This thing is so good that even with Full health builds you can one-shot or two shot any 100lvl enemy and legendaries so fast that you dont even give them the chance for the heatlh regen to kick in. I have a Mutant's, 25% less AP cost and it demolishes.
Being a Carnivore having a Vamp plasma caster is a easy way to farm scorched beast for meat. Rolled a AA too and even legendry scorchbeast can go down in one vats bar. If I happen to get low health just switch to Vamp and heal up pretty fast off the scorch minions.
Vampire plasma caster, what? 😮 First, I was running with Instigating, it's great for 1 shot most of enemies but then I got a new one Bloodied, +50 vats accuracy and now using it. The perfect roll will be bloodied, 50 accuracy, -25 AP cost. And this is not a crit build, just for roaming around. For a critical build you might want 50% extra crit and crit perk. Right now I'm able to kill most ghouls in meditation event just bu standing in the middle on the tower. Moonshine event - the same, it requires a bit more shots, but still. The fixer without questions are greater for that role, but with a plasma caster you have more advantage, because this is heavy weapon, because you can take Holy fire and other heavy wepons, you have more strength for more carry weight and you don't need to sneak ever, so take Adrenaline and enjoy)
Regular uses plasma cartridges. While prime uses ultracite plasma cartridges. Which is more expensive to make but hits harder and more effective on scorched enemies. But just farm daily ops and youll get plenty ultracite plasma cartridges
The prime ammo takes stable flux to make, but it also make more than the normal ammo. With a good build you use such little ammo on kills that when you go to loot you get more ammo back. I crafted 2k prime ammo a couple days ago, but now have 7k ammo just from enemy dropping the ammo.

Laser pistol build when? Try to make the beam splitter usable

I have a vampires prime plasma caster with all of the same mods as yours why does mine only do 148 damage?
If you're oneshotting everything is there any reason to use perks that increase damage on successive hits?
How do u get so many shots in vats I can’t get that many?
How about a two shot plasma caster.
Even if you arnt speced into heavy weapons you will still 2 or 3 hit anything

What’s the difference between regular and prime?
