And this is why i always buy new bikes straight out a dealership i just don't trust people 😂 at least i know with a new bike it's 100% immaculate actually just bought one of the last triumph daytona's ever made but I'm loving this series great work
+Motorcycle John I live in Missouri and bought a bike out of Arkansas that was supposed to have a clean title. Apparently Arkansas doesn't write anything on the title about salvage. When I titled it in missouri it became "prior salvage". Anyways when i took the plastics off it had a sticker on the frame that said Florida rebuit with some other info. Does that mean I have a rebuilt title? thanx for any help John!
oh yes. It runs absolutely mint. It had a Micron full high mount race exhaust and a jet kit. It just had shitty plastics that I fixed up. I've now gones through it with new chain and sprockets, found the lower fairings, rear tire hugger, and rear seat cowl. It's a great bike but I will never be able to sell it for the 2200 I paid.
If you're concerned about taking a loss on the bike, you may consider riding it for, lets say 4 years, while keeping all service records. Sounds like a nice bike. Enjoy it. Time is on your side. The longer you keep it, along with the service records, the more confidence potential buyers will have in the bike. If you try to sell too soon, they will likely assume something is wrong with it.
+FusionOrtiz I have looked at several over the years but only make time to go see those that have potential to be purchased. After seeing them in person, I'm able to tell if they're a good fit for me, at that time. I try not to waste anyone's time.
Yes i agree that the 05 & the 06 are the same but the 07 & the 08 model is different from the 05 & 06 but in terms of body parts they are similar to each other.
i just thought it was funny because i watched a couple of you're videos and when you ask "where you work at" some people are thrown off by that question lol.. but eveytime i look at a bike i always ask now because of your videos! thanks! and I'm in coffee!
+AceTFR once I've narrowed the interested list down to one, taking the bike to a tech could give you peace of mind if you're not confident with inspecting it yourself.
DUDE, TOO MUCH TALKIN AND NO NUMBERS TOSSED OUT. COMPRESSION TEST TELLS WILL TELL YOU IF THE 18 YEAR OLD PUNK HAS BEEN REVVING IT IN NEUTRAL AND BOUNCING IT OFF THE REV LIMITER.
You just go around doing this that's messed up man your wasting people's time and you don't even buy it or even interested in in your just doing it for a video
+Treysworth this was a series on how to buy a used motorcycle. Each bike in the series was being considered. I wasn't wasting anyone's time. If you check out the rest of the series, you'll see the ZX10 that I went with. Even had enough money left over to buy the KTM XCW 525 that I ride in the other videos on this channel. Thought it'd be helpful to clarify ✌
+Motorcycle John yeah I love seen it all that's why I noticed this series is how to waste time it's kinda obvious is some vids you had no intention of getting some of the bikes
+Motorcycle John yeah from what I've seen its a really good bike but some of the ones you looked at even other people said it seems like you have no intention of buying it
"i gave it up after i had my... [pause] kids"
"well i was too lazy to buy another tire"
yeah okay bud. lmao
Some people know what questions to ask and some are just good at asking questions. This guy is both.
Good stuff for new riders my Brother!
And this is why i always buy new bikes straight out a dealership i just don't trust people 😂 at least i know with a new bike it's 100% immaculate actually just bought one of the last triumph daytona's ever made but I'm loving this series great work

+Intense Wet Dreams sometimes you just have to walk away..
man people are way too sketchy in this world. The seller just doesn't seem right to me.
I don't buy a bike I can't cold start

Based on what you've written, sounds like it, bud. What kind of bike was it that you bought in Arkansas?
Thanks for responding I appreciate it. The bike was a 2002 Sv650s with 7k miles
Does it run good and feel right when you ride it?
oh yes. It runs absolutely mint. It had a Micron full high mount race exhaust and a jet kit. It just had shitty plastics that I fixed up. Do you just go look at motorcycle s without the intent of buying them, ?that's a good way to get experience of you do

Could you post narrative vids to say what you are looking for and what you noticed about each bike.
Interesting. Is there a specific question or bit of informing that you're interested in, specifically?
B. Porte I've got something started for you, bud. Nice idea. Thanks for sharing.

Basically everyone here in NY including myself
you need to wrap your mic in cat fur
well for me the 06 & the 07 models gixxer 1000s are the best ever made.
+Christian Benn And why is that? any specific reasons for 2006 and 2007 models.
They are great bikes & they look similar to each other & they also have good top end.
06 and 07 are different. 05 and 06 are the same....07 and 08 are the same. but they changed a good bit for the 07 and up
Yes i agree that the 05 & the 06 are the same but the 07 & the 08 model is different from the 05 & 06 but in terms of body parts they are similar to each other.
Yeah they are, I do know the 07 weights more than the 06 lol.
howto record the wind
prolly could use a new chain huh? says this for every bike 😂😂😂😂
RED10R here ask because to see what they say, just see if they keep there chains grease properly
Your buying a used bike it ain't gonna be perfect. Lol
where you work at? lol
+V Lams Help grow businesses. You?
i just thought it was funny because i watched a couple of you're videos and when you ask "where you work at" some people are thrown off by that question lol.. but eveytime i look at a bike i always ask now because of your videos! thanks! and I'm in coffee!
You didn’t know the status of the title before you went to go look at it? No way.
man here in germany bikes are MUCH cheaper you can get one like this for about 3500euros (4000dollars) with less kilometers/miles on it!
+Moedaprince How much would you expect to spend in Germany for an 05 ZX10 with 15k?
don't know check autoscout24.de change language into english and see yourself
+Moedaprince Thanks, bud ✌
Motorcycle John 5500-6000
Not in Japan, it's hard to find one for less than $6,000

The seller seemed shady.

what helmet and jacket is that?
+Kenny Pham Bilt Bluetooth helmet and a Nike jacket
the nike jacket is padded?
+Kenny Pham I wish..
Why don't you just take it to a motorcycle technician to get it inspected and spend $20-30 instead of wasting your time?
+AceTFR once I've narrowed the interested list down to one, taking the bike to a tech could give you peace of mind if you're not confident with inspecting it yourself.
Nah, that rim prob bent somewhere
+DØPÊ 😄
Why are u buying in a parking lot.
Surely that's a bad idea.
Look @ thoose chicken strips!
