- I will be making a quilt from Pitchfork Quilts using their laser precut kit called Dancing Pinwheels. Pitchfork Quilts is a family owned company that creates laser cut quilt kits. Caitlin is the designer mastermind behind these beautiful quilt kits. The quilt kits are made in the USA and Pitchfork Quilts creates pre cut kits so there is less cutting for people who might have health issues that make cutting painful or even dangerous. As a small business, they are focused on customer service. If you like this quilt, please reach out to Pitchfork Quilts to get your own kit. Maybe watch the whole video for a surprise.
From Pitchfork Quilts:
Our laser pre-cut quilts are perfect for someone who wants to enjoy quilting! We cut out the cutting and the thinking! You can sit down and just enjoy!
These quilts are also awesome for quilters with arthritis, mobility issues, and others who shouldn't use a rotary cutter. Women on blood thinners who risk more from getting cut should consider our kits!

General Business Moto:
We want to help you enjoy quilting!
We want to bring quilting to those with arthritis and mobility issues so that you don't have to forgo your craft that you love. Our hearts break thinking of the many barriers women face when it comes to quilting. Women (and men) sacrifice so much to have families, support the ones we love, and give to our communities. We want to help you work through those physical and mental barriers. We want to bring you back to your beloved craft. We believe all crafters who "try out quilting" are hooked and love this craft the most. We want you to always be able to do what you love...Quilt!

Beautiful quilt April Thank you for sharing with us xx
The embroidery pattern is really cute. Wish I had an embroidery machine. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching!
Love watching you improvise. You are delightful to watch!❤️
Thank you so much!
This is a really cute quilt. Love all the precuts and how they were all labeled. What a great idea. The navy quilt would be great for a baby or for any occasion.
There are paper labels with a letter on the stacks of fabric cuts. The instructions refer to those letters. 😀
Love the quilt. No cutting would make it so much faster 😊
Thank you 😊
Cute quilt & another great video! I ❤ watching & learning from you!
I'm so glad!
Thank you so much for watching my channel ❤️
The quilt turned out so adorable. You did a great job.
Thank you! 😊
Hi April, You sew and have a lot more experience than me. I just want to suggest lengthening your stitch length. Eleanor Burns always says to sew at 2.0. Also checking tensions and pressure on pressure foot. Love your videos. ❤
Thanks for sharing!
Your quilts are always beautiful and I love watching how you make them. You are truly inspirational and of course we can't forget your assistant, Oliver. Thank you so much for sharing as always. Looking forward to the next video. Stay happy and healthy.
You too! Thank you so much for watching
That is a cute quilt, and so easy without all the cutting! Thank you for sharing this quilt with us Your quilting looks great!
Thank you so much!
Awesome quilt thanks
Thank you! 😊
That’s beautiful well done
Less pressure on the presser foot should help alleviate some of the puckering on the HST blocks.
Maybe the a tension adjustment would help, too.
Yep . I have to put mine on 43
Thank you!!! I do appreciate the tips!!!
Great video and beautiful GIRL QUILT! I love watching the quilting, too!
Thank you so much!
I love❤❤❤ the quilt ! There is a lot of ideas with half quart triangles.

Loved how your "embroidery" machine quilting came out. Lovely job, April‼️💕
Thank you so much!
The Quilt turned out beautifully...and Oliver helped.😄
😻
If I quilt the quilts I make I do them with my embroidery machine. Some have worked well, others not so much!

Love your videos! I agree with several others that your machine tension is too tight and causing your fabric to pucker. Quilt is beautiful as always!
Good to know! I appreciate you telling me ❤️
I ❤ this quilt. The way you trimmed around the hoop is a great idea
Thank you! 😊
Love the way the quilting came out using your embroidery machine!
Thank you! 😊
Just Watched Video. Great Idea for a Baby Quilt! Keep the Inspiration Coming!!🤩
More to come!
Great job!!! I love how you used your embroidery machine to quilt it.
Thank you! 😊
I love this quilt and love that you did the quilting with your embroidery machine!❤❤
Thank you! 😊
I love watching your videos❤
Omg! I don’t think I could ever do this on my embroidery machine. I’ll stick with my longarm.
I love both
Love this! She designs pretty quilts & they’re quick!
I totally agree!
Love it!
Thanks!!
I love your approach to quilting. Thank you for your inspiration
Thank you so much!
Love this, you did a great job!
Thank you so much!
Nice job April. You always look so nice.
Thank you! 😊
This is one of my favorite quilts. Thank you
Mine too!
This is a a precious baby girl Quilt.❤❤❤
Thank you
How cute 🥰
😻
Love it 🎉🎉
❤️
This was awesome
Maybe your thread tension is not quite right. That can cause the wrinkles at the seam. You probably already know that.
That is a good point. Ty. 😀
I love this it is adorable ❤
Thank you
I think your tension is off a bit on your sewing machine. It should not be gathering the fabric when you sew. But you certainly found a way to fix the problem after the fact. Beautiful quilt!
Thanks for the tips!
love love 🥰😍😁
❤️
This is beautiful.
I've found using s 3.0 stitch length helps me avoid these wrinkles since you are stitching on the bias and that means stretch. It could help yo spray startch the fabrics stiff so they don'tstretch. A loser stitch will allow the bias to lay flatter.
Thanks for sharing! You are awesome!!!!
❤❤❤
❤️
Super cute Miss April. That’s a huge hoop you have for the emb machine. That makes it super nice to work on bigger projects…and nope, there was no way to tell where you added a row of stitches. 🤗🤗 hope ya had a terrific 4th of July. 😊
Yes it does! I did have a great 4th
Thank you for watching
Beautiful!! This would also look really nice if it was made with a different fabric for each pinwheel. I like the kit Reading Nook w/Ruby Star Ombré. It is less a “baby quilt”. I have yet to use my embroidery machine to quilt.
That would be cool!
Nice quilt! As always-you do an interesting and informative tutorial😊
Thank you! 😊
That turned out cute. Would you be willing to make another one that’s scrappy?
I’ll put on my to do list! Thanks for the suggestion
Oh my
😜
What machine are you using? Your embroidery work looks so much more straightforward than what my own machine requires.
Brother luminaire
spray that square and put the iron on that edge lenthwise .
Great advice
I love it! We are having our first great grandchild in January and expecting a boy! 🍼🍼🍼I have been sewing a precut pattern by Laundry Basket Quilts that is great! Love that it is all cut out for you. Thanks fir the video👏👏👏
Congratulations!!!!!
@@aprilscraftroom yea!
Thread tension too tight. Good solve to that problem.
Yes, thanks
I wish you showed more of the quilting process, does the machine do one pinwheel at the time? how does it do its job, cannot fathom it. If it can quilt I'd buy one.
Hi
So the Embrodery machine can quilt because I down loaded a quilting design from designs by juju
I did a live video showing the quilting step by step on a baby quilt
I think it might be more helpful for you to see it step by step
We did the whole crib size quilt in about an hour
See the link I posted in the next comment
That’s the live video

Hi April, wondering what the name of the end to end quilting design is and where you bought it from?
Designs by juju is where I bought it
Is your tension to tight?
Or your stitch is to small?
Maybe a little of both
Would love to know what embroidery machine you have. I love that you quilt with.
Looks like a Brother Luminaire
It is a brother luminaire
I looooove it ❤️❤️❤️
@@aprilscraftroomthank you!
@@sheilafruge60thank you
That is acute pattern.
I love it
There must be something wrong with your tension to create such wrinkles.
Yes!
