I'm so happy you were able to help and troubleshoot the Nano. May they now be able to use and enjoy the little e spinner.

So awesome that you did this for such a wonderful person I'm sure. I know that if I ever 😂wanted to learn how to spin and bought one, and had issues, I would know who to send it to to fix or troubleshoot 😊 You ROCK dear sis.

My problem must be the motor itself, because it it makes a rather load noise, as if struggling to spin the p pully,(and I did check everything else:various USB power cords, powerr outlets, tensioning, speed, etc,!). My Nano2 won't acheive a high apeed and when it spin,it does so with jerks...
Thanks for this video- your troubleshooting provoed ,that I did do all possible apart from changing the motor..
Shall have to contact Maurice after all.

I do have one more video that is called stress free spinning and it’s based on tension but there could be a couple more things to try.

What kind of material is your tension band of? And how can I proof if it has the right tension (before I get frustrated that it does not take the yarn in)?

The tension band is what came with the nano.
This happens to me as well and it all is based on tension. The adjustment in your tension band is micro adjustments just the tiniest bit tighter or more loose will be noticeable. What happens is the bobbin gets heavier as the weight of the yarn starts to increase and the tension needs to be adjusted accordingly.
This happens with manual wheels as well. Finding the new sweet spot can be tricky when you are learning.
I hope this helps , if you have and further questions please feel free to ask.
I will be making a more in-depth video on understanding tension.

Having the same issues. I've followed your video, and I had good uptake with no pressure and no uptake when applying a little pressure. This little bugger is kicking my butt. Any suggestions? Just sets there putting crazy spin into it.

Hi Brooke , may I suggest watch my updated more involved video “ nano stress free spinning” . In this video I go through more tension and uptake trouble shooting.

@@SpringTheFiberEnthusiast Thank you! I didn't realize how different from drop spindling this would be. I will definitely watch your video.

I actually already watched that. I didn't realize. I am searching now for a video with the tension knob. Thanks for the advice!

Looks like it had to much tension on the bobbin

Yes it was absolutely a Tenison! You know how to much or to little can happen in a millisecond of a turn.
