So like 2 days ago, I was watching a youtube video where I thought another vegan cook was making a shakshuka because that’s what the thumbnail looked like… and it was not a shakshuka. I was wondering if anyone had made a vegan shakshuka, and here is your video! I’ve wanted to try this when I wasn’t vegan, and I’m excited to see this vegan version. Can’t wait to try it, I’ll have to let you know how it turns out!
Love shakshuka! Sometimes I will just use little dollops of vegan cream cheese as the "egg" and it is also delicious aswell. It's my go to busy week night meal
Wow My Mum use to make it for our family quite regularly 60 years ago😉 and it was Yum I done it for my kids when they were younger thats 45 but after Plantbased I never done it. But will definitely do use recipe Malin. Yes the original with onions, tomatoes and herbs are great, sorry I can't eat any bell peppers or capsicum..Thanks Malin for recipes 🍅
shakshuka has been in our meal rotation for years, i like adding some smoky babaganoush or grilled zucchini sometimes for different flavor notes. your version looks amazing!
You never disappoint! I look forward to your video each week. This will be the second or third Valentine meal I’ve watched. I can’t wait to see it. Thank you Malin & Rob!
I ate vegan shakshuka at a restaurant in Malmö not so long ago and I have been thinking of making it myself ever since. They had replaced the eggs with just white beans but this was a good idea too, I will def be trying this version soon 🙂
Good morning Malin. It was a good surprise to have a morning video because often your video's are in the afternoon and it was a great start to Sunday. Yummy 😋 recipes. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕❤Malin & Rob.
Shakshuka is so tasty and I have just left the eggs out when making it vegan so far, but the tofu egg is a great idea! I usually put in brown lentils to bulk it up a bit, that's a nice addition, I think. Best with pita in my opinion :)
This looks so good and I am definitely going to make it! I have finally started making my own bread and this shakshuka will be perfect with it. I am also really looking forward to your Valentine's Day menu. I made your Valentine's Day menu last year and loved it!
😮 my mouth is watering. This is a great brunch idea! I used to have this dish all the time at a local North African restaurant. I still go there and have other meals but whenever someone at a neighboring table orders it I stare longingly 😂 But now I want to make it myself. Thank you!
Hi...supposedly Miles, (his name), from "Healthy Crazy Cool" on youtube might be in Sweden now with his partner, Jill, i think that's her name, but i'm not sure, in case you want to suggest good vegan restaurants to them...i think they are only there for 2 weeks, but may have been there a week already, i don't know...Your personalities are very different, so, i'm not sure if you both would be completely comfortable, if you showed them around, however, you and Jill might be more compatible, i don't know, but just in case you wanted to suggest some good vegan restaurants and stores, here's his channel...🍊 ruclips.net/video/jNurwx0sypI/видео.html Also, here is a vegan Golden Beet Reuben recipe you might want to try that looks really good...🍓 ruclips.net/video/eSnZ_m5Iqqg/видео.html
To make it look more like an egg you could add the turmeric to the leftover tofu in the blender and put a tiny dollop of that on top of each “egg” 😊
I was just thinking that

I love shakshuka! I have to try it with a tofu egg. I also like to add to smoked paprika to the sauce. And in summer I add diced eggplant.

You're a lovely person, Malin.
I tried your shakshuka tonight and it was delicious! Thank you so much Malin for another yummy dish! 😊
