Hi, interesting video. Water here is definately safe to drink, although I must admit I drink bottled because I prefer the taste and fizz. Fingers crossed you'll get some sun here soon. Looking forward to your next video soon.
I just discovered your channel a few days ago and I've binged most of your videos which is weird because I've just finished an MA in History so I'm out of the education system for a while now. It's intriguing to see how international students find British universities! Also the water in the UK is definitely safe to drink, it might be a little hard in places but there's nothing wrong with it safety wise.
@@KaelynGraceApple I studied education. Somerville is pretty. My college, Homerton was formerly an all-female one like Somerville too. Our sister college is Harris-manchester.
Hi, I am going to live in Somerville for the academic year 2022-23. I want to know which building did you live in, was that Margery Fry House? I also want to know something about bathroom. A shared one?
Hi! So I am assuming grad (well most) accommodation at Oxford doesn't come with ensuite. How was navigating that and other public/communal spaces? I am trying to wrap my spoiled American head around a communal toilet/shower for months on end having zero experience with either in a living situation. Also, did you visit any other Oxford graduate accommodations? If so did you prefer them or Somerville?
It really felt no different than undergrad other than that I had my own room. Much of the accommodations at Oxford were similar though St.Cross has much better kitchens!

Thank you for the comment and assurance that the water is safe 😂
This was super helpful! I’ll be living at Sommerville in the fall and this video really helped me understand what to expect. Thanks!

Aw I'm so glad youve enjoyed the videos so far! Where did you study for your MA?
I studied at Northumbria University in Newcastle for both my undergraduate and Masters degrees. It has been such a positive experience.
@@TheKillersAreMyLife Aw I'm so glad you had a positive experience! The study of history is so under-rated!
