I found a list of compatible switches for the Outemu sockets which are Akko CS, Gazzew Boba U4/Bobagum, Glorious Pandas, KTT, Tecsee, Fekker and of course Outemu. Even with the weird hotswap sockets there are pretty good options.
Guys this keyboard is a godsend it is the best you will ever find for the price range. I have bought multiple keyboards and this beats a few that have a higher price. I am not sure if the keys come pre-lubed but they definitely sound and feel like it for mine.
Funny story, I was here trying to figure out what new keeb I wanted to buy because my Windows key wasn't working. I'd tried EVERYTHING...reboot, went through about 7 different methods I found in articles online to no avail. Then...I heard you say, Fn Win locks the Windows key for gaming. FIXED. Thanks, my guy, Cly!
It's such a useful feature, but it can definitely lead to a headache if you forget you have it enabled. Mine is locked 90% of the time now that my cat has learned to hit it when she wants something.
NGL i was surprised that it didnt come in blue since Fizz is blue. Still, im very happy with my pink and white model. The backspace is a little stiffer than id like though because i use my pinky yo hit it. Overall its a really good keyboard though i will miss the print screen button.
I got mine today and am pretty happy with it (don't really have high standards tho since it's my first mechanical keyboard) I have to say tho that mine sounds quite hollow and metallic. Any tips on how to fix that?
a pretty simple fix I know of is taking the board apart and putting dampening foam at the bottom of the case. There might be a few other factors that can effect it though, like the keycaps or even the surface you type on.
The thing I like about this keyboard the most, is how ecstatic I'll feel when I make the switch back to a 100% keyboard after a frustrating and unproductive year of relying on the Fn key to do everything.
I got mine just a few days earlier and swap out the red switches with Akko Sponges (same as the Blue Jelly) and it was great overall, also mine's black and used red keycaps for the black-red color scheme
in reply to red dragon's peripheral names in minute 7:00 they named their new keyboards from League of Legends Characters, specially Fizz. They have Ashe, Jax, Elise, Zed and more.
When I purchased the K530 brown switches, I never looked back at any other keyboard. The fact you said it's much lighter turned me off. I don't like lightweight keyboards. The k530 is a heavy-duty KB and feels great to the touch when typing. Lighter keyboards for some reason don't feel right when typing. There's a slight bounce to the keyboards or the feel of suspension that makes it not comfortable. I use the Ducky One 2 Mini and it's not that light. K530 is much heavier than the Ducky and I love it. Unfortunately, it didn't have a choice in colors. Hopefully as I continue watching the video, there will be much more options in regard to RGB.
You should. Those controls are baked into the firmware. I actually did the LED demo on this video using the FN combos while it was plugged into an old Chromebook. 😅
That all depends on how often you use the numpad really. If you find that you absolutely must have one you should check out the Redragon Pollux instead. Here's my review of that keyboard: ruclips.net/video/qrKao8hUpJg/видео.html
do you think akko cs switches will fit in this keyboard? Also, any regular keycap set should work? I am new into this so I am not really aware of the key sizes and all of that :s
I don't have any hands on experience with Akko switches, but I've heard that the CS variety has Outemu style pins so they might work. As for caps, as long as they can be used with dust proof switches you're fine.
That's just how it looks on camera. LEDs don't get along with most video cameras, and that's why I've changed which camera I use for LED tests recently. Fortunately I never got rid of my old one when I upgraded. 😅
It's a good thing you did too, since apparently the first wave of the Fizz needed a firmware update to fix flickering LEDs. Fortunately this time it was just a trick of the camera. 👍
I prefer this keyboard. I'm not a fan of the fixed color pattern used on the Lakshmi. If a keyboard is going to have LEDs that don't change color I'd like them to all be the same color.
