it might be a good idea to remove the masking tape from the two capacitors and the microcontroller ship also putting the keyboard on top of a microfiber towel improve the sound dramatically in my opinion another improvement would be to put masking tape on the backside of the space bar and make sure there is no tape around the stems thank you so much for the video
Okay so I have a question I have this same keyboard and I don't want to change or lube the keys just want to add foam and tape so can I unscrew the base while the switches are still attached ? Or removing the switches is must? Cause I'm really having a hard time while pulling the switched and I've already damaged two. Thanks!
You can do foam under the PCB and tape without removing switches, but if you want foam between the PCB and the plate (the part of the case that's on top and that has to be screwed in with the PCB) you would need to remove the switches. Hope this helps
I did it without removing the switches I also didn't remove all the keycaps I just removed the keycaps around the screws then I used tweezers to take out the board ruclips.net/video/Ladr4PBcHX0/видео.html

hi! yes i did and washed it thoroughly to ensure the paint would stick well to it even without the primer. but for best results, you can use some primer.
don't use that paper tape , there are other thin film which is better than that, though pcb is not that but with the environment it will wrinkled soon, with the moisture , better to use something that don't lose their shape memory
I love how good even the stocks sound
it sounds terrible stock, i have one

Where did you get the case?
Do you know if Akko v3 switches fit on that keyboard?
Yes
Man in my k617 the screw are so are to take out bruh my finger died from pulling it with a screw driver
i have the redragon k617 and i have a question. does the keycaps cover the rgb?
yes most doubleshot pbt covers rgb. it kinda makes your lighting bleed on the sides of the keycaps
does masking tape work fine for the tape mod for this keyboard? i am gonna attempt my first tape mod on it so can you guys tell me?
if you are going to do it at least make sure to remove the tape from the 2 capacitors and from the micro controller ship (small black
square ship)

did u sand paper the case before painting it?
Yes i did it today and sandpaper is a must

You could use "Akko CS" switches for a nicer sound!
2hich ones?
@@partapsahi3133 I prefer Akko CS Matcha Green. It sounds similar to Akko CS Jelly Black
cream yellows are pretty cheap and they give a really good sound
What stabs did you used here?? Sounds great!!
stock i think
😭😭😭 Why does my stock not sou like that
This keyboard needs a better plate to sound decent
What mouse are you using?
i am planning to do this same thing wish me luck please
does this keyboard have print screen function?
Windows+shift+s
sadly it does not have. although you can use the key combination windows + shift + s.
You didn't put a hole in PE foam for each keys?
Didn't have to. The switch pins pierce through the PE foam by themselves.
wont covering tis much hold the heat inside the board
can i have the link for your mouse pad?
how long did uh have ?? and how is the run??
