Basecamp Ouray is legit! I used these guys for a large group rental this past May and they were awesome! Can’t wait to get on the Gold Mountain Via Ferrata!
Whoa!!!! These heights ~ my arms would be jelly ~ jello/rubber ~ shaking ~ and the bridge!!! Tina - you rock chickeepoo!! & hello to Jerreeey ~ just the driest humor. So cute. Keep safe - dynamic duo...
Great build of a Via Ferratta - safety, challenge & a work around when desired. Extra cheers to Tina for "that section" ! Very good video Jerry. Owners should be happy for this share!
Another great video! Keep ‘em comin! My wife and I met Logan this past summer when we were in Ouray. Unfortunately, we decided to check on the Via Ferrata too late and couldn’t get a guide, but Logan was super nice and we’ll definitely head back and do that Via Ferrata ASAP!
Wow, If that does not get a person out of their comfort zone then nothing will. These guys did some excellent work installing this. I will check these guys out closer. I just hiked Picacho Peak a couple of hours ago and need some sit down relaxing time and this is just the video to watch.
This is so wildly awesome in so many ways WOW, I've gotta book me a climb for sure cheers for scenic hike/climb always looking forward to your adventures,
Another awesome video ! We've completed 5 Via's and need to add this one to our list ! Let us know if you are ever in West Virginia and we will take you to the Nelson Rocks Via !
Over 6 weeks of off roading in Colorado I went a few times to Ouray and flew my drone all up on the mountains. It is spectacular both from bottom up and from top down... and doing that whilst walking the cable has to be downright terrifyingly exhilarating!
Hello from Ouray, Colorado!! I hope you are doing well!! Thank you for this really awesome video! I havent done this via ferrata yet. It looks like a must! Logan is really awesome!! He is really respected in town and a super nice guy! We bought our home in Ouray thru his step mom. Go Logan!!
That is really awesome!! I haven't met Xander yet :-( We are out in the Colorado Desert by Palm Springs currently. Will head up to Vegas for a U2 concert this Friday, and then return down to here foe another week....then back to the winter trending Ouray.
It's kind of a mix between the Ouray and Telluride via's. More man made structures (bridges, tight wire) and rungs like the Ouray one, but the Hard Man's Pitch reminded me somewhat of the Main Event at Telluried. Throw in the mining history and bar at the top and it's a great route.
I think it is not so difficult.... There's always a step you can take safely and easily... But man, the landscape and the environment over there is awesome!! Hope one day I'll try it! Thanks!!
“Need coffee? Nah, I’m good”..lmao. Really enjoyed this one…you two are BA. Liked the background info on the owner and associates and the building of this amazing challenge. Seeing that I’m terrified of heights I had to put on a pair for of depends about 3 minutes into this vid….. great camera work and editing. Already watched this one three times..
I love that things like this are available and the pricing is probably exactly what it should be (I wouldn't know) but $500 per person was more than I was expecting.
We went last summer, so pricing wasn't finalized then. And they had a lot of different features they were kicking around that were cool - like drinks and food at the bar on top. If it looks interesting to you, I recommend giving a call and seeing what options they have.
@@angelaledgerwood6872 Ahh.. They changed it! Awesome. It says in the description: Pricing: Plain and simple. For a limited time Book Now and get in at our grand opening rate of 250 person.
That was definitely your best-edited video ever, congrats! However I doubt I would try that and I am wondering how low the percentage of those willing to try - 2% max? :)
This looks incredible!! Out of curiosity, are experienced climbers allowed to do this independently or is booking through BaseCamp required? Either way, great job on adding another element of awesomeness to my favorite CO Town!!
You'd have to reach out to Basecamp Ouray and confirm, but I think you have to go through them. It wasn't finalized when we went, but I know this via is on private property.
Do you realize that the bones of the earth or the rocks that you climb on and before the flood they were underground and expose like they are today because of the flood they’re exposed can you imagine that God is so good God bless
Hey you better listen me. We (montrose and ouray) people shalt team. We need a team be processing now. Apocalypse coming up o'clock alarm. We have no time. We need a team and meeting with processing now

Oh yes, I will be doing this
Omg I have to go back. When I went in 2021 they were talking about developing the route. Its awesome to see it completed.

Hey Matt, this is Logan from Basecamp. Shoot me an email before you book! Thanks for the shout-out

Picacho is a fun one. The via's in Colorado are a blast. Give them a call. They do guided climbing, both Ouray vias and even ice climbing.
Great video. Looking forward to via ferrata

Yeah, Logan (and Xander) is great. And it's a really fun and unique via. Love Ouray.

One of your best videos yet. Hell of an adventure.
Awesome video! I actually got butterflies watching and could feel the bounce and anxiety!
Nope but maybe?Someday
You guys Rock!
That was incredible!11
Saweeeet! Looks more intense than the one in Telluride.

Amazing adventure thanks Jerry and Tina for sharing. Stay safe my friends
Wow! We’re totally inspired. We’re checking schedules, and researching Ouray right now. Excellent video Jerry. Loved every minute!
That VF looks incredible! I did the VF in the Ouray gorge and a couple in Switzerland last summer, and I’m addicted! Can’t wait to try this one!
WOW, Theres alot of work put into that obstacle course. Looks safe but really scary if your afraid of hieghts. You and Tina are true adventurers .
Beautiful views and scary! Not for the faint of heart!
Beautiful video! thank you so much for this. I'm a new subscriber.
Wow! That looks like quite an adventure!
Wow...!😀
Their dream is awesome!!
I think it is not so difficult.... There's always a step you can take safely and easily... But man, the landscape and the environment over there is awesome!! Hope one day I'll try it! Thanks!!
Epic! Love the documentary style.
Bam! That was awesome!
Nice video!! Totally doing this!
Cool to see, glad you guys did it. Not sure I could talk myself into it. 😅

It was a great time. And they're all good people. Trying to get Logan to come down here to AZ sometime and check out some technical canyons.
Beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing. New subscriber here :)
Freaking Epic!
Thank you for making good videos.

I just checked the website - it's $250/person.

Lord! I got sick just by watching this. 🤪🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Such a good video!!! ❤️

Love you guys videos. I have a dumb question but do you train for your hikes an how? Thanks you again

❤❤❤
More cowbell!!!!
Is there ever enough cowbell?
Sorry if this was addressed and I missed it, but does this via require a guide or can I go alone?
It's on private property. Basecamp Ouray has exclusive guiding rights, so you have to contact them. Great outfit and highly recommended.
Do you realize that the bones of the earth or the rocks that you climb on and before the flood they were underground and expose like they are today because of the flood they’re exposed can you imagine that God is so good God bless
$439 per person?????????? That cant be right.....
Nature destruction at it's best! Very environmentally friendly.
Excellent 👌👌
