Hey buddy try just going 4x deadbolts and focus on dodging as much as you can I think you'll love it on the F7A, Singes are fun but having to split your focus on landing your shots between two different firing speeds cuts your dps by a lot and exposes you for longer to return fire, be nimble fast and sting them hard like the hornet you are!

Singe are pretty bad at the moment, imo, because they require to keep the pip on target for a long time. Their damage does not balance that.
I am sure you would deal more damage in any fight with laser canons, especially in pvp, where aiming at nimble ships can be more difficult. And if you fight cargo ships or big targets, just go scatter guns, not Singe.

you have to take care of the ship now, you must not be without a shield, lately the ship is getting more and more damaged, some parts stop working, for example, the inferno, as the weapon gets more and more damaged, it fires bullets more slowly (1 bullet per second xD), and overheating also damages the weapon.

Yeah, this game is too dependent on the shield. They have to get armor in the game as soon as possible
