    where is driver?

      Go to disk manager and update the driver through Windows update or just simply check for Windows update with the device plugged in. You should find a driver which has the word chipsailing in it. Just download and install that. The reason it's not showing in the video is cuz I had already updated it

    I don't get:
    Other Devices
    or
    Biometric devices
    In my DevMan.
    Nor does Win Update find the device or driver when plugged in.
    Is there somewhere I can just download the driver manually?

      Windows puts it in Device Manager > DVD/CD-ROM drives > ADST Fingerprint USB Device
      Then it displays: "E:# The directory name is invalid." when I enable that driver.
      So, it doesn't work.

      @@lunosama Thanks. I ended up buying another one of AliExpress and it worked instantly. The Amazon one was a dud!

      @@lunosama It turned out to be a fake from Amazon. I brought the 'same' one on AliExpress and it worked perfectly.
