- Welcome to the Oxford University Room Tour. As a part of my University of Oxford's room tour series, I'll be showing you some student rooms within selected colleges at the University of Oxford. This specific accommodation features a single room, ensuite washroom, and shared kitchen and common area. Located in Iffley, it is located about 25-30 minutes away from the city centre (by walking).

I applied to Oxford when I was 18 but didnt get in unfortunately! You've done really well getting there and it's really interesting to see what the accommodation is like!

@@monicology Lately I've been using IKEA stationery a lot (weird yes I know) especially their felt-tip pens and the neon gel pens. I've always been obsessed with highlighters ^-^

how much do you need to pay for each year
the reason why i am asking is because im thinking about applying to oxford next year, and my parents don't make that much so yeah do you have financial aid?
You should check the course you're applying to, because it depends. DPhils are funded usually but probably less so for internationals...

You apply to the specific college, and it has college-owned accommodation. You can apply to specific accommodation sites. Does that help?
I have two question Is the building in which you live close to the university campus? And how far is it to walk to the university? How much does it cost per month? And thank you♥️
I live in college! It's about 650 gbp/month, and it's a 25-minute walk to campus!

They can be graduates or undergraduates!

It depends on the college! Some people have single rooms, others have doubles, etc. Which one are you interested in?

@@monicology honestly, I saw pictures of other colleges and have gotten jealous at how large and beautiful they are
@@sigma8067 Large colleges aren't for everyone, just how small colleges aren't for everyone. Beauty also doesn't mean a great college experience, but maybe it does. Try to go in with an open mind and see how you like it!
I did my Bs and Msc at a very large university and I honestly was not super into it so maybe it will be nice to be part of a small college. Thanks :)

Hiya! Yes there are scholarships (also dependent on your course). Total fee depends on the course/scholarship/living situation. This room has a shared kitchen and private bathroom, but my other room tour was 100% just me. Does that help?

@@user-se4nt2th8u Of course :) What year are you in? If you're still in school (e.g., doing your GCSEs/IB/etc) the best advice I have is to work hard and stay well! Try to find some enrichment activities are attend Oxford's open days too
