The Niew Zealand games to the Semi finals are much easier than South Africa's. The first game of Niew Zealand was France and from there it was straight to the Semi finals. South Africa on the other hand was Scotland, Ire land, Tonga who are suppose to be one of the minnows (which was a aggressive and tough team) to play against, with many strong and well known players in the team. They played like Samoa whom SA always use to get in the previous world cups. Then it was France and now this past Sunday it was England. It seems like the system was set up to tire South Africa out by the time they get to the finals, eventhough it look like they wanted SA out before the Semi final. Niew Zealand was always wrapped in cotton wool and this is not the first time they were given an much easier road to the Semi finals then South Africa. This was also mainly the reason for Niew Zealand to win world cups back to back. I was just wondering if Niew Zealand would smoke the pipe if the positions were swapped whereby Niew Zealand are put out to play the tough teams given to South Africa.
To the lady who thinks it's unfair, it's very basic. Each team gets 80 minutes. The team that accumulated the most points wins. So what is unfair? Teams must remember it's not over until the final whistle has gone.

As a South African, we've really got to give the Boks grace for how they played, even if it wasn't their best. They were still fatigued from last week's intense game with France, and had to get ready for yesterday's game. And the weather and terrain conditions didn't make it any easier for them. England on the other hand, had the preschool pool throughout the tournament. That game was the first tough game they've played, and if they only played their best game now, then I'm not really sure if that's really the case if they had been in a much tougher pool with equal level of skills. This game to me, felt like England's first challenge, which they should have faced in the early Pool stages if they had tougher rivals. Then people wouldn't probably write them off and see them as a genuine threat, but I'll give them credit for showing that for the 70 minutes at the semis as they were leading. The Boks, on the other hand, had the toughest road to climb in the tournament. We were in the Pool of Death, as we had Scotland, Ireland, and even Tonga, who showed up and surprised everyone with their impressive defense side. And we all know how the game with France turned out to be. World Rugby may have set us up for failure, as we are the reigning world championships, and that kind of puts a target on your back for everyone to take you out. But the Boks stood their ground, faced the odds that were against them, and now we are on to the finals to face our greatest rivals. The ABs also didn't have an easy road either in the beginning with the opening game, but after that, they didn't face much competition until the quarter finals with Ireland. And the most disappointing and boring semi finals with Argentina, so they didn't face much adversity. But I'm really reluctant to say that England played their best when they had the easiest run in the tournament out of any team. Even Ireland and France, who never lost a game until the quarters, had tougher competition than England. The Red Roses were just in the lead. And probably the vengeance that fueled them from the previous RWC in 2019 may have factored in their gameplay to play harder. At the end of the day, "playing the best rugby", or "playing the prettiest rugby" as some French fans have said last week, doesn't win you games. Experience, creativity, and overcoming adversity at the worst of times, is all it takes to win.

"wrong side of the whistle", considering one team had 4 random penalties in the first half.. it's obvious which team had the whistle in their backpocket.
We played quite frankly our worst possible performance in a semi final. Nobody thought we would be winning this match. We were dead ans buried for 78 mins. It was a smash n grab win lol.
England played their best game in year's. Bokkes played their worst in year's, definitely their worst in this WC. It was England's big chance. They failed.
I sadly suspect the final will be an anti-climax. Boks have run their course - I just can't see them recovering quickly enough. Would like to be pleasantly surprised though.
You can understand them being pretty gutted after losing that game the way they did after leading for 79 minutes. But England have a great sporting pedigree and success at world tournaments-Football world champions 1966, RWC champions 2003 and Cricket World Cup winners 2019. No other country can say that. Great comment though😂
Thats some disrespect of the South African flag from that guy, , But nonetheless England had played their best rugby in a long time ,hence they we're written off way before the tournament and proved their critics wrong even in this defeat English and South Africans alike thought SA is going to win by a big margin
Boks fought to get out of Group B (Scotland and Ireland) and then beat France, England never beat a top 4 team they had the easiest draw as well when it came down to it England failed/chocked in the 70th minute against the Boks!!!
True England had a cakewalk group, Argentina is a great team, but it is not comparable to having to get through Ireland and France, Weather played a big role too.
I was in Paris for the game. Despite it being soaking it qas a hard test As an England fan i was proud of how England played but i have no problem with the result. Its disappointing reading some of these salty comments from posters from both sides . But lve leant not to take views on social media seriously anymore.
I am a South African but I really dislike some of our supporters. It was a hard game and could have gone either way, so to be so arrogant is crazy. Our players are more humble thankfully.
Credit to England - they pulled out all the stop sand have great players and a new coach and they nearly had an upset tonight. They had a strategy that matched the knockout rugby and the conditions. Bloody well planned and executed. SA on the other hand probably didn't respect the rainy conditions in the first half and tried to play with the ball too much. SA forwards also looked a bit fatigued from the French game TBH as England were crossing the gain line and the SA defence wasn't as aggressive as usual. Their set pieces also were being disrupted by England - not at all like SA. again great play by England. It was only the replacements that made the difference, with SA depth being pretty good. This changed the scrums and got a couple of penalties that got us into their half- before that we couldn't get out of our half.
I wonder if that guy at the beginning feels like a big man behaving like that. Would never say that to any of our guys because he'd get slapped into tomorrow.
He was probably intoxicated and if he wasn't I guess he felt like 'these are just women so I can do whatever I want.' Yeah I don't think any Saffa blokes would've tolerated that type of disrespect.

England played a stellar 80 minutes, South Africa were chasing them for most of the game, what won it for them were Rassie & Jacques Tactical decisions....and the players never say die attitude. It's as simple as that. Farrell was player of the match for me all day long and twice on a Sunday. A massive loss to England him not playing any more.
Respect the flag🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
@@Yeahrightbru till we meet Saturday 🤝🏾🇿🇦🇳🇿
British create games for others to win👏👏😂👍
Yes we are inventive, that is why we are successful 👏
Hard luck, England. Hell of a fright you gave us. Pretty positive for Eng going forward, seems like your team is in good hands, mostly.
Bokke!
I had no hope, then I had hope and then they took it all away. 😂
South African here: I just want to echo the fans in the video. I predicted South Africa would have a clear win, but England proved to be an excellent opponent (the better team for at least 70 minutes). England deserved the win, but we wanted it just a little bit more, which is why we won. Thank you and I know we will remain friends.
Go the mighty all blacks ❤
if that was New Zealand in the last 10 minutes they stay composed to win, 37 phases against Ireland vs the exhausted spring boks
Our Boks where rubbish bt still managed to beat the English, thts levels right there
I like the favorites tag for New Zealand springboks always excells when they come in as under dogs
Lol
ABs have won and lost games wearing all the tags. It won’t make a difference end of day
True, bro… I already feel bad for NZ.
@@HeeniKeke they have never won a world cup final against springboks n I'm very confident they still won't ,at least not this coming weekend
@@conlanfitzhenry52 I was more nervous abt England, come the final whistle we definitely celebrating n is not arrogance is just knowing the resilience of this team when the are underdogs n abt to face a quality side like the AB's or any top side
It's disturbing the way he throws our South African flag
Only one team goes home happy for the rest its four more years
Lol - that lady "Thank you for coming England"
England don't deserve any respect. Claiming racism just because you don't understand the language the opposing team is using is pathetic. And Farrells' tantrum on the pitch was just disgraceful. They are just bad losers.
You guys backed England and lost. I hope you take all those bad jujus to New Zealand as well 😂 sorrows, sorrows, prayers, prayers 🥀
That woman is the type of fan why people think we are arrogant, couldn’t stand listening to her. England played a great game and probably deserved the win overall, but no one has our heart 💚
I hope you won’t say in the final « NZ deserved to win that match overall » because that would mean you shouldn’t have won any of your knockout games 🤣🤣
In all honesty, there are those kinds of fans in all countries. England played well and basically had their foot in the final and then South Africa clawed back. The ref missed a few things for both
All teams that deserved to win have won and are gonna be playing in the final...
Nevermind, those who calculate wise, they always win, u can work hard and never succed, work simple and use brains and win🤷 And what matter most is a win my dear people 😊
good presenting mate
As I’m here today to let those who didn’t believe in Springbok that we have won World Cup, shout to New Zealand 🇳🇿 they put lotta efforts though
"wrong side of the whistle", considering one team had 4 random penalties in the first half.. it's obvious which team had the whistle in their backpocket.
The interviewer here (John Okafor) was part of the Harlequins set up in England. What happened to his career?
We played quite frankly our worst possible performance in a semi final. Nobody thought we would be winning this match. We were dead ans buried for 78 mins. It was a smash n grab win lol.
England played their best game in year's. Bokkes played their worst in year's, definitely their worst in this WC. It was England's big chance. They failed.
Their best game on years consisted of high kicks and delay tactics. Enough said.
The Bokke had the worst pool to play and they did us proud. A WIN IS A WIN. They simply the BEST ❤
Coming from a South African, our fans in that premises are arrogant and clearly don’t know a thing about rugby.
Just a normal Bokk, arrogant, disrespectful and full of themselves. Yet just can't go back home 🤔
That English fan at start of this video treating the South African flag with disrespect should have been dealt with...
I sadly suspect the final will be an anti-climax. Boks have run their course - I just can't see them recovering quickly enough. Would like to be pleasantly surprised though.
You will be pleasantly surprised buddy I tell you.
how did that movie end
England got their points from penalties and couldn't score a try, south africa wins with a penalty and they feel cheated but couldn't score a try 🤷♂️
And South africa won🇿🇦😊
"England creates sports for other countries to win"😂😂 Love that comment, but all the credit to the England players. They played a great game of rugby.
Thats some disrespect of the South African flag from that guy, ,
But nonetheless England had played their best rugby in a long time ,hence they we're written off way before the tournament and proved their critics wrong even in this defeat English and South Africans alike thought SA is going to win by a big margin
The English never had manners,anyhow... hooligans
Sounds like a lot like the 2022 FIFA World Cup against France
England, the better team but still lost😂😂😂
or the Euro final against Italy..
What is the song at 1:19
Boks fought to get out of Group B (Scotland and Ireland) and then beat France, England never beat a top 4 team they had the easiest draw as well when it came down to it England failed/chocked in the 70th minute against the Boks!!!
True England had a cakewalk group, Argentina is a great team, but it is not comparable to having to get through Ireland and France, Weather played a big role too.
Careful with that flag, boys 🇿🇦
Yes, don't waste bog roll 😆
I was in Paris for the game. Despite it being soaking it qas a hard test As an England fan i was proud of how England played but i have no problem with the result. Boks scrum ultimately won and managed and finished the game. Thats what good teams fo .
Had a great night in the bars in Paris with the English and Bok fans and wish them luck in the tournament.
Its disappointing reading some of these salty comments from posters from both sides . But lve leant not to take views on social media seriously anymore.
Mind the Gap on your way home England...Bokke is jou baas
At least we can see the gap.Bokke can't keep lights on to see the gap😆
@@MrMikes360 Loadshedding is temporary. On the other hand, when we knock your lights out, they will be out permanently you English pygmy.
I am a South African but I really dislike some of our supporters. It was a hard game and could have gone either way, so to be so arrogant is crazy. Our players are more humble thankfully.
The team that scores tries should win and they did and they were the best team.
That's a declaration of war, please respect our flag
Like you would win... you can't even keep the lights on 🤣🤣🤣
I would like those women to retract their statements because now we are jinxed
England mentality stuck in the 80’s
Saffa chick with the glasses is so bloody cringe
Chose our most awful fan to "star". England were brilliant and we were lucky to win. But..we make our own luck
1:10 "everybody thought l was delusional"
... then the actual reality set in at the 80:00 'fool time' whistle... everybody was right!
Go Bokke!! Go Bokke!!! Go Bokke!!!!
Was a great game, however that penalty at the end was daylight robbery. Good luck in the final though.
it more than a sport here in SA, go watch the rugby in SA the only shirt collar you see is green, everywhere, it means more to us
In opera it's the proverbial fat lady, in rugby it's literally the whistle.
The Brits are world champions at celebrating defeat. They've had decades of practice.
I believe it when they said that they'll move on from this, but if this were a football wc semi then not so much.
England played like world cup winners. Owen was terrific and really should have got man of the match - even though in the losing team.
😂😂😂 you mean they played the World Cup winners
England played not to lose; South Africa played to win. Big difference.
"It's the hope that kills you..." 😂0:57💀
I wonder if that guy at the beginning feels like a big man behaving like that. Would never say that to any of our guys because he'd get slapped into tomorrow.
He was probably intoxicated and if he wasn't I guess he felt like 'these are just women so I can do whatever I want.' Yeah I don't think any Saffa blokes would've tolerated that type of disrespect.
A big bula to the lady fan that said this" But at the end of the day I'd support fiji,,,,,feegee"
Bula
One point , point made, Green and Gold . South Africa are like a herd of Buffelo . They didnt play there hearts out for anything but the people of South Africa. As stronger together!!!!!!
