  • Hey guys! Today I show you how to buffer around upholstery when detailing your boat. We start off with painter's tape and we cover all the edges of the upholstery and any metals around it. PRO TIP: The metals around are very dirty and if you get them wet with your compound they will dirty up your pad very quickly! Then work your rotary buffer at about 1200RPM and work back and forth with medium pressure. Lastly, wipe everything down and you're done! That's it :)

Thank you for your videos. You have a lot of great content. It’s obvious you care about sharing your info & helping others who want to get into boat detailing. Filming in portrait mode really limits what we can see in the videos and IMHO doesn’t look as professional. I hope you will consider filming your videos in landscape mode.

Good tip covering metal with tape I learned the hard way but did grab the blue tape real quick! How do you get into the inside corners? where you can't get with the larger wheel.

I usually do it by hand or use my mini polisher.
