Just bought a Nano 2, I've been spinning on drop spindles for nearly 2 years now but held off getting a wheel or e-spinner because of cost and space... had my eye on one of these for a while and am now incredibly excited to get going!
I have just ordered the Nano 2 and your video has been super helpful. I am an experienced spinner but treadling sometimes is difficult due to disabilities. I can't afford the lovely wooden e-spinners and was so excited when I saw the Nano. I can't wait!!
Thank you so much! I was having a lot of trouble getting the spinner to take up and didn't totally understand the relationship between the flyer and the tension on the nano. Your video was super straightforward and helpful.
Purchased this for my wife this Christmas. She cannot get the fiber to feed in. It just twists on the outside and is not pulled onto the bobbin. Please help!
I made a troubleshooting video here: ruclips.net/video/ONCot0nSmrs/видео.html There is also a 5 part getting started series on this page if she isn't a spinner and needs to learn the fundamentals. www.dreamingrobots.com/eew-nano/
Thank you so much for this video 😀 will the battery pack for the eew6 be compatible or is the voltage too high? Wondering if they'd need separate batteries x
If your battery for the EEW 6.0 has a usb port then it will work. You would use the USB port to power this one. Don't use the same barrel jack as the voltage there would be too high (however, it would take some work that would find a cord that connected from that kind of plug to the USB plug so I expect there will be less over voltage issues with this one than with the EEW Nano 1.x).
I can't get the yarn to wind on the bobbin. I've loosened the tension and I've increased it, and neither seems to work. Anything else that I could be doing wrong?
I just bought a Nano 2, watched your excellent movie and started spinning. I span successfully for maybe 3 hours all together( about 8 sessions) . Tonight I was spinning for about 15 min. When the sound suddenly changed and the wheel speed to very low. Any idea what to do?
There are several things this could be like the drive belt coming off the motor pulley. I created a video of things to check for here: ruclips.net/video/ONCot0nSmrs/видео.html
This is called a lack of uptake. I have an FAQ on this page and there are many suggestions there on how to improve uptake. www.dreamingrobots.com/eew-nano/
Thank you for another great video! Part of the reason I bought the 6 is because the support videos are top notch!

I've been having trouble with my leader yarn slipping, so I'm gonna try what you suggested. 😊

Thanks for this , really helpful :)
Hi I just bought on of these and I'm struggling to get the bobbin to take up any yarn? Is it to do with the tension dile?
Thanks :)

Nice job thanks
How made the base please make it clear
Will the bobbins from the nano 1 fit the nano 2?
They should, but I still need to do more testing.
What type of battery to you use?
This page lists the different batteries I use: www.dreamingrobots.com/eew-battery-power/
Hello, it seems to me to understand that the extension cord usb (the long one) is included with the nano2? or is necessary to buy it apart?. thanks!
