first of all don't make notes, lol why would you need notes? things change so much don't expect experiments to work based on notes. Make notes after you understand of ideas that you have tried out and works lol

I matriculated in 2006 for the DPhil. My Dept breached their contract the first week by replacing two male content expert faculty with a female BERA prof. I won my Tribunal against Oxford.
I am planning on attending the CS Lewis Summer Institute next summer (2022). I will be staying at St. Catherine's University - never been to Oxford so looking forward to the trip - and hoping COVID has significantly subsided by then!

Congratulations on your accomplishments. I am finishing my final chapters and plan to defend by November of 2020. I am much older than you, but I have found in my experience that having almost completed my second doctorate, I find the pool of potential mates to be shrinking. Not that I feel superior in any way to others; in fact, I am a health care professional and care about people. There is however a longing for intellectual discussion that is otherwise difficult to find among the non-PhD cohort. What have your experiences been?

im starting my phd at oxford this fall, im superrr excited thanks for making this video :D im wondering what you think about living in private accommodation vs college accommodation? I feel as a phd student i kind of do want the privacy of my own apartment, and not having to share a kitchen/bathroom, plus maybe getting a place with an extra bedroom for when my family/friends come over to visit, but I also feel like I might miss out on the experience of living in college with other people, how did you make the decision? (im lucky enough to have my country's government financially support my living costs so that isnt an issue)
