4:41, May I make a suggestion: When you demonstrate the camera App's ability to adjust white balance, exposure and so on, point the camera at something that's not completely white. Because if everything in the frame is white and the same, it's really hard to see the difference. If you did it in a park or your kitchen, for example, it would be more visually apparent when the adjustment is made.
By the way, those multi cam features aren’t just for the iPhones connected. I did this with two of my insta 360 camera cameras a few weeks ago. It even synced the videos together too.
Halide exists and is probably way better than anything Apple would make. Apple is way too obsessed with computational photography and the results they spit out in the default camera app have been getting worse for several years now, oversharpening to an insane degree, removing all semblance of contrast and anything resembling a shadow or highlight, the only solution to get decent images in 2024 that Apple gives you is to shoot raw and that fills up your phone’s space incredibly fast. Genuinely photos from iPhones 10 years ago looked more appealing generally than the computational ai garbage that the camera app spits out these days, I can’t understand why and how it keeps getting worse despite the sensor and lenses improving significantly. I took a photo of a friend last week and the way it oversharpened her features and removed all of the shadows on her face, I shot the same picture on a 40mp mirrorless camera and then again with the raw setting on iOS and both of those looked 100x better and despite being technically more detailed, they didn’t have that overprocessed oversharpened look that looks like digital vomit.
