I moved into a new room and decorated with a bunch of things from charity shops. after going out a bunch last week, I took this weekend to recover and spend some quality time by myself doing things I loveeee like reading, taking walks outside, and eating yummy food. if ur reading this, just a reminder that it's ok to take however much time u need away from the world and just catch up on urself :)

i love everything you said, especially the part “i cant possibly experience everything so i would rather experience myself” bcs i did too. last few years, it was hard to accept that some of my dreams aren’t meant for me. that it may take a long time or may be not at all. so instead i should focus on how to make myself happy. it made me healthier and even better. i learned a lot of things by loving myself. it is not a selfish thing to do, for me loving yourself is the start of being the best person ever.

The diary entry at the start was beautiful. I studied at uni in Bournemouth from 2017 to 2021 and I had such an altered perception before I went that I would also have a huge friend group and be out on the town all the time. Taking the time to almost get to know myself again was one of the best things I've ever done.
I applied to study a Masters yesterday just to prove to myself I can do it - if anyone reads this, never give up on your dreams - and always be the one star in the sky that shines in a different way
Hey, friendly advice! I worked at a flower shop and I learned that flowers that are kept in a vase with water are better cut in diagonal rather than perpendicular so the flower can take in more water at once since the surface of absorption in greater. It will make them last longer if you cut them like so from time to time! :)

This is so relatable. Who I was as a teenager and how I thought I would be about socialising is light years away from the quiet homebody that I had become. Letting go of and identity that you clung onto so intensely can be the greatest gift of freedom to yourself.
It's lovely, refreshing to see a student living in such a wholesome way. You'll never look back with regrets on this time, as you've used it well 💓
randomly found your channel and pulled up this video. the first scene hit me and I burst into tears. thank you. it described me with the walking into a room and feeling inadequate and the weight of all the lives you’re not living and the things you’re not doing. my brother is 23, college has worked out well for him,he had $250 a month housing for 3 years, he has gotten internships and jobs, got a new car, just got married with an amazing remote job right off the bat

It’s so nice to see someone taking time for themselves and having a fun time being alone. I spent 99% of university alone, and although I enjoyed being alone, I never really cherished it and did cute stuff like this😭I feel like I need to reenter university again so I can do stuff like this and also try harder in my classes lol

10:58 i don't know if you will see this comment but i think it's so important that you said that on the video, because often young people try to find for an "aesthetic" or "something core" to fit them and they try to mold themselves into that aesthetic (clothes, books, room decor, music, even activities) when the reality is that each person is unique and you should always center your life around things that make you happy no matter if they don't seem cohesive, no matter if things are too weird or too basic. let yourself be defined by the things that you love! don't define yourself by what a stranger calls "dark academia", "coquette", "kidcore", etc etc
I love the self-reflection you do in every video. We should all practice it to be more pleased with ourselves and our environment. It's a healthy habit we should all aspire to 💖
Spend 2 years in uni in London. And I also turned into a much quieter version of myself than i thought. This is exactly how I would spend my nights! So nice to watch your vlogs they're very consoling and bring me back to UK life!
