/songs in Rocky Horror are absolutely phenomenal. Brilliant writing and arrangements.👍

Adam and Eve is not a "fairytale", sinner. It is history, the account of Creation and our Lord.
@@adamo1528 you are a sinner too, self righteous i see, repent

He looks abnormally youthful for his age. Good for him!

I am a huge fan of Richard Obrien. I like to meet him in person.
RATNA ROY You are not the only one.
Richard is a genius! Too humble. I love him! And thank him for his great gift to the world!
Reminds me of Liz Taylor from American Horror Story.
I won't be surprised if Ryan was a Rocky Fan
'Hello' that voice ❤
1:06 Is that fellow presenter of the Crystal Maze Edward Tudor-Pole? Was in the Rocky Horror Musical at some point?
I love the rocky Horror show.. 💖💖💖💖
Loved Rocky horror and shock treatment!
Greatest stageshow known to man.
Easily top 5 best musicals ever.
he was gender fluid before there were words for it
The way he describes it seems like he’s more nonbinary but doesn’t know the word for it.

Omg he's almost 80.... I'm so sad that we can't live forever.
For me he will always be Mr. Hand.
Richard will always be one of my favourite darlings, best man...composer!!!!!!!!!!!!
It will be a dark day when we lose Richard O'Brien
Umm..the most brilliant person ever!! Sexiest too. .and gorgeous..ugh..I love this man.
Richard is a very intelligent individual interesting creative and bighearted. ❤😂
Its a shame when Richard talks about not being smart. I get the impression thats really not correct.
Seems like an example of the Dunning-Kruger effect. He’s smart enough to be aware of how ignorant he really is.
When's he going to release the amateur performing rights for RHPC?
cute interviewer! (i'd make a man out of him!) ;-) 💋
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
He's a freak...
I'll join his tribe anytime
