So much fun and as always learned a different technique. I’ve used the expand tool and one trick I found to get a rounded shape was to pinch the enter layer down to the size of a postage stamp, then apply the expand tool with the size set to max. I tapped in the center and found I got a very even round effect. Loved the trick with the clouds and the way you used saturation to darken the bottoms. As always, thank you for sharing and I look forward to your Thursday videos and the preview you show on Instagram. It’s like getting a present every week!
As someone who is very familiar with Proceate but is experimenting with a new drawing style and new brushes, this simple tutorial was fantastic! I love the final look. Thank you Calvin. I’ve subscribed to you and will be watching more of your videos asap!
As soon as I get my Social Security check, I’m going to try and buy those wonderful brushes. I did it with what they have in Procreate but, it didn’t look nearly as nice as yours. ❤️
Thanks for making these fantastic tutorials! I have so many nice things to say, but I really like this new approach. I’ve always tried to watch the videos through once before starting. But it’s been helpful to see the steps listed and a picture of the brush. Thanks for consistency!
I love your style Im rubbish at line work but can now paint people by following your technique. Thank you for sharing all your fabulous videos I have liked and subscribe
Hi, I purchased your watercolor brushes to follow along with the pressure sensitivity seems to be reversed with them? All my other brushes you press harder for darker opacity but yours are the opposite. Is there a way to change this?
Thanks so much for the inspiring video!❤ do you work on CMYK or RGB? I’ve been having some truble with colors for print in Procreate, but your illustration looks amazing on paper. How do you do that?😊
Thank you so much! Usually I will print the RGB file and let the printer do the conversion. After that, I will examine the print and then make adjustments to the RGB and print again. In situations where I need very exact colors in the final print, I will go through this several times. For whatever reason my pixma printer does it perfectly right away, but that only prints on small paper. For the bigger ones I use my Canon Imageclass laser printer and it sometimes takes a few tries to get it right. I never convert to CMYK. I am definitely not an expert but this works for me 😁
I love this design! 😊 Once again I learned something new about Procreate. I've been reluctant to use the expand transformation tool (¯\_(ツ)_/¯ silly, I know), but this tut made it so approachable. Thanks!
You forgot the cat’s nose!! i love your work ❤ thank you for sharing your talent

Hi Calvin, I'm a big fan of your painting style. I would love to place an order if it is possible?
Thank you so much! It's hard to keep track of RUclips comments, can you message me on the Etsy store?

Adding my thumbs up for a fun video! Embarrassed to say it took 5 tries to get that cat just right! Oh, and these are for you…😱😱😱
hahaha! I love that screamer 😂 if you feel comfortable sharing, I'd love to see the cat anyways 😊
Please add turkish subtitles 🙏🏻
dont understand why the extra steps to get the balloon shape instead of drawing it in that shape in the first place 🤷
Because its a beginner video
@@taraj763 exactly why it should be simplified and easy to follow along
I think he is showing some techniques via that
