I love 3V! It’s not the most corrosion resistant but the ease of sharpening, & edge holding is great! I have zero issues with 3V on folders.

Also haven't had any issue with this 3v, it was made Crucible and they do a pretty good job on their stock metals, at least all the ones that I've checked out🙌

I have the same one in Elmax with the dagger blade. The first thing that you notice is how surprisingly light it is.

yeah it carries wonderfully in the pocket, super light and easy to index, definitely one of my favorites this year

Have been on the Fence about this knife for a while now. but it would definitely have a place in the collection.

Thanks for looping back for the follow-up! I had a chance to handle something in the Exo family and it was a unique experience to be sure. I'm a bit on the fence as the the legal interpretation of my local laws, but I am 100% on board with giving accolades where they're due for the design and manufacturing prowess on display.

oooh nice pickup! I considered a Dagger blade but I knew I was going to put this one to work as a user so ended up opting for the drop point, its served me well!

Yeah I saw that! I love that they're adding more material options to hit what people really want, I love mine in 3v and micarta but I also wouldn't mind one in the purple haze fat carbon and elmax

This is the safest knife I have ever used. Never accidentally cut myself since my hand never gets in the way of the blade on the close. Just wish it was legal to carry outside my house 😢

I've liked that blade since I first saw it. I'd like it in a double edged dagger. Killer blade&killer vid brother!!

Seems like most people prefer the dagger, for me I prefer the drop point since it's just better for my carry purposes(the dagger definitely looks cooler though)😂

Hi, I have a question since you’ve had it for quite some time. I own the same model and when I rince the knife and dry it out, there’s always water remaining in the channels…Have you noticed any rust or oxidation on the 3V blade from this remaining water/humidity? Thank you.

Nice video. Many of the people who are afraid of gravity and auto knives base their options on what they have seen in movies.

It kills me that some people are wired to only see it as a weapon when it's such a great tool in its own right

The rattle is to be expected with a knife design such as this.
It is not a folder or an auto.

I tend to hold your opinion in higher regard than some of the other “reviewers”. I feel like you actually use your knives and review from the standpoint of a user, rather than collector. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a place in the community for reviews from collectors, just as much as users!
I feel like most these modern knives can all be used to a degree, but things like ergonomics, carry profile etc are even more important than if a knife CAN be used. An uncomfortable, but tank of a knife might as well not be capable of use at all. And so that is the information I tend to seek out and I think you cover those things really well. Hopefully that makes sense!
Wonderful video as always, my friend! I hope you, and everyone else have had a wonderful weekend, and those of you who get Monday off enjoy your extended weekend! Stay safe out there everybody!

I'm sure eventually I'll find that one knife that I'm unwilling to carry but I haven't added it to my collection yet 😂 everything's getting pocket time🙌 thanks for all the support man

they see it as a weapon because theyve been conditioned. like switchblades. terrible knives usually, but stick em in a film and then have them banned and theyre fkn evil. Here in the UK they do the same thing, in the 80's they banned ninja weapons because of films.. then they banned 'zombie knives' because they needed to blame knife crime on. its just conditioning. I admit, this is one knife that I find hard to slowly and carefully open to make it look less offensive to these types of people.
