How to train your brain to CRAVE working out

    How to train your brain to crave fitness:
    1. Find an exercise that makes you happy. If you dread it, don't do it!
    2. Find ways to distract yourself from your workout (watching TV on the treadmill, listening to an audiobook while running, etc).
    3. Work out with friends!
    4. Make your workout a routine by scheduling it into your calendar!

    I have to say my biggest motivation to get myself to workout is remembering how great I feel after and how much stronger I will be later. Just knowing I get stronger and healthier each time I workout is motivation enough for me.

      That's how I feel about jogging. I don't do it atm, but when I start again, it will be the only thing keeping me going. I've hated jogging so far. 😐

      @@AasthaHingar what I do if have a break from working out like 2weeks Christmas is start small even if u super power some stretches at your normal exercise time then don't stress for the first week think do a bit of abs or whatever even if just15 mins if u feel really down and out of sorts so hard over going then I stretching best for a few days or longer your brain will think stretching easy and ifyoudo it same time each day you will start to want more

      She deserves that confidence! She owned up to missing a few hits and minor details in this last year (hell, I felt like the planner for 2019 was a reflection of my own year's experience lol) she works her butt off to top that, plus her workouts this year, plus her fitness line, plus her wedding(!), plus life, I am JUST as hyped as she is for this new planner. Kicking butt!

    I literally love working out. I wake up at 5am to workout. When I get home from work, I look forward to going for a walk, doing a very quick easy toning video while watching Netflix and sometimes I’ll even do a second workout. It hasn’t always been like this. I had to build a consistent habit, and I can’t imagine not exercising or falling off the wagon now. I was so sick years ago and my motivation is to NEVER BE THAT SICK AGAIN.
    Find a really strong motivation.

    extra tip from me: I found that it's hard to go from 0 to 60, or to just dive into a workout, even when I have the scheduled time and space to do it, whether or not there's a planned stretch or warmup in the routine... so having some kind of fun thing to jump start your heart rate as a go-to warmup helps me a lot! (PSY's "Daddy" is my current song to bop to before getting started!) It's much easier to continue than it is to start.

      I like to put my phone on shuffle and challenge myself to do a warmup to whatever my phone decides to play! It gets my brain working alongside my body and can be funny, depending on how cruel my phone decides to be 😂

      gurl, to avoid going to a dojo or gym for it (even though the people who go are AMAZING, the cost is not in my budget) I'm building my own corner in the garage to make kickboxing my ultimate workout. Absolutely LOVE IT

    The planner: Honestly you guys have seriously out done yourselves. I actually REALLY appreciate the keepsake boxes they come in because honestly it sets the bar on it's worth monetarily. The aesthetics are cute and originally Blogilates-- catered specifically for our community :) it's not like you can pick up a similar one at the local Target. I am one of those people who didn't like the time tracker because my schedule was never really "set" and the fact that my day starts at 3:30am and ends at 7:00pm--- the written out time slots never worked for me anyway. Listing just lines with no time I actually really appreciate----now it CAN be used by me if I neeeded :D The tracking of measurements is awesome even if you don't use them, it's a wonderful option for all of us Popsters! The bundles are next level----the pins and calendar, just from online and this video seem like HUGE high quality! I feel like you guys are giving us POpsters the planner that we truly always dreamed of. Thank you guys for always challenging yourselves for us!

    It's been a little over a year that I stick to working out with your calendar. I did not have any weight issue, but still, I suddenly realised that I was not getting younger! So, one day, out of nowhere, I told myself "I want to be in the best shape for as long as I could", and just like that I started working out with your videos. I don't even know how I got here, but I did NOT spend a single week NOT working out at least 3 times a week. I still don't like working out, but I've come to like being active, and working out makes me enjoy the inactive time even more. And that's because your videos are so accessible and cheerful!     Hi Cassey, my wife has been following your videos for years and recently got me into them. We love you and your workouts! I was wondering if you have plans to increase the amount of pregnancy videos because a lot of other workouts feature jumping around and nine months is a long time for my wife to be doing the same five videos! Thank you so much for all you do!

      Chris Austin you don’t have to completely change your workouts when you get pregnant. You only need to adjust near the end of your pregnancy or if you have a specific health condition that develops during pregnancy.

    Ring fit adventure for the Switch. I love it!
    It's fun, it encourages you, gives good advice about posture and health in general, it distracts, it tracks what you do and when and it asks you to take a break in between so you won't overdo it.
    It makes me sweaty and tired and I feel my muscles the next day.

    Wish I could buy that fit planner but it’s really expensive and my parents will never let me spend so much money on something like that. I know it’s a great thing to invest in your health and that this fit planner required a lot of people to be made that’s why it’s expensive, but there are still cheaper ways to log in your food intake workout sleep etc.. and I come from a modest family where you can’t spend 40$ on a planner. It makes me very sad that they’re this expensive. I know it’s business, but it’s gets more and more expensive every year :((

      Honestly that's just too expensive in general when there is so much free information on the internet that could help you create your own planner. Don't feel like you're missing out just because you don't buy what an influencer is selling! It's never a 'must have' even if they make it seem like you won't be able to get fit without it. You will!

      That’s what I do. Bullet journals are amazing but they just really require you to spend a lot of time doing the spreads and all of that. But in the end it allows you to take more time for you. And I find journaling to be very calming And the great thing is that you can do anything with them. You only write what you want. You don’t have to do a certain spread if you don’t think it’s gonna be useful for you. And the only thing you need is a notebook. You don’t even have to buy super fancy pens and supplies if you wanna keep it simple

    Coming back to this video 3 months into the year.... I just want to say, using this journal has 100% helped me to stay on track and keep me accountable. Writing my goals down has definitely helped me keep on top of them. Without the journal I would have given up in February (since it wasn't a great month for me progress wise), but I'm back in March still going strong.

    I agree with this!!! I always use to quit after a week going to the gym because it wasn’t a habit but 3 months ago I forced myself to go to gym even if I have no motivation and soon it became a habit. Now it’s just something normal I do and I look forward to it because of how much better I feel about myself! I will use these tips to help me keep going :)

    I've just had an epiphany for myself as a book lover, instead of watching a show while working out if I find an audiobook with an amazing plot then I can listen to around a chapter each workout and only let myself listen to it then! With how much I adore books I'll be desperate to work out all the time 🤣

    My motivation is that working out makes me feel happier and more satisfied. It is also a reasonable way to escape from school work, especially in the exam season when I'm stressed all the time so after working out, I feel so much better to go back to studying

    Took me 4 days of resisting the temptation but it’s just so beautiful and as a person who does way better with planning things out, I caved! I can’t wait to get it!!     On those hard to motivate and drag my body to the gym days, I started making an online order for a healthy take out meal scheduled for an hour after I enter the gym. It works really well for me and there is a really affordable local salad/smoothie place where I live.

    Keep your box and make it to a achievement box. Save small memories or notes when of your achievements or even the small steps you make towards your goal. When you feel down, useless or anything like that take it out and look through it.

    Ahhhh! I stopped the video at 4:59 because I want the Fit Planner to be a beautiful, exciting surprise when I get it. What never fails to motivate me to work out is how I'm making my physical and mental health happy. I think of the strength I'm giving but also getting. The reward you get after a -hard, exhausting- workout is honestly one of the best feelings for me. Fun workouts always work wonders! I do what I WANT to do which is why I now don't really follow your calendars to the letter so that my brain doesn't feel any frustration. (Not that I hate your workouts or anything though!!)

    I love planners but stress me so much because it tells me: you have to do it! It does not work with me writing down everything...I'm tired finaly and not wanna do it.😣 I'm more like: now, you rest enough, it's time to do your workout! 😊 But is so beautiful that planner!❤❤❤

    I used to follow blogilates’s calendar for two years then I flopped and I haven’t been working out for almost 2 years 🥺 I wanted to get my abs back so I started working out again following other fitness guru videos but I found myself going back to Casey, working out with her is torturous but fun 💖

    Wow this video showed a lot of research, but was still entertaining, new subscriber and think I’ll put a pause on your IG content. Hoping to see more RUclips stuff with this same energy and long form really helpful fitness tips.
    I also recently saw this planner and your other gear in target. Excitedly showed my fiancé and we proudly embraced that Asian people are now on the forefront not just in a store but on the end cap in the fitness section- in very white dominated Pittsburgh where we live nonetheless. Keep doing you, you’re doing so much for all of us!

    I have been consistently working out for the last 8 years. My body wakes up naturally at 4:30 AM ready to work out (as long as I go to bed ontime!!) I love to work out....with Cassey!!!

    I try to trick my brain into craving fitness instead of sweets when I need to feel better, especially the bloating workouts because I'm lactose Intolerant and my brain reads my stomach ache as anxiety 😅 It really does make me feel better and it's not an instant gratification for me yet. Our instant gratification are always the bad and unhealthy things 😅 so whatever bad habit is in question, it's always good to implement training your brain to crave something healthier and especially something we need to do instead of it.

    Guys this is so true. I have been working out from last 2 months i take break only on my periods that to only on 1st nd last day & It became a habit so when i take breaks my day feels so incomplete..during my exercise i watch Netflix, RUclips etc & its a best distraction

    I'm starting a new workout plan and I have recently bought some cute stickers related to cardio, weightlifting, meditating and home workouts/Pilates classes. Why? Because, like a child and her chores, I'm going to REWARD MYSELF WITH STICKERS for sticking to my weekly workout plan. Wish me luck xx

    One of my colleagues says she's addicted to running and it's the thing that gets her through the day. She craves exercise if she doesn't do any for a couple of days (which happens BC we have busy jobs that allow for now work-life balance). I am so jealous.
    I am in the process of starting a new workout plan and I am beginning the crave exercise each day, but I am fully anticipating my ADHD brain just giving up on this new hobby as soon as work stress builds back up. Luckily, I have a pretty active job as a teacher but I still need to find a way to workout around it.
    Basically, Cassey, thank you so much for the tips. I need this. I need help.

    I miss working out. I fell out of it because work caused a lot of bad migraines that left me incapable of even moving after work without being on some kind of medicine that made me feel sick. Im hoping i can do your 2020 challenge
