Hey guys and welcome to today's video.. We are taking a look at some recent testing done on Japanese sunscreens.. Whilst not all of these are Japanese brands they are the sunscreens most popular in the Japanese Market so please bare that in mind.. Sending you all so much love xxxxxx
I also wonder if It’s a cultural difference as well. My thought is the lower UVA protection and why it’s not as big of a focus may be because they often aren’t out in the direct sun the same way we are in the west. They often use other measures in conjunction with sunscreen to protect themselves. But just a thought. Love Asian sunscreens for “city” everyday use but do prefer European sunscreens when I know I’ll be out in the sun for hours.
Not surprised about Allie! It’s my ride or die under makeup! I like the fact that it’s not too popular in the West but now that these test results were published, i’m afraid they might jack the price up even further. It became popular when some Japanese youtubers put different sunscreens to the test on their own skins and Allie always came out as the best performer with very slight tan, if any at all, after an hour of midday sun exposure! It has a relatively high amount of alcohol but it also has dimethicone so I use it as a primer. Then I just use a hydrating bb cream!
Hi hun, thank you so so much for sharing and I hope that they dont increase the price but this is something which sadly happens when brands get more popular.. sending you lots of love xxxxx
The Allie Kanebo has been a favorite ever since I bought it on a whim at a Japanese beauty store in Montreal a few years ago just before attending a 2 day outdoor music festival (looking forward to those again!) in +35 °C weather, and survived with zero tan lines or sunburn (I'm very fair skinned). The Allie spf replaced the Bioderma photomax spf I was using previously because of it's superior texture (imo).
I have been using Anessa for 20 plus years. Never got burn or tan when wearing it outdoors, but the tacky feeling is not great. I’m glad they release a Gel version which is lighter than the Allie gel version. You guys should try next time. As for the Biore.. it always leaves sunburn marks.. i bought it also many times when I forgot my anessa sunscreen because it’s so cheap.. but meh.. is not that protective. Lately been using La roche Poche sunscreen, so far so good. I use it mainly for indoors or winter autumn, but for summer it has to be Anessa or Anessa.. no other brand beats it! Ps: if you go to the beach, do not use the Allie one, i remember it has one chemical that hurts coral
I still think you should try the Skin Aqua Moisture Milk (blue bottle)! It's more oily-skin friendly than the Gel (white & gold bottle) and dries with a natural matte finish a few minutes after application. Feels like nothing on the skin! And it's a hybrid sunscreen that is fragrance-free and alcohol-free.
Oh thats sounds so so good so I will have to pop one on order as I know we have the same skin type which means it should work well for me... I hope all is wonderful with you and sending you lots of love xxxx
I’m still sticking with Skin Aqua. 45spf isn’t bad because it’s higher than the dermatologist recommended spf30. I feel confident and so far it has done a marvelous job in protecting my skin. Great video Rob!!
Hi hun, happy Saturday and I agree with you hun, SPF 45 is fine for me and I would be more than happy to continue to use the product... sending you lots of love xxxx
I’ve tried all these except the ones that failed and although the loves of my life (Anessa & Suncut) are not spf50, I am happy to see they’re still over 30 because they apply flawlessly on me. I’m so glad you’ve continue to update us!
Let's keep in mind that the higher a chemical sfp index is, the more it has the potential of irritating the skin. This is something to be mindful of for people with sensitive or irritated skin. I think 45-50 is plenty in the summer (reapplying every 2-3 hours is necessary). During the winter, 30 fps is just fine in areas with low UV index. I use the popular Canmake japanese sunscreen for the face. It applies like a charm and replying is also easy. It works great under makeup. No fragrance, no drying alcohol and little silicone. I haven't found an official testing so if you did, please mention it. The company is own by Biore which is a good sign.
Thank you so so much for calling this out and you are right and this is why I always say people should match their SPF needs to their skin type and environment... sending you lots of love xxxx
I stan the Skin Aqua UV Gel. SPF 45 is just fine for me, could be worse and still supplies plenty of protection. I'm sad about the Curel, I love all their other products and was looking into trying their SPF. I'm surprised about the SunCut honestly. I used that at the beach last month and did NOT get burnt at all, although I was probably getting a lot of UVA if the UVA protection was rated low. Weird (And I'm white af lol).
Hi Colin, lovely to hear from you and I hope all is good with you.. I agree with you SPF 45 is more than enough for me and the uncut wasn't the worst rated so I think its fine so long as you apply regularly which is the key thing... sending you lots of love xxxxx
Love your videos! Just a quick note: the tested Anessa sunscreen was actually the Mild Milk version, which is the pink one. I’m fairly confident that the Skincare Milk (gold bottle) provides a much more reliable protection, but it’s just my personal opinion :)
I personally think so too! The Gold one is marketed as the strongest UV milk on their Japanese website so hopefully that means that it should perform better in tests. Plus, I use the Anessa gold version and it sinks in really well and has such a great finish. Importantly, it lasts all day on my oily skin and if I use my normal cleanser with water at the end of the day I can see white patches on my skin where not all of the sunscreen has come off so I always have to double cleanse when wearing it to get it all off. I'm honestly so impressed that it lasts all day even in extreme humidity. Even if the Gold one also has an SPF rating of 45, I'll continue to use it because it just works so well for me.
Allie will be the ONLY one I go to now! I have never used any sunscreen that's close to this efficacy. I have never had an island holiday without getting tanned or burnt until I used Allie! I was out under the sun for 3 full days. There were hardly any tanned lines! It was absolutely amazing! And it's so waterproof, I love seeing the water droplets formed spheres on my skin! I used it under makeup and it works perfectly well too~
Hi Rob I haven't tried any of these shown, but I did try the canmake spf. My highly reactive facial skin (rosacea and eczema) wasn't keen on it (probably the chemical filters) and it is being used up on my hands. Sarah at NOBSBeauty often calls out the Bioderma as being the best and it is one I want to investigate. Due to all the irritation from spf testing earlier in the year I'm a bit hesitant though tbh. I do plan to try it when my skin is calm, not when it's even more flushed due to all the heat/humidity we've been having. My issue with many of the Japanese spf's is all the alcohol which my skin HATES, although i do understand it's usage in spf's - especially in humid environments. I also know it makes for a far less greasy/more elegant texture in spf formulations. It's a big factor for me though, as heat really increases the level of dehydration in my skin (which is a big issue even without the heat). I'm so dry that further dryness isn't acceptable, nor is it good for the health of my skin and is a constant battle anyway. The failure of the canmake (which is supposed to be good for dry skin) prompted me to look elsewhere (UK and EU) and I did find two I could wear without issue. Best wishes.
The Anessa version tested is the "MILD" (which just was reformulated 2021) version not the Gold you showed. Love your channel, but please double check the info you post since it can confuse people.
I live in Vietnam. There are Vietnamese versions for every Skin aqua sunscreen, manufactured in Vietnam, with different formulars from the Japanese's ones (but still under the same brand Skin aqua ). I wonder if the brand is based in a different country, does that make the spf testing system vary too? All skin aqua sunscreen in Vietnam is labeled spf50++++
This is interesting! I would love to know how it differs country to country. I know that in the US, our spfs can be super specific like 46, 41, etc., but in the EU, they could only be 30+. And anything 70 here would be 50+ etc.
@@lithitrabu3399 yes different formulars, plus all the Vietnamese versions exclude alcohol but still feel so lightweigh. That's why I'm a bit skeptical about the spf because the same thing happened to some Korean sunscreen too. (Mình viết tiếng anh để có j mọi người đọc đc r cho ý kiến luôn nha^^)
@@eobrien1 I'm actually curious about whether the quality of a brand in a different country can keep up with its in its origin? Especially when it comes to sunscreen, if the spf is 50, is it rated based on the standard of Japan(the brand) or Vietnam(the manufacturer)?
I'd still consider those tests with a grain of salt. First, the PPD was tested in vitro, not in vivo. And if those sunscreens were tested in a different lab in Europe for example, results would have been different.
@@universe25.x I suggest you watch Lab Muffin's video on SPF testing! She has a science background and breaks everything down so it's easily understandable. Basically sunscreen testing is hard to replicate, leading to wildly different results.
The Kanebo Allie sunscreen is actually quite a cult favourite in Japan and elsewhere. I remember getting it in a pack of two tubes in Okinawa back in 2014, and I gave one tube to my mother who is now in her 60's. The amazing thing is that someone in the 30's and 60's respectively can both use it and yet the product applies elegantly with a smooth finish.
I LOVE that you’re doing all these sunscreen videos during these weird sunscreen times! During the big Prime super sale I bought a lot of different sunscreens to try. I had already purchased one at target (why didn’t I search for a review first? Blue lizard was a big greasy fail!) and at a large neatly grocery chain. I did get some Innisfree and some Julep. I love that the julep is a gel but both of these are small bottles. I’ll try the binder a next! (Glad I always wear 2 brands!)
I’ve just finished today the last drops of the Biore and will apply later the Bioderma for the first time. I really hope is as good as everyone claims!
I live in Japan, so I buy Japanese sunscreen. But I have different sunscreens depending on my purpose, and the lighter, more comfortable sunscreens are for lighter, more comfortable situations 🤣 But, generally the reviews on websites like @cosme bear out whether a product is reliable -- allie and annessa always hit the mark. I think there's a reason they have a more premium price. For daily wear, I use Biore on face and Skin Aqua on body, and the super cheap hybrid type Sun Bears for active wear.
Perfect, I have 3 tubes of Biore 😁, my skin rly loves it for everyday use and it works as a primer too! And for longer exposition I have my P20 for kids with ultra high UVA protection 💜
Stay true, you are the best. I have total faith in you. Thank you for always considering affordability for us and cheaper products that are just as effective and the information you give us to guide us in our purchases. Looking forward to your product launch 😁 xx
The Bioré Watery Essence is a great sunscreen. I felt like there was nothing on my face, and there was no need for a double cleanse at night. It’s too bad that it isn’t the easiest to get! xxxx
Thanks for the info! Not thrilled about Skin Aqua but considering everything that has been going on ...I guess it could have been worse :S -But i'm glad I have been wearing the Bioderma on sunny days!
I totally agree with you, its disappointing but could be a lot worse.. I am going to be looking more at the bioderma for sure ... sending you lots of love xxxxx
I had been using Japanese sunscreens for years since I was 17 (as I lived in Japan, I'm 28 now), but got into using Korean and Western ones just in the past year. I used to never think about ingredients, I used to just buy whatever Japanese SPF 50. I don't care about cruelty free, most of my products aren't and it's never something I cared or was concerned about, but in the past year I started to pay more attention to ingredients now, and the alcohol in Biore tends to dry my skin a lot. I do love the Anessa one, but Allie and Anessa are pretty spendy
My holy grail are annesa & Allie sunscreen after Krave beauty sunscreen recall. Sadly I can only buy them during sales. So currently my backup sunscreen are skin aqua & biore sunscreen.
If you like slugging and are a Fitzpatrick Type 4 or tanner skin type, then check out the Mild Milk or gel (oily skin friendly) version of the Anessa Sunscreen in the SPF 35+ PA+++ (blue bottle). It has a high stay power. I use a paper fan to mattify the dewy look for when I use a mask covering at work.
I am Japanese and living in Ireland. As a fan of yours it’s thrilling to hear you talk about Japanese products. But The most disappointing thing about Japanese skincare is not cruelty free like you said - Like why why why 😞 It’s so upsetting because there are some really good products.
Thank you so much for this info. Since the Korean sunscreen scandal I have been trying out a lot of sunscreens. I’m always looking for ones that are cosmetically elegant and sit well under makeup and I love the Biore one. I can see me reaching for it on those days I’m late for work as the dry down time needed before makeup application is the shortest!! Do you know much about Elta MD sunscreens? I do like one of their physical tinted ones for days when I don’t want to wear makeup. Have a great weekend xx
I'm sticking to European, organic sunscreens from trusted brands. Not that they can't have product that's a fail too, shit happens to all companies, but as far as I can tell, there hasn't been a general The Great European Sunscreen Scandal. And should there be a product that fails, the company is a little closer to home ;) Also, inorganic sunscreens can at best reach UVAFP 20, so as long as I'm not sensitive to organic ones, I only choose inorganic for the winter or as an indoor sunscreen.
Awesome video as always! Thank you very much 😊!!! I have enjoyed JP sunscreens a long time, still am, but pairing with European now & transitioning. Too bad about Curel, their creams & cleansers are so nice.
Thank you so so much for sharing hun and I agree with you the Curel have some great cleansers but this SPF is a total fail for sure... sending you lots of love xxxx
Omg I have the Bioderma Photoderm Max! Soooo liquidy, I wish it came in a pump, plus the Tinosorb M leaves a white cast. That said, I feel totally protected and reach for it any day I know I'm going to be outdoors during peak UV hours
Oh no! First I was using the Purito. Then I switched to Suncut. Although I use the Suncut in the blue bottle, not the gold bottle but now I feel I should toss it too.
Skin Aqua is the only non-cruelty free brand I'll allow in my routine, only because their new Moisture Essence Gold is divine and works so well for my skin. Stinks but alas... finding a sunscreen you enjoy is so hard, I feel like sometimes you need to make exceptions you normally wouldn't consider :(
I recently bought some bottles of Kosé's SUNCUT Perfect UV Gel and at first I was under the impression that this was the one that failed but it appears to be the blue Protect Gel so maybe a slight sense of relief? Hopefully, the formula is different enough to have a better result even though I don't know how reliable this testing should be considered. I would like to think that maybe a water-resistant formula might also go hand in hand with a better UVB/UVA protection factor? Probably might still lose to European counterparts but the gel's felt pretty good so far. Still glad that I've been layering it with another sunscreen.
I’m in US where 50% of tested sunscreens did not live up to claims and UVA isn’t even talked about. I love Allie but would also love to hear about good European sunscreens.
Thank you so so much for watching hun and I have done a video on the best European sunscreens if you search it I think it was about 8 months ago :) sending you lots of love xxxx
Brilliant video. And a huge thank you from me. This video literally answers so many questions I've had about Japanese sunscreens that I've been wanting to ask. If I'm absolutely honest I think J sunscreens are not for me either. With sensitive skin I was always wary of the level of alcohol in their formulations. Well that's made my skin care hauling more streamlined at least...🤣🤪😁 For now 🤣🤣. Xx
Oh thank you for pointing this out hun, you are right they are all similar but its worth calling it out for people who want the exact one.. sending you lots of love xxxx
Took a peak at the source and I couldn’t believe the low score of the suncut uv perfect gel! Just ordered a few of those to try lmfao I guess most of my Japanese sunscreens I will use on my body!! I’d be curious to know about the testing of the gold version of the skin aqua sunscreen as that version, both the gel and the essence, includes uvinul a+ in addition to tinosorb s that is only present in the white bottle with gold cap
Hi Rob I love these kinds of videos! And I would MUCH appreciate it if you'd make a video about bioderma when it becomes entirely cruelty free! kisses ♡
Hi! Were you able to find the number of uva protection for the biore water essence sunscreen? I was just wondering , love your channel and videos btw :)
Japanese has a very strict/high standard when it comes to the products that‘s everywhere in their market from small to big brands so I wouldn‘t really doubt their products.
Hi hun, they do indeed but the regulations are all focussed on the SPF not the UVA protection which is where I think the market falls down a little.. sending you lots of love xxxxx
Would love to know the source for this. My understanding is that Japanese sunscreens sold in Japan are cruelty free, but the exported versions are not. Thanks!!
haha hun, I am totally the same as you .. I dont think there is one I have found yet which I look forward to using if im totally honest... sending you lots of love xxxxx
Honestly, as much as EU sunscreens are touted to be the HG ULTIMATE SUN PROTECTION, I have not found one yet that is both affordable and works with my skin - most of them are so heavy that I hesitate to even put them on and forget about reapplying, I would be a sea of oil. I'd rather have something that has somewhat lower UVA protection (as long as it's fine otherwise) that I actually will *use* lol. So Japanese sunscreens it is for now until Korea fixes their loophole.
HI hun, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and I agree with you... its all about finding the balance between protection, easy of use and how it works with your skin tone and budget... sending you lots of love xxxxx
I had used three out of four in summer 2018-2019. They are meant for city life in hot and steaming Asia summers. They were very eye irritating for hiking, camping, theme park activities in NE.
No link to kose suncut to be sure which one. For some reason that kose/suncut is similar to other japanese sunscreen. It would be nice if you can mention the Full name plus a link in the description box. Thanks
Are you sure they tested the Anessa in the gold bottle? I’m aware that the only test they did was for the mild milk (not the gold bottle). I would really appreciate if you could also post the links thank you sir
@@MadAboutSkin thank you for sharing so many helpful infos esp. about sunscreens. I love your videos. Keep it up! Its from the same company as Verdio which is OMI. It’s called MENTURM THE SUN. it is very lightweight compared to Biore yet still moisturizing enough for oily skin. I hope you’ll review it soon. It’s also pretty affordable.
I 'm a bit confused, in the reddit post it says bioderma photomax aquafluide but the link in the description box, is for bioderma photomax cream, are they the same protection?
Thank you again for this informative video. I didn't know that some of the Japanese sunscreens are so low in protection. I think I will stick to my European sunscreens and some I like from Korean brands. I currently try out the Hawaiian Tropical Mineral face lotion spf 30 and I like it so far. What do you think of that product? It was new for me.
I loved the video, Rob! I enjoyed the feeling of the biore sunscreen, but after a while I think the high alcohol content irritated my sensitive acne prone skin. Have you seen Dr Dray's new video on American vs European sunscreens? Super informative with graphs and all.. glad to be in EU, is all I'm saying :D Much love, can't wait for the launch ❤️ All the best!!

The tested version based on reddit picture reference is the Perfect UV Mild Milk 2020 version and Anessa has since reformulated the Mild Milk to the 2021 version. I absolutely love the Biore UV Watery Essence. It's unfortunate they sell to mainland China and are not cruelty free and I have to stop using them....
Not cruelty free? What's the alternative? Torturing living beings? Why promote them at all?!
Could you elaborate how the "independent testing" was done and who did it?

@@eobrien1 I'm actually curious about whether the quality of a brand in a different country can keep up with its in its origin? Especially when it comes to sunscreen, if the spf is 50, is it rated based on the standard of Japan(the brand) or Vietnam(the manufacturer)?
so good to know! thanks
I'd still consider those tests with a grain of salt. First, the PPD was tested in vitro, not in vivo. And if those sunscreens were tested in a different lab in Europe for example, results would have been different.
What’s the difference between vitro and vivo and what are those at all?😯
@@universe25.x I suggest you watch Lab Muffin's video on SPF testing!
Oh i didn't know that thank you so much for sharing.. Hope all is good with you hun and sending you lots of love xxxx
Let us know!
I hope you love it as much as so many others do but keep us posted on what you think.. sending you lots of love xxxxx
So far I am liking it!
Thanks for the update! I love the Skin Aqua, I agree with marginal error 45 is close enough and is a safe option.
Perfect, I have 3 tubes of Biore 😁, my skin rly loves it for everyday use and it works as a primer too!
And for longer exposition I have my P20 for kids with ultra high UVA protection 💜
Hi hun, thank you so m much for sharing and sending you lots of love xxxxx
Stay true, you are the best. I
have total faith in you. Thank you for always considering affordability for us and cheaper products that are just as effective and the information you give us to guide us in our purchases. Looking forward to your product launch 😁 xx
Aww thank you so so much hun, your comment just put a huge smile on my face and I am sending you so so much love xxxxx
Thanks for sharing this information 😊 How about the Omi Verdio sunscreens? Did it pass the testing? Hope to hear your thoughts on this.
Its a pleasure hun, I havent heard anything about that brand but I will look into the testing and let you know... sending you lots of love xxxxx
The Bioré Watery Essence is a great sunscreen. I felt like there was nothing on my face, and there was no need for a double cleanse at night. It’s too bad that it isn’t the easiest to get! xxxx
I know what you mean Tom, its gorgeous for the lightweight feel and no need to do too much to get it off which I love.. sending you lots of love xxxxx
Thank you so much for sharing and sending you lots of love xxxxx
HI hun, thank you so so much for sharing and I agree with you there are so many good European sunscreens out there.. sending you lots of love xxxxx
I have used both the biore and anessa. Both are great products but I personally prefer anessa as it has a much better finishing on my skin.
My 3 fav sunscreens are Anessa Mild Milk, Allie Ultra UV, and Biore Athlizm Essence.
Thank you so so much for sharing and sending love xxxxx
Omg I have the Bioderma Photoderm Max! Soooo liquidy, I wish it came in a pump, plus the Tinosorb M leaves a white cast. That said, I feel totally protected and reach for it any day I know I'm going to be outdoors during peak UV hours
Thank you so so much for sharing your experiences with it and I agree with you it would be so good in a pump for sure.. sending you lots of love xxxx
For Curel, its UV cream version is far better than the UV milk version... strongly recommended
I totally agree with you hun its the better formulation.. Sending you lots of love xxxx
Oh no! First I was using the Purito. Then I switched to Suncut. Although I use the Suncut in the blue bottle, not the gold bottle but now I feel I should toss it too.
I know what you mean this is so frustrating for so many people... sending you lots of love xxxxx
Same I have the blue and bought three of them I’m wasting so much money 😩😩
Skin Aqua is the only non-cruelty free brand I'll allow in my routine, only because their new Moisture Essence Gold is divine and works so well for my skin. Stinks but alas... finding a sunscreen you enjoy is so hard, I feel like sometimes you need to make exceptions you normally wouldn't consider :(
In the report Rob shared, item 26, Sunplay by skin aqua, the "manufacturing location" is China. :(
Hi! Do you know how much UVA protection the Skin Aqua sunscreen was shown to give in the third party testing?
Hi hun , its all in the link posted in the description which will break it down for you... sending you lots of love xxxxx
Hi hun.. I think the formula is different enough that you should be ok.. Sending you lots of love xxxxx
Xx
It looks like the Bioderma one they tested is technically the Aquafluid version, but I think the MAX line is all very similar.
Oh thank you for pointing this out hun, you are right they are all similar but its worth calling it out for people who want the exact one.. sending you lots of love xxxx
Happy Friday hun hope you have a wonderful weekend xxxx I will forever be a fan of the biore sunscreen :) sending much love 💜💜💜
Happy Saturday Chris... I hope you are having an amazing weekend so far and not melting in this heat lol... sending you lots of love xxxxx
And I would MUCH appreciate it if you'd make a video about bioderma when it becomes entirely cruelty free! kisses ♡
I will make that video as soon as they do hun as I will be so happy when they are 100% CF... sending you lots of love xxxxx
Thanks 🤗 again for these updates..lots love..
Its a pleasure hun and thank you so so much for watching... sending you lots of love xxxx
Hey Rob, Isehan is cruelty-free. Their Sunkiller sunscreens are nice. Much love xoxo
Would love to know the source for this. My understanding is that Japanese sunscreens sold in Japan are cruelty free, but the exported versions are not. Thanks!!
Thank you so so much for sharing Stacy and I hope all is good with you.. I will have to check them out... sending you lots of love xxxxx
I never look forward to applying sunscreen.. I do it anyway when it's needed, but I hate it 🙈
haha hun, I am totally the same as you .. I dont think there is one I have found yet which I look forward to using if im totally honest... sending you lots of love xxxxx
First? I have move to LRP sunscreens and loving it.. Sending you lots of love xxxxx
Congrats on being first again! You’ve been clicking quickly lately! 😉👑
Pauline, you are super fast these days, I am impressed lol... x
Tom you have been first this week too lol, I would say the competition is hotting up lol... xxxxx
Hii Rob! Have you tried the Isehan Sunkiller Perfect Water Essence? Its my current go to but I cant find anything on its spf testing.
Hi hun, I havent tried it but I need to and I will look into the SPF testing on it for you for sure... sending you lots of love xxxxx
@@MadAboutSkin you are the best!!

I haven't tried any of these, but the price makes me double think about the options I have close by instead.
I know what you mean hun, so many of these can be so highly priced which is a same as they are out of reach for many... sending you lots of love xxxxx
Super-helpful, thanks 👍🏼
Hi Ian, happy Saturday and I hope all is good with you... sending you lots of love xxxxx
They look great but I dunno how they would hold up under our extreme Australian sun mite try some next summer.
I agree with you hun.. You always have to match the spf to the climate for sure.. Sending you lots of love
After all, information on the testing validity is the most important information right? Please share details.
Do you have an idea how good the protection is from OMI Menturm. It is very lightweight Japanese sunscreens. They make Verdio as well
HI hun, sorry but I havent seen anything on this one but I will keep looking and let you know xxxx
Hey please make a video on the actual ppd number of Japanese sunscreen please!
Hello Rob I wish you could do one on Kose suncut the one in the blue pump bottle
Hi hun , I havent trend that out but I will look into it.. sending you lots of love xxxxx
I 'm a bit confused, in the reddit post it says bioderma photomax aquafluide but the link in the description box, is for bioderma photomax cream, are they the same protection?
I love the biore sunscreen! So glad it passed.
I am so so glad it did too hun as its one of my holy grails for sure... sending you lots of love xxxxx
Hi, what about the Hada Labo UV white gel (tub), please? I can't find any info if it delivers the marketed SPF
Muchas gracias por la aclaración de la calidad de los protectores solares japoneses
my pleasure hun x
I loved the video, Rob! I enjoyed the feeling of the biore sunscreen, but after a while I think the high alcohol content irritated my sensitive acne prone skin. Have you seen Dr Dray's new video on American vs European sunscreens? Super informative with graphs and all.. glad to be in EU, is all I'm saying :D Much love, can't wait for the launch ❤️ All the best!!
Anessa has different versions of Perfect UV Milk(s)
The one he listed as "Products Mentioned" is not the one tested. The tested version based on reddit picture reference is the Perfect UV Mild Milk 2020 version and Anessa has since reformulated the Mild Milk to the 2021 version. The one he listed is the Perfect UV Milk 2018 version
Thank you for calling this out i will make the change now.. Sending you lots of love xxxx
What scale is the UVA rating of A for the suncut??? I thought it was PA+ scale
Hi hun, its on a PA scale but thats not something which is really used in the west but if you click on the link in the description you can see the PA for all the products... sending you lots of love xxxx
Does this apply to the suncut UV perfect essence SPF50? I have it and hate it so much
Hi hun, I would say it does though its not been specifically tested..sending you lots of love xxxxx
For the suncut sunscreen is it only for that specific one or all of there products . Also how can I check updated spf news from these brands
Hi hun, its hard to find updates for Jordan sunscreens and this is specific to just this one but I will keep my eye out for others and updates and let you guys know if I find one .xx
Hi. Can u make a review about CLINELLE uv defense SPF 50 PA+++...I just bought it but i found out that it has oxybenzone.. So i feel im not comfortable to use it..

Hi hun, I would, I think it would work really well for you... sending you lots of love xxxx

Can i know de reason y u don't show products in real? & just in screen display🤔
Do they have fragrance in them? It’s very important to me
Hi hun, I would check the ingredients list one the website you choose to buy form as some brands have different formulations depending on country and that includes fragrance... Most of these have fragrance in the UK market but this might not be the case for all... sending you lots of love xxxx
