- Just wanted to walk through how easy it is to install a new Smittybilt winch. We were shooting in Miami at the new 4 Wheel Parts Doral, and picked this up for our friend at the grand opening sale.

How has this winch been working out for you? Any problems?
Great so far
I just installed the same gen3 9.5k and was wondering if your light above the spool works? Mine does not, and after looking at the smittybilt web pics, the logo is different than the one we have. Ours has the SB logo not the XRC logo. What's your thoughts? I ordered my winch from Amazon.
Did you have to install the 3amp fuse or did it already come in place?
I did not see any notes about it in the box. So I am assuming it was inline, but I can not be sure.

I wired the blue wire wire to the positive battery and the smittybilt logo stays on. So it editors drain the battery. You just keep yours on?
I’m no electrician but I know it can be done. I couldn’t find a fuse that wasn’t constant
Splice to fog light lamp, white and orange wire for pos lead. Works great!
Do u install the blue cable?
The blue wire is for the Smitty logo to light up. I could not find a fuse that was not constant, so it stayed on when the jeep was off. But I am no electrician ( sorry, this is 4Low on my personal account)
@@inlandgraphix Splice to fog light using the little blue double connectors. Super easy. I could not find a fuse that was not constant either.
