Great video, I just did this job on my MT-10 and the whole time I was cursing I should have bought a GSXR1000. I was partially kidding but seeing how much easier your bike is to work on the idea is creeping in that I may need to swap bikes lol.
Awesome video I’m a first time rider and dang this looks like so much work lol Ur glad this an awesome in depth video to achieve the goal, It man I wish u were in oregon I’d rather pay u to do it lol it seems like their is so many things to try and remember
Hello, please, could you explain to me in more detail the 2 hoses that connect to the gas tank? There are 3, there are 2 attached and one loose. I know you mentioned in the video that there is one that doesn't connect... but which one is it?
They are both just drained tubes from the gas tank brother incase they get over filled or the bike tips over n the the 3rd one that goes to nothing is just there as a vent to tube
I don't believe there is a way of telling once u mix them up brother (it helps to mark them before removing them) but I have done that before lol and I just put them back in any kind of way at that point and I have not had an issue doing it (it's just my preference to put them back where they came from, when taking things apart i just like putting everything back where it was)
Hey, I have an ‘01 CBR 929 Fireblade. When I test drove it it ran fine, but a couple of minutes after I started riding it home it lost power and died. Last temp I saw before I died was 238F. No smoke, but coolant was in the oil. Upon further inspection I saw coolant in the cylinders (not on the heads) and up by the camshafts and block head. The block doesn’t look damaged, so I assume it’s either a leaky water pump or head gasket, which I have ordered both. However, I’m mechanically challenged so I need some advice. Any ideas or comments?
Ah Gocha. Any advice for flushing the milkshake out of my engine? I’ve heard of special corrosive fluid that will break down the coolant and spare the engine, but I’m not sure what to look for…

Why is it important to replace the could back to where it came from? When my spark plugs were done my buddy didn't return them to where they came from he just threw them back on randomly

if u saw coolant in the cylinders already then thats confirmation that the head gasket is toast and needs to be replaced brother
