Phalaenopsis Orchid Recovery In A Terrarium

- In this video I transfer my old pot bound miniature Phalaenopsis orchid to a new terrarium to give it the space and humidity it needs to thrive. I have had this orchid for 8 years and it is now overdue a repot. In order to revive this orchid and also to create an interesting over the rock appearance I transfer the orchid to a small terrarium to provide a better growing environment. Phalaenopsis orchids are epiphytic plants which naturally grow on the surface of rocks or tree trunks and so this terrarium should allow it to grow in an environment which is closer to its natural habitat.

I love that you actually show the results on this channel and do a little recap.
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed the recap at the end, if I can I always try to include a recap or time lapse of the plants growing in my videos.
Thank you! That was really encouraging.. and may have saved the life of a small orchid I was about to throw in the bin!
now I gotta try nursing my moms half dead orchids back to life! :)
Love this! That orchid is adorable, love the terrarium. I feel a replanting session commencing.
Thanks, the extra humidity really benefits the plant.
*GREAT JOB* ~ Lovely orchid! I really appreciate your explanations and your channel -- thank you!🥰
I've got a dying orchid, let the rescue attempt commence, I'm sticking it in a jar with some plastic with holes poked through on top.. Thanks!
