I love everything about this video and it gives me hope as a future robotics technologist that the moral implications of workplaces of every type being increasingly saturated with robotics. That those who work day to day with robotic assistance feel liberated and not displaced by their robotic counterparts.
Plus the music was great and the cnc shots were great too, as I'm particularly interest in the interface between robotics and manufacturing.
As well you approach to collaborative safety is very interesting and I think quite clever. And even the design of the robot is great. You all have a great thing going 👌🙏

FIrst of all, I think that collobarative robots today are not for massive manufacture. The main issue is repeatability. Our UR losses points, and why Audi fabric in Hungery raplece these UR robots? We have this robot in our firm for screwing process but If you ask me I would replace with normal robot which is more accurate. The main issue in collaborative robot is safety. You can have safety robot but do you have safety process (grippers..etc)?

The company I work for has half a dozen UR robots. Employee count has gone UP since implementing them. The number of machines that needed an operator went down so the company bought more machines...and with more machines, the need for setup increased so operators were promoted to setup positions which came with a $5 an hour raise.
The first CNC clip in this video is from our company. The cell runs 24/5 while the operators in the milling department setup and tend to 6 other machines. Freeing up operators to focus on low volume parts (hundreds per order vs thousands) and quality control has been a major benefit to the company, the customers AND the employees.
Needs maintenance too.
This time I will use Stodoys plans for this.
