    Final Cut Camera is very helpful and I am glad Apple is making an effort to improve video production via iPhone. The zebra stripes function is a welcome addition. The audio meter is essential. The meter, however, is ridiculously tiny. Apple needs to release an update and make it much bigger. The audio meter on iMovie for iPhone, for example, is big, clear and easy to see the level.

    I actually like the Final Cut camera app. I know it’s not for everyone but it’s easy to use. While the black magic camera app is great and hands down the best camera app for an iPhone. It just has too much going on on the interface. If I’m going to be going through all those settings and menu options on the black magic camera app I feel I might as well bust out my Sony camera. That’s just my 2 cents.

    I like all the manual settings and necessary information displayed on top level. However it's missing a cinematic mode, which made me have to switch back to the default camera app every time.

    Can we turn off the sharpening that Apple forces onto our videos using this final cut camera app?

      I was asking the same question. I dont think you can unless you shooting ProRes :( If you find a way I would like to know. SO far the Blackmagic app is the best for this purpose with small files.

    A camera app that has no video recording pause feature will never be the best for me. Moreover, I won't even use it.

    • @AppleInsider
      @AppleInsider  12 дней назад +3

      As in… pause mid-recording then resume? Why not just record two clips and merge them? You can even make a shortcut that does it automatically

    • @Oleg__
      @Oleg__ 12 дней назад +2

      @@AppleInsider Absolutely unacceptable. I don't use any video editors, I'm not interested in it. What if there are three, four, five such fragments? It's silly to deny that pressing pause is much faster and easier than sitting in a video editor and gluing everything together. When I had a smartphone on another OS, I often used this handy feature.

    • @AppleInsider
      @AppleInsider  12 дней назад +3

      @@Oleg__ I’ve never heard of anyone needing that. Again, a shortcut could stitch together. That would be super odd of a video with pausing happening.

      As usual AppleInsider blows everything up as spokesman of Apple marketing!
      There is no objectivity in this and all their other videos.
      Just plain marketing and RUclips likes to make money!

      @@AppleInsider So you don't use the internet. I see tons of wishful thinking on this topic all the time. Whether it's Reddit or other sites. And users who use another OS just take advantage of this obviously convenient feature and don't post about it. I had a once popular Nokia button phone. And even it had this feature. Funny.
